I don't blame you, it's a movie where Roy Batty gets reframed as the protagonist with the same type of ending. Both characters reach for their humanity in the final act by doing something for Deckard.
It's genius.
So did Joe die or was just exhausted
dead
he's with his waifu now. in the blue heaven
...
hes still alive according to wikipedia he doesnt die he just lays there
He’s driving in the sky now
it was open ended, similar to that other movie I can't quite remember I think it was called Inception or something.
i felt part of myself die with him...
are you sure that movie was real or just a dream you had?
I had a dream about it. But was it *mine?*
was it electric sheep?
he becomes a real human bean and a real hero right after being stabbed in the abdomen...
was it pottery?
Depends if Ryan Gosling wants to come back for the sequel.
I'm not sure, but after watching real kino like 2049 I know for a fact I can't go back to a Nolan pleb flick and enjoy it.
do i need to rewatch the original tonight to understand this movie
or does it work as its own film
CELL
It works on its own but a few parts of the final act have far deeper impact if you've seen the original
Obviously, it's a squeal. Also you won't really understand what a replicant is if you don't.
I expected it to end with a bang.
no go dude, i had no idea what was going on and I didnt really see the first one
It's the ending to Drive but they cut out the drive.
cool, thanks
its a no go dude dont even waist your time
why was the third act so terrible?
Imagine being this entry level
Rewatch the original because it’s a great movie. It’ll help to have a refresher course too.
itl also help you actually no whats going in
>tfw Villeneuve just had to add some lines to Driver character and re-use some scenes from Refn's Drive
that last scene on the steps was pretty much from Drive
they even gave him a car to drive and feel in as his job.
personally I can't stop thinking about the scene where joi and the replicant girl merge together
just mind-bending
