Superpooper
Use your poo to properly an ICBM filled with curry. That's how you'll do it.
Tell me about India, OP, before the memes start.
What's it like living there? In developed areas, I mean.
Is there a stark contrast between shitty poor areas and developed areas or are there semi-shitty buffer zones?
Jobs?
Education?
Propel. Fuck autocorrect.
why is this all you people ever talk about? India wont be another superpower. Why does it even matter to you?
Superiority complex, m8
I assume this is a sincere question.
Anyway, I'm from one of the actually developed cities. It's obviously nothing like the memes here. And nothing like how they show in the movies (crowded, that random old guy pedalling a cycle transport, comically loud streets).
But it's far from ideal too. Corruption is pretty rampant - from the policemen to the government officials. And it's far from the most hygeinic country, I'll concede. But I almost never (go ahead, green text the 'almost') see poop in the road or anything, like we all like to say here.
AMA :)
I've been to southern India once and I work with a lot of Indian kids, so I'm no expert, but I can tell you my observations. India has extreme poverty, kids living in filth and people cutting off hands and feet to make them better beggar levels. There is also some really nice places that are up to modern levels anywhere in the world for the rich.
The education i've found is decent. Maybe not western level, hut far better than the African or South American kids I work with. It might not seem as good though, because the Indian kids have to learn in English which could delay them. Our Indian kids go to pretty good schools also so that is something to consider.
Is it true that on hot and humid days Indians carry onions around to wipe their bodys of sweat and afterwards use the onion in their curry?
Only after we use that onion to wipe our ass. Why waste a good onion? ;)
Can't inb4 your own thread

Sense of national pride or anything? Most indian cities I've seen in media are just hypercrowded places, but are you saying they're comparable to normal cities in terms of crowds/population?
>Corruption
I hear that a lot, is it something that fucks your shit up or something that doesn't really affect you unless you're in with the wrong people?
That sounds like one of the lesser developed cities.
I dunno, I find it interesting that a country can have such lovely, great cities and wealth but also be just a drive away from third-world levels of poverty on a mass scale.
i mean it has nukes a la china, what more do you want
I read this as "Canada became a superpower?"
North south east west or central india?
I'll only put up with eastern india if its a small village. The cities there are bangladesh-tier
learn to fucking shit in the toilet pajeet
I understand the drive to believe that your country would be a super-power, and military wise you might actually achieve it, but your social problems remain the same.
Usually, big cities don't have the amount of sheer degradation that Indian ones have, there's a level of poorness rarely seen in the world - so from that point of view you are far from civilized or a super power; I think you have a loose interpretation of the term. Likely as loose as your sphincter when you approach your designated street.
Strictly militarily speaking, you might but even that's a stretch as you don't have the innovation and production means as much as you like to paint it as such.
Socially, India is a disaster.
It's precisely why you get mocked, because you actually believe that you are civilized.
poo in the fucking loo and get your fucking gypsies back
When I was in Chenai for example, I walked out of a mall one night and had to step over people who were all rolling out mats to sleep on the sidewalk. Also leprosy man. It was weird seeing all that.
>can't shit in a toilet
>superpower
no
Well, I'm proud of my culture to a normal amount. That's kinda natural, I assume.
Overcrowding *is* a serious problem. I meant to say, it's not to a degree that is portrayed by stock footage used in Western media or like they show in Hollywood.
And corruption doesn't fuck you on a daily basis. For example - say you're building your house. It'll cost almost 1.5x of what it should - the 50% goes to the politicians and shit. And at this point, it's so accepted, it's disgusting.
A FUCKING ANUS
Only that's a lie. I worked for half a year in hyderabad and it was awful, smelly, crowded and poor.
You have to get out of India to fully understand why the world outside sees you this way; The fact that you got ultra-modern tech giants next to dirt poor people doesn't make you a super-power pajeet.
India may be shitty, but you realize you're the product of it?
South. From what I've seen of the North, it's a bit more advanced.
>inb4 some North Indian spewing some Hindi expletives that I'm not even going to understand
Yes, yes funny guy
I'd check my wallet if i were you
Yes, the poverty is alarming. I'm lucky enough to be born in the middle class (ffs I'm shit posting here), so I'm probably a bit biased.
Stealing all the CEO jobs!
Ever been to Lanka or the maldives? My buddy from Cuimbatore(?) Goes there every summer and says its pretty chill (as a tourist)
It's Coimbatore.
And nah, I've never been to Lanka or the Maldives.
Yes, you are
The same way I am when I say Romania isn't that bad whilst fully knowing what the situation is in the country side compared to other European nations.
But you do have to admit, at least to yourself the reality which is you can't become a superpower the way you'd want to be perceived with the current status-quo.
Think if you were born into a lower cast and had to work 12 hours a day carrying bananas for 8$/day
That pic, why?
Super POOER
Doubt it.
Never
Obviously we aren't becoming a super power anytime soon. But if we concentrate all our resources (which I don't think we should), we could come closer than ever before.
But as I said, we have much more pressing needs to address. Military is the last of our problems (unless China attacks; pls don't China)
I've been saying it for years. Indians are the new Jews
They promote other Indians and hire only Indians. They are cancer.
India is a place of huge contrast.
As I said, i've lived there for a bit and I understood a little part of it. Hear me out;
Essentially, because there's literally a billion people - the people in huge tech companies need to be really good; like exceptionally good - because there's HUGE competition which leaves a lot of professionals which have a good set of skills unemployed which leads to poverty because the state doesn't make it easy whatsoever to open your own business and even if you managed to, guess what? there's a shit ton of competition for the same reason i stated earlier...a billion fucking people..
BUT this also works in the exact opposite way - there are so many uneducated people that are dirt poor and they just keep pumping out more babies who can't contribute to society due to the status-quo when they grow up.
You need to objectively take care of the social issues first, and yo be realistic - reeducation on such scale would take at least 50 years if you start this second.
Correct me if i'm wrong

Gurgaon reporting in.
Also will answer questions
WTF I posted something along the same lines and it never got here.
Anyway, I agree. We need to concentrate on health, education, hygiene, social upliftment, infrastructure and facilities before anything.
Stop trying to poo in an astronomical loo India. Other countries with normal economies spend money on infrastructure rather than feacal orbit programs
People being aware of this is a first step, so consider yourself part of the solution. If you care enough of course;
Question for both of you:
I understand that it's exceptionally hard to create jobs for everyone, but why doesn't your govt start doing what china does on a larger scale and just manufacture everything?
That would improve conditions for the uneducated and will also improve the economy mid to long term.
All Indians i've personally met were pretty well educated individuals coming from good families so i didn't get a clear image because of them at first, but if you take a 20 minute walk on the streets - you start to understand more and more how it works or rather how it doesn't work.
>concentrate all our resources
Cover the Himalayas in shit
>India, the next superpower?
In 500 years maybe.
Except you will have destroyed yourselves through overpopulation by then.
i chuckled
>just manufacture everything
Actually, there is a recent step in that direction called "Made in India" (pretty original huh? :P) from the current government. I've heard mixed reviews of its effectiveness, so all we can do is wait and see how much it helps us.
>India, the next pooperpower?
Yes, the current and future pooinlooperpower.

It was you retards that brought this whole meme to the forefront. The majority of Indian flags on this board are proxyfags.
