never heard of it. whats so good about it?

>never heard of it.
you don't watch films, user.

i went to film school...not films

Branded to Kill is also good. Figured I'd mention before some autist gets mad.

Sansho the Bailiff is better but that's like top 5.

Perfect fusion of the yakuza, noir, samurai and spaghetti western genres with a lot of creativity and batshit insane stuff thrown in there.

i watch movies

It's definitely the best Fast & Furious film.

Branded to Kill is better though, All though I know this is extremely normie to say but the best Japanese film is Mishima a Life in 4 chapters

I thought it was just ok. Theres a handful of amazing shots but too much is barely developed plot against pastel colored walls. It's all sort of thin to me

Could have been more of a normie and say some shit like Battle Royale.

Does this movie have the best theme song?

sure why not.

>plot
kill yourself

Friendly reminder it is the GOAT.

Guys lets be honest.

It's the best.

t.kg reject

It's a great film but to call it the best Japanese film ever is ridiculous. Almost anything by Ozu, Kurosawa or Mizoguchi,is better

It's Kill Bill 40 years before Quentin did it.

That's not The Face of Another.

That Tokyo Drifter song he sings is really great.

Citizen Kane is the best one

Kill Bill is not even nearly as good.

what? that's not even an accurate comparison. if anything, Kill Bill is Lady Snowblood

Not really. A good nip noir, but best Japanese film of all time is overselling it.

Mishima is an American film user

best ever.

>Being that wrong twice in one post.
