holy shit what the fuck

That nick probably has seen way more fucked up shit than 616

I'd be interested in seeing a more realistic view of the Marvel world. As the title suggests, Ruins is more focused on "what if everything went to shit" realism
...
There's some other books like Punisher MAX that featured non-powered versions of the Marvel world
Jesus Christ!
How has Ellis done it?
Not so much alot of what hapoens is perfectly reasonable with the way the world works
The where everything went to shit part only really comes in with the cap and the treatment of the mutants
...
If it's any consolation, he's disavowed the book saying that it's garbage and he regrets writing it.

>Professor X dropped his pants and showed them his cock
This shit's edgier than Ultimatum
...
They really handled the mutants poorly everything was acceptable before this
What's Commissioner Gordon doing in Marvel shit?
...
>what could have led to him being president?
The alt-right. Who else could it have been?
Kree invasion stopped because the corpse of the suicidal Silver Surfer dropped their cloaks.
Black Panther is just some Black Panther.
Nick Fury is a suicidal psycho that kills hooker Jean Grey just because
Mystique is crazy because reasons.
Mangeto's powers work only to the point of fucking him over
Ultimates 1 and 2 were infinitely more realistic situations than this
...
This is the most Ennis book to ever Ennis and it wasn't written by Ennis.
...
Why did Marvel whitewash Fury?
please feed me (You)s.
...
...
he actually did it the absolute madman
And then Wanda whispered, "Everyone is assholes"
And Ennis got his career
...
...
Ben is perfectly fine in this universe surprisingly
...
To be fair, what else could you DO to Ben Grimm that isn't make him the Thing?
...
Have Doctor Doom become the Thing and Ben becomes the Hulk?
Make him the rock variation of ruins Hulk
moar tumors!
...
Hard to keep track of who is who when they're both middle-aged men wearing patches over their left eye.
...
Fuck.
I wish he had some obvious indicator who is who
GONNA
This is where character assassination becomes a problem
Just made peter a huge dick for some reason
Poor Peter.
Right, this is where it starts
/eyerollemojilereddit
...
Peter is a huge dick, though.
He really isn't. Spider-Man is a dick because Peter is bad at socially interacting, and his best idea to act in costume is the polar opposite of who he is. There's no reality where Peter decides "I'm infected with a thing. Let's go interact with people."
He'd have holed himself up in a lab and either figure out how to cure it, or let himself die so no one else suffered.
I only mentioned character assassination when it comes to peter blatantly spreading a virus when his life more or less should be the same
Everyone else acts according the shitty situations
I know its shit but I enjoy this type of shit
>Peter is bad at socially interacting
No he isn't
That's all there is hope you guys enjoyed the story
Pre-powers Peter absolutely is. It's literally the whole basis of Amazing Fantasy #15 that he is a wall-flower. And for most of USM's first... nine issues? However long it took for him to become Spider-Man. It's cool if you don't know about comics, but don't try and say that Peter knew how to socially interact with people before he got confidence in himself by having powers.
Any mention of Spiderman in the book, I might have missed?
Just where they make it that Peter is a virus spreading asshole at the end.
dude, really?
>enjoyed
It's a story you just suffer through. There is no joy here.
