Yes indeed. Interlinked

Quite pungent my dear.

Absolutely

usually the ones that think this are the ones that praise stuff like john wick and tfa so no

The most soul crushing scene in a movie that I can remember in a long time. Kino as fuck.

hehehe boobies
boobies and butte

She's a spic midget in real life.
Also she had a sex scene in a shitty Spanish movie that flopped hard.

>An entire new generation of giantess fetishists are born.

What would an AI's farts smell like?

Scented candles. The flavour, wetness and loudness is yours to choose from the settings menu.

Perfect.

It was better than the original.

Absolute kino.

I actually agree with this.

As kino as it gets.
Especially that fucking scene, as a sad lonely autist it really tears at my soul.

Flick: Prisoners
Movie: Sicario
Film: Arrival
Cinema: Incendies
Kino: Enemy
Charme Discret: Bladerunner 2049

where is this from?

agreed

Yeah, yeah.

Replace Prisoners and Sicario and it's perfect.

Incendies is his best so far.

No it wasn't, but it was pretty damn great.

I rewatched the original yesterday, and I thought it was even better than I remembered.

2049 was better by a long shot.

2049 fucked me up in a way few movies have

Appleseed Alpha

It really was

who is jerk off instructions kino

How long until this comes out on blue ray? I want to watch it in 3D on my Galax 8 Gear VR. It's going to take it to a whole new level.

The mind of the star wars force awaken fan everyone

Thoughts on the soundtrack?

youtube.com/watch?v=CD4H6Tke4F8

Pure Kino, my favourite frame and favourite scene.

I watched the original for the first time and the new one today, they were both good in different ways.
The original's soundtrack was WAY better, for one. This one had way too many generic BWOAAAHs.

Pretty good but not as iconic as the first one.

>JOI

>i love y-

;-;

It's been four hours since I left the theatre.

Still upset.

>this scene

Do you also cry when your old computer is junked?

Yes. I salute it.

>Giant purple lady calls him Joe
>He realises that JOI was just programmed to love him

You don't?

um , yes?

Usually I take my old computers in my car and when I reach full speed I start playing "Amazing grace" on bagpipes.

I then open up the window and slowly push the computer out onto the highway, crying as the bagpipes roar and I say goodbye to my friend.

kino, Sea Wall is the track from the album

Name a memorable line from 2049.

You can't can you. The original has so many

More like discount Lexi Belle.

I really liked this track youtube.com/watch?v=5Jm9ljyy9cE
It really sets a more tense atmosphere, compared to the more melancholic one in the first film

Nope

>Because Villeneuve has submitted to Scott’s director’s-cut pseudo-profundity, he loses the chance to make Blade Runner 2049 mean something in the current moral upheaval, in which dystopia and the distance between humans and apparatchiks are everyday realities. Ultimately, Villeneuve’s sequel is more ultra-hack Scott than visionary Wong.

t. person who would abuse skinjobs

>JOI
>Jerk Off Instructions

I masturbated to that kind of shit multiple times but it took me 12 hours and an anonoymous poster to point it out to figure that out.

You're nowhere near base-line user!

I liked that part where K did a fucking back breaker extremely fast on that one junker.

>this film didn't include social commentary about Facebook so it's shit

the best track*

>things were simpler then...

fucking bane move right there

the fucking skipping elvis music was freaky

Why did they want Deckard dead? They were afraid that he'd lead Niander to the daughter, but once Kay INTERLINKED with him, why not just kidnap him and bring him back to the resistance?

> Blade Runner 2049’s problem stems from more than its nearly three-hour length. It starts with director Villeneuve, a once-promising surveyor of political and spiritual matters (Incendies, Prisoners, Sicario) who is now taking his place in the long history of hackdom, alongside Scott. Villeneuve does nothing with K’s initial thought: “To be born is to have a soul, I guess.” The impassive Gosling lacks the existential cool needed to carry that “soul” line. He’s told, “You’ve never seen a miracle.” But K’s human–replicant opposition, staged as a loud, brutal fight with Dave Bautista as a scarily imposing replicant, doesn’t answer that challenge. Scott made Blade Runner look miraculous; but, except for a couple of extraordinary images (falling snow melting in the palm of K’s calloused hand and a pet dog watching as drones carry his master off into the distance), Villeneuve never strikes the moral terror that has distinguished his best films.

You're out of your comfort zone, /r/movies goon

>that red light between Joi and K
POTTERY

It made me jump with how fucking loud it was in the theater.
Fuck man, I almost wanna go watch this movie again.

4k bluray when
i need wallpapers

>Villeneuve does nothing with K’s initial thought: “To be born is to have a soul, I guess.”
Except that the whole character arc of K was realizing that he could make a difference and do something despite not being born and having fake memories.
He had a soul despite not being born, and he discovers this during this movie, which is his journey.

i made the mistake of watching it on a small screen at my shitty local theature, gunna head out next weekend to see again it in IMAX.

>He realises
No, the audience realises. It would be impossible for him not to know that the Joi units were programmed to love, it was just part of how he played along, because it's even worse to NOT pretend. That was the scene where we were finally told for certain that her love wasn't genuine, and so it becomes clear that he was only ever pretending to have something real, while leading an empty existence of obeying. That was also the moment where he decided to change things, for the first time he chose to NOT do what he was told to do by killing Deckard, instead doing things his OWN way. In his final act he finally stopped pretending and actually DID.

lots of little things made me jump in the film

What a stupid critique. The movie deals with the same exact social alienation one experiences through today's social media. Just because there were no scenes of K checking his Facebook or whatever does not cheapen the film or it's relevance to our current age.

No it's just as good, seriously it's on par and just as good as the original.

it really was

Marketing for the movie was so lame.Movie could earn much more if it was done properly
Those posters were awful

It was cool the way the replicants used their strength naturally and it wasn't just some "only when it's necessary for the plot" device.

>Luv effortlessly opening that seized up blastdoor
>Luv demolishing Coco's brainstem with a casual rap to the back of the head
>The aforementioned backbreaker
>K powering through the wall in the casino

No, lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

by 2049 facebook in its current form will be redundant anyway.

We most likely will all have eye implants to project whatever we want in front of us

Zimmer fucking sucks. The soundtrack was basically Dunkirk's soundtrack with a few synths thrown in.

Johan Johansson could have done a far superior job.

Nah man, skinjobs are QTs. JOIs are just a romance game with fancy holographic tech, though. There isn't much in them.

what are the chances they'll open up the aspect ratio for the blu-ray release?

Fuck no.

>analyze this shot for a while
>become depressed as fuck

Yeah Zimmer needs to stop. The more films he does the more apparent it is he's just recycling the same thing over and over.

Sometimes exceptions.

youtube.com/watch?v=qAnk6f939po

Didn't even know this was Zimmer. Seems he can actually branch out a bit, but choses not to.

Hello, reddit.

to be born is to have a soul

Nope. Still good tho.

Why aren't there any lights on the pyramids?

>love wasn't genuine
Yet another roastie that can't comprehend the idea of love that doesn't involve a fat wallet or a fat cock....
>Yes, but what's in it for ME?

Can I program my Joi to be a giantess or is that an upgrade package?

WHERE THE FUCK DO I GET A COAT LIKE THAT

>design futuristic holo-GF
>give her a-cup breasts

Why though

Eh, still prefer the original. Felt more noir and mysterious. 2049 felt like a cheap imitation.

question

what was all the wasteland outside of the main cities? Was this like an old las vagas/new las vagas thing?

I needed a piss and missed 30 seconds, might have been that part

the original had hardly any noir elements to it at all, despite being a noir.

2049 had twice as much mystery to it

dirty bomb was set off in vegas.

>It was better than the original.
Speak for yourself, faggot. If it had a decent script than maybe...

The Gods are dead.

>Skinjobs

It was probably ground zero of the Blackout

I agree and im shocked that the maj of ppl ITT agree with that sentiment.

Original movie had only 1(one) really good scene scene

>It was better than the original.
