Which movie did it best?
Which movie did it best?
Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told
>tfw he never made it out of the abyss
Why can't life be a movie
Passion of the Christ
Twin Peaks
This, but unironically.
i know retards try to make this bullshit fit star wars to make it seem more intellectual, but honestly does it?
Okay. Luke had a mentor. But Abyss(death&rebirth). come the fuck on.
It's also a questionable paradigm to begin with. Joseph Campbell was a Freudian and completely full of shit
lord of the rings
>Freudian
You used that work because it looks like a dick, clearly you have some repressed sexual issues
Harry Potter is probably the best example.
>this hasn't been posted yet
The Oddysey
Beowulf 2?
...
It doesn't exist, Campbell made it up to pedal his Satanic Gnostic worldview
"No!"
soloman kane or conan the barbarian.
...
i would have said MoS -> BvS -> JL but it doesn't seem like they're going to focus on that anymore, although straight up alchemy seems to be the manner through which snyder and co wanted to transform clark
I say Conan the Barbarian since it is my favourite movie and also fits the OP to some extend.
Conan never rejected his fate did he?
tdkr
Star Wars was the most faithful adaptation of the arc since it was basically page-to-page rip off of Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces.
Conan. Agreed.
Is every action scene in the movie like this?
>try and make this fit star wars
Star Wars (or the draft of it we see on screen anyway) was literally written with this in mind. Lucas was a big fan of the book "The Hero with A Thousand Faces" and Joseph Campbell.
I'm trying to think of a scene where he is lamenting his fate or questioning his path but I can't really think of one.
What video game is this?
There as no resurrection.
LotR you retards
