Later seasons had a few great episodes, but it was so weirdly written. There was 3 main writers and I'm not sure they even talked to each other. You can watch episodes written by one person and it makes complete sense as an arc, but watching all episodes by everyone is a complete mess.
I really liked the NY parts of season 4/early season 5.
