Tfw waiting a few months for the theaters to clear up so i can watch this movie by myself

>tfw waiting a few months for the theaters to clear up so i can watch this movie by myself

if I was american I would definitely avoid the crowds

there are a few moments that allow for collective clapping, laughing and gasping, I'm just glad I live in an actual civilized society and was able to watch this in an absolutely packed but silent theater

I went to a large theater with my friend and it was just us and another pair.
Is this movie not doing well?

>Had a row of tweenagers in front of me
>By the end of the movie they were dead silent
Been a while since I've seen a movie do that to people.

after he leave deckard's place the movie nosedives

the ending is so egregiously corny and insulting

I hope it does well, but none of its marketing has been working for it. The ads are crap. The interviews are crap. The poster is crap. The name is crap. Everything is crap.
The marketing is doing a massive disservice to it.

Just go to the first morning showing like i did.
It was me and one other person there for the 11:05am showing

Go see it in IMAX for the music and cityscapes. My theater was way less than half full today.

big if true

I actually saw like 5-6 people sitting by themselves in theater when I saw it tonight. It was pretty funny.

naw those are just people waiting for their loved ones to come back with the popcorn

Who wants to sneak burritos into the theater and drop acid with me?

Naw I got up a couple of times though out the movie and the same people were always by themselves, none of them looked like NEETs they were all sad and old. :(

Very, VERY weak
Its like people forgot how to make movies. The transitions are shit, movie is full of happy coincidences, and most characters dont get any development
As a movie by itself, its meh. As a sequel to Blade Runner, its downright shit.

>watching a movie with only 20 people inside
This the best way to watch a movie. No hollering nigglets. Frequently standing old people. Ringing phones.

seems like your tiny peanut brain is having a little trouble connecting the dots there buddy

>Walk in at 4pm in hopes of atleast getting some emptiness
>Only 9 other people in the room perfect
>sit in my seat and wait for the movie to start
>movie doesnt play and we are sitting in a room of black
>after some bitching the movie starts
>look to the left of me there is a dude covered in popcorn just shoving hands full of it in to his mouth
>old women in the front talking loudly to her husband
>dude who was covered in popcorn starts to snore very loudly
>have to cough to wake him up
>he keeps going in and out of consciousness snoring louder then before
>finally get him in to a quiet snore to enjoy the movie
>all the coughing i have done has made me unable to stop
>have to leave the theatre for a few minutes to control my coughing.
>miss an important part of the movie

>tfw waiting until I'm in NYC next week so I can see it in a real IMAX theatre
Only one Imax near me and it's a fucking Liemax. Fuck that ripoff bullshit

I watched it yesterday at 1pm at the smaller arts cinema and there were maybe 10 other people there, mostly balding bespectacled men who - like myself - were there alone. It was perfect.

There's probably a Virgin/Chad meme in this but I'm not fucking making it.

the theaters near me don't even have imax, just shitty 3D showings

The showtime I bought tickets for got canceled and merged with the 3d screening scheduled at the same time because there weren't enough tickets sold, and the smaller theater still wasn't even half filled. Bad signs.

That's what I'm trying to avoid too. Not filmed in 3-D and it's a vibrant film, possibly the worst fucking conditions for a 3-D film ever and that's all they want to show it in.

I heard people saying non-3d is too bright

Watched it in reald3d, it was too dark and washed out because of that shitty conversion.

Just go to a matinee, faggot.

the best version to watch is the Dolby Cinema option, better picture and sound quality than the Imax setups

>An asshole in front of me ruining the movie with his stupid sounds and wispers
>at the end of the movie, with high voice, i said: that stupid cunt didn't stfu a single moment, uneducated bitch
>he just walks out of the room with a sad face
>Ive never been so proud of myself

...

Moviepass doesn't cover Dolby (or RealD 3D, if you were so inclined). I'll be seeing it in IMAX 2D.

go watch it you fuck

its one the most exciting cinematic experiences ever

prefer a late night view with good audio

the sound design is amazing

I'm waiting for the damn thing to leak online so I can watch it in my chair

Anyone know which part of the soundtrack is playing outside the brothel? Its got a very loud horn sound that kicks in every now and again. It made the city seem massive.

>just booked in to see this tonight
>my e-ticket says I'm the designated shooter

Saw it opening day by myself and almost everyone else in the theater was also on their own.

>tfw American and the entire theater was stone silent even after the end of the kino
All 15 of us were dead fucking quiet. I shouldn't have been eating popcorn.

>watched it on opening weekend with some friends
>8 other people in the entire cinema, all like 40+ years old

Australia is alright sometimes

>watching this in the morning
>ruining the isolation experience, the nighttime aesthetic, and overall vibe
fucking pleb. This isn't some Capeshit you can see at your local googleplex at 11 in the morning and go on with your day, forgetting you even saw it. This is a work of fucking art.

take suicide into serious consideration. Fucking loser.

What's the point of going to the cinema when in a couple of months I'll be able to watch it at home?

Yeah Keen

Saw it tonight and there was a few people visibly frustrated and it distracted the fuck out of me. I want to see it in an empty theater.

if isolation is what you want to feel an 11 am showing at the multiplex is exactly how to do it tbqh

10PM showing or gtfo.

>This is a work of fucking art.

part time

In Melbourne, Australia it seems to be doing very well. Saw it last night; booked out at 9:40pm

>mfw some people thought the movie was too long and started checking their phones
don't those idiots check the runtime beforehand?

shit i even paid for 3D

Cringe. Go back to r/ricksndmorty

Phones need to be confiscated before going into a theater. Tired of these motherfuckers ruining the experience.

I'll watch it when a 4k blu-ray drops. I have been working on my home cinema setup and I am confident I will be able to make a better viewing experience for myself than seeing it in a commercial cinema.

Same here. I Seriously thought the Sinatra hologram was the end of the movie. I thought "Hey! It's over! Beautiful! A+!" But then it kept on going.

Debating on going to the 9:30am showing to be the only one in there.

During IT here in Houston had some spic all drugged up mumbling the whole movie.

I'm going to watch it next week with my sister. I think people are just sad over the amerishoot

>czech republic
>10 people on the opening night
>absolutely no noise whole movie, I had feeling I'm alone
>the cinema manager sat next to me

Sometimes it's a plus living in third world shithole

Watched in IMAX packed theater at north park mall in Dallas so silent that when the movie went into a really silent sequence it made it so much better. Thank god.
