Blade Runner in 30 minutes at my local theater

> Blade Runner in 30 minutes at my local theater
> no friends

Should I go alone?

>not watching a movie alone in an empty cinema
You sir, are a fucking pleb.

Well I doubt it will be empty

>not buying all the tickets
What are you, poor?

>not owning a cinema of your own

Yes it needs to be seen in a theatre.

>watching a 3 hours film at the night shift
you gonna fall asleep

Going to the theater alone is actually a pretty cool experience

yeah
I did, literally no one noticed

NO ONE EVER FUCKING NOTICES

you're never alone with joi

So they don't have a no singles policy? Will you take your falcon?

>Just got asked for the third time to see blade runner
How can you not have friends?
Making friends is literally the fucking easiest thing in the world. Everyone needs friends.
>tfw no gf

What kind of shithole theater allows singles?

what are you going to talk to your friends during the movie just go watch it

there are theaters with no-singles policies?

Bring your dad

Nearly all American cinemas have a no singles policy

what have you ever been to the theater alone? leaving when everyone is with someone else is the worst feeling in the world

It's the kind of film better seen alone.

can't go to the cinema alone, it's not that bad though, usually outside the cinema there might be another one person who want's to watch, and they'll offer to go in with you

Yeah us burgers unfortunately have no-singles policies.

Yeah, luckily I can pass the height test if I stand on my tippy toes

Honestly, I was surprised at how empty my theater was.

I saw it at around 4 pm today.

Literally 4 other people in the entire theater, both of which were older (60+) couples.

Wondered if I was in the right theater at first.

>want to watch Blade Runner
>there is no 2D option
How do you anons with bad sight deal with 3D movies? 3D glasses over regular glasses is an extremely uncomfortable experience.

oh my sweet summer child

Why don't you just bring your gf?

...

>Be me 3-4 years ago.
>Have no female friends
>Go to the cinema alone during the Superbowl
>Literally felt like such a worthless piece of shit
I was such a faggot. What's funny is that now I would have no quarrel about going to see a movie alone.

I did this once, never again. You get weird stares, people ask you "IS THIS SEAT TAKEN" on both sides of you and you'll be surrounded by people that know you're a fucking loser. Girls will whisper. They'll all know, even in the dark of the theatre that you don't belong. They can *smell* you. Theatres are social outings, going alone is faux pas

i saw bladerunner in a noon showing. i think almost everyone was alone, and as soon as credit started to roll everyone around me got up and bolted to the bathroom, me included.

I went to a showing alone but I ran into 2 of my friends there. Maybe that will happen to you too!

This. Matinees are singles showings. Only problem is you might have to deal with noisy kids.

went to a matinee of blade runner today. I was the only person under the age of 60 in the entire crowd. It was kind of cool actually, everyone else in there probably saw the original in theaters

YES

don't miss this perfect opportunity to be fully immersed

>Should I go alone?
I just watched it alone not 15 minutes ago. It was fucking awesome.

Who cares if you go alone? Most of my friends have dipshit taste anyways.

nice social anxiety

Why are people so autistic about this? Watching movies by yourself is great, just do it. Nobody gives a fuck if you are alone, and if you're really that self conscious do it during a matinee

wrong

>contributing money to reddit: the director for a sequel that no one asked for, which never turns out for
the issue isn't being alone, the issue is literally approving a Hollywood aberration by paying money to see it.

I just got back from seeing it alone.

Only problem is, I didn't have anyone to talk about it with after.

Which is why I'm here.

you just described my entire day perfectly

This is no way to start a conversation about it, then... At least mention something you liked/disliked

it's a old Sup Forums troll

Imagine yourself as a confident person blowing off your friends because you prefer to go to the movies alone. This should help you see how ridiculous you're being. Be in charge of your own life, stop letting hypothetical vapid morons control your emotions and your choices.

I don't understand this, I go to nearly every movie alone and I love it.

Enough with this meme. If you're not going on some romantic comedy, there will be other people that go alone

You should go...twice.

It's better alone.
No distractions.

This. The cinema is no place to be talking when you watch a film.

I go to the movies every week and sometimes go alone because either my friends can't make it or we disagree on what to watch; I don't let that get in the way of my plans

I must have gone alone at least 30 or so times over the years and never had an issue. Sure, maybe some people think "wonder why is that guy alone?" like I do when I see someone alone, but the only one making you feel bad about it is yourself from reading too many memes

Main protagonist dies at the end and Dr. Ana is Deckard's Daughter. Enjoy the movie.

nice try, asshat, OP started the thread an hour and a half ago

So, should Blade Runner be seen in IMAX or Dolby Digital?

i wear glasses and no theaters in my area were offering 2d, it pretty much ruined the film for me. i guess ill have to wait for the blue ray to enjoy it

terrible movie, don't bother
