What if you found out your waifu was an evil kamen rider and she double crossed you to get a stronger form?
Aaron Garcia
Interesting twitter post here discussing the number of key animators per episode for recent animes. Especially since we talked about the production struggles RT is facing with RWBY.
Reposting because I posted this in the last thread at a bad time. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Raven having future vision powers?
Angel Smith
It's fine; I'm used to girls betraying me to get stronger forms I really need to stop hanging out with main characters

>She has the same portals as Cinder in Volume 3.
Why do people keep bringing this up? They have the same portals because RT weren't gonna make two different sets of portals when they can just resize and reuse one.
Gavin Thompson
Why are you comparing 2D animation to 3D? It's obviously going to be different.
Adam Fisher
looks sick as shit how is Kamen rider Ex Aid I didnt watch it yet since I thought the designs were weird is it any good?
Aiden Rivera
It's pretty damn good so far.

I like Canipa Effect's videos on different animation studios, especially the one for Studio Polygon.
Makes sense, ice skating must be incredibly hard to animate, and when its the core of the entire show its rather hard to skimp on And yeah, it really puts some perspective on RWBY. It makes a lot of sense, one of the other possible inspirations for her character is Morrigan, the goddess from Irish folklore said to foresee great battles and to fly above them as a crow (which fits with her knowing when to intervene to save her family). Although I am a little annoyed Raven's symbol is the mirror of Qrow's (or at least that's what we assume, and I wouldn't trust Qrow or Yang as evidence on this for different reasons), I have a theory that Qrow's symbol was heavily inspired by Ozpin to the point he literally integrated Ozpin's gear motif into his name to create the gear and wing look. Having Raven's be the same is a little strange considering her clear disdain for Ozpin, and raises some worrying implications about their induction into Beacon

True, but a lot of modern 2d animation projects do make use of computer assisted drawing and animation tools to some degree. It mainly was a sort of a reference point since there's not nearly as many 3d animation shows out as 2d.
The clips of seen posted of it on social media are pretty darn smooth I'll give them that.
Dominic Gutierrez
I want Cinder to give me the most disgusted look imaginable.
Easton Davis
Not really as you're also ignoring a lot of the context of japanese animation. Most anime studios definitely are much smaller than RT with exceptions being the bigger ones and even then it's hardto say if those have as big offices as RT does. They also have to make it within a smaller timeframe RT has which also includes things like recording and PR.
Connor Morgan
>Jaune ever having a Boner about Pyrrha Weiss is still alive and kicking although I guess you could say most respect for her intellect is pretty dead.
Aiden Ross
Oh. Yeah. I remember the Morrigan thing coming up before.
>Although I am a little annoyed Raven's symbol is the mirror of Qrow's (or at least that's what we assume, and I wouldn't trust Qrow or Yang as evidence on this for different reasons),
I think that's based upon Yang drawing it on the board during her exposition dump to Blake in Volume 2. Although I can understand the lack of trust in that.
>I have a theory that Qrow's symbol was heavily inspired by Ozpin to the point he literally integrated Ozpin's gear motif into his name to create the gear and wing look
Seems like a logical assumption. He's basically his second-in-command.
> Having Raven's be the same is a little strange considering her clear disdain for Ozpin, and raises some worrying implications about their induction into Beacon
Yeah... Are you saying they might have been brainwashed or something? Either way, here's a thought. Sacrifice might be Raven's theme. Which is all about the singer's decision that they aren't going to be the sacrifice for someone else's plot, which would fit Raven's neutrality in the Ozpin and Salem conflict. Perhaps her being sent to work for Salem, possibly under Ozpin's orders, was the intended? And she happened to survive it and decided she was done with both sides? So, the symbol was she represented her when she was working with them or something? And that's why Yang knows it? I don't know.

Jaune is going to rush the Schnee mansion, fight his way to Weiss, punch Whitley and beat her father in a duel then he and Weiss are gonna run off to join back up with RNJR. Jaune is gonna hotwire Jacques' favorite car because he learned that from his sisters and they're gonna drive to the nearest church so Weiss and Jaune can get married.
This is what I actually want to happen in the story and it's not just my personal fantasy that I want to happen to me.
Cooper White

Jose Moore
I actually hated that part of the episode, because it was so hard to hear her over the music. I maybe understood like, 2 words...?
Was it just me? Did anyone else feel that way?
Gabriel King
We have five episodes left. Don't start gloating yet.
Sebastian Ross
I dunnow, she may leave the mansion but leave Atlas? Weiss doesn't seem to be the type to know a thing or two on how to sneak out of borders.
Kayden Wright
I doubt Raven ever worked for Salem (she doesn't seem the type to let people go willingly) but I do think there's something skeevy going on with the Branwen's being accepted into Beacon when Qrow quite literally couldn't tell a skirt from a kilt I'm getting this feeling of "Vale Man's Burden" from the whole thing, that some brave young Hunters found these poor lost feral children (actually Raven and Qrow on a scouting mission) who they sent back to Beacon to train and civilize. It wasn't until Yang was born that Raven put it together and realized they were being asked to leave their old families behind, and she responded badly. Qrow though, he took inspiration from Ozpin and started hero worshiping the man Also it doesn't help that Raven might be a Faunus judging by her literally feathered hair, so add some literal "tame the wild animal" stuff in there
Daniel Allen
Surprisingly good. It's another Gaim situation where the goofy suit designs are usually completely non-indicative of the show's tone. Shit got dark real fast.
Caleb Morales
No one expected Whitley to show his true self after 5 minutes of screentime either. Or that Yang would get her new in her first scene of volume 4, followed by putting it on the next episode. No one thought Weiss' concert would happen so early, and be only a small event.
5 episodes is enough to send Weiss, Yang, and Blake toward Haven academy.
John Harris
That and she'd most likely seek refuge with the Academy/Army. What she said is true, if any of this shit goes public Jacques lose all control of the situation. Weiss summoning the Knight, wrecking the mansion and surrendering to the Atlesian authorities would be one hell of a messy way of going public Plus it would be a good way to establish the leadership of Atlas as sympathetic outside of Ironwood, even if it is just them seeing the value of a potential Schnee heir owing them a favour
Evan Thompson
sweet Ill watch that as soon I get home from work then
Cameron Allen
Why is there a draw thread in ever board now?
Luis Miller
I know you're probably right but good god I hope you're wrong They all deserve their own separate plots but Yang especially deserves one. They've had one waiting in the wings since before this shit started with the Yellow trailer, and Yang still hasn't moved down that path
Daniel Sanders
Weiss crumbled pretty quickly in front of her father, all things considered. I was expecting after he dropped a bunch of "we" and "us" and "our" for her to fire back with something like "it was never about us, it was always about YOU" or something.
Jayden Wilson
And she'll ditch you for someone hotter.

Grayson Butler
>I doubt Raven ever worked for Salem (she doesn't seem the type to let people go willingly)
That's fair. Although there's the issue of trying to track down someone who can apparently be halfway across the world in an instant, assuming her portals allow her to go from Anima to Sanus. But yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from there.
>but I do think there's something skeevy going on with the Branwen's being accepted into Beacon when Qrow quite literally couldn't tell a skirt from a kilt
Yeah... It's hard to tell what's comedy and what shows Qrow was in way over his head.
>I'm getting this feeling of "Vale Man's Burden" from the whole thing, that some brave young Hunters found these poor lost feral children (actually Raven and Qrow on a scouting mission) who they sent back to Beacon to train and civilize. It wasn't until Yang was born that Raven put it together and realized they were being asked to leave their old families behind, and she responded badly. Qrow though, he took inspiration from Ozpin and started hero worshiping the man
Sounds plausible. And sad. Neither of the Twins came out better for that.
>Also it doesn't help that Raven might be a Faunus judging by her literally feathered hair, so add some literal "tame the wild animal" stuff in there
Well, it would definitely be nice some more Faunus racism in the show proper. Although, I have to point out that Qrow talks about the Faunus in a way that is rather distant for someone whose twin sibling is one. I mean, they are kind of estranged, but that always seems weird to me when that idea is brought up. Although that's probably more on the writing than the people theorizing. So, sorry about that.
Adrian Wood
She's only pretending to be helpless. She's gonna secretly train her fighting and summoning then pull an Iroh.
Nolan Roberts
No lie, I'd drop the show like a bad habit. You can't butcher a character arc that badly and expect someone to take you seriously.
Christian Fisher
I hate the fact I can already see it really I bet we just skip right to the end of her re-training with her dad, wearing her new outfit, and he gives her the keys to an offroad modified Bumblebee and tells her Qrow spotted Ruby heading for Haven Fucking hell, I actually enjoy this show but that would really hurt me deep
Tyler Reed
Yang was raised differently.
Adam Lewis
But they already did. She already put on the arm.
I'm not even going to get started on Weiss'
Isaiah Roberts
>she's only pretending to be helpless
She's actually pretty helpless right now. Considering her father and everyone in his pocket is going to be watching her like a hawk and she has literally zero resources or allies now that she's been cast aside, there's not a lot she can do on her own right now.
Ryan Clark
>I'm not even going to get started on Weiss' Get started. Do it faggot.
Josiah Green
>Qrow distant about Fauna Nah. He clearly is pro-fauna from the WoR.
If anything, since Ozpin seems slightly stmphathetic to fauna, there's good reason Qrow would believe him.
Chase Hall
Hey shh. She sleeping.
Nicholas Gray
Eh, its fine, I'm still not sold on the idea that Raven is a Faunus. Well, more accurately, I'm not sold on the idea that Raven is GENETICALLY a Faunus. We have literal animal transformations here, who's to say that if you keep up the transformation for too long some of the characteristics don't bleed across? When they zoom in on Qrow's crow form, you can even see a longer feather that maps to his cloak, is it really so implausible that Raven has picked up some feathers from her time spent as a bird? Perhaps that's the true origin of the Faunus, and why their genetics are so bizarre; they evolved from people with such a talent for animal transformation their animal traits blended with their human forms. Over the years the magic technique was lost but the animal parts remained
Jose Myers
Well, yeah. He's pro-Faunus. But not in a way that comes off as a personal thing. At least, that's how it came off to me? I don't know. I probably worded that badly. Sorry about that. But yeah, Ozpin definitely seems sympathetic to Faunus, and those from outside the kingdoms, as shown by his conversation with Blake from early Volume 2.
Luke Price
>forgetting about based Ironwood coming to the rescue Weiss has allies, and it'll be sweet to watch as she eventually takes the battlefield against her own blood since I can bet Jacques will ally himself with Salem out of greed.
Jayden Rivera
I just wanted to let you guys know that I fantasize about Weiss being a trap because she's so flatchested. And when I become a better artist, I dream of making porn of trap Weiss. but I'm not into futa
Eli Ortiz
Klein and Ironwood will help her get to Haven. Not Winter. She probably died during the time skip.
Josiah Cruz
So she put on the arm, that doesn't do shit for her PTSD and other issues. No one wants season 4 Korra all over again, having Yang just sit and be depressed wouldn't do her arc any favours either What needs to happen is for Yang to strike out into the world on her own terms, with her own motivation. Not to help Ruby, not to save Blake, but to go and do something that Yang Xiao Long wants to do That I have to be hopeful for even the most basic display of autonomy from a character is a sad sign of how little I trust the writing at this point
Caleb Phillips
Just use the excuse they use everytime
"It was a legend/fairy tail from long ago which is why this shit happens."
Expect that to be their explanation for the next few random crap.

You can have sex with your waifu whenever you want. The only catch is your cock shrinks 20% every time you do. If you start with 6 inches, it would be 4.8 inches after one fuck, 3.84 after the second time, and a mere 3 inches after the third time. After 8 fucks, you'd be down to a single inch. Dunno if she'd even let you fuck her that much with a pecker that small though.
Brandon Hernandez
Why do people keep saying Winter is going to die? I know her VA is expensive but do people not realize the best way to save money on her is to do what they're doing now, and just not have Winter show up? Shes got a job that takes her away from Atlas for months at a time, its not difficult to justify her absence from the story, but to kill her off means writing that death scene, animating that death scene and paying said expensive VA to voice that death scene. The best thing the can do with Winter right now is nothing at all
Brody Phillips
Who are the (((Chosen))) of RWBY?
Thomas Morris
Define sex.
Landon Cook
>I can bet Jacques will ally himself with Salem out of greed.
Even RT couldn't achive such levels of shity writing.
Could they?
Jose White
It's not only because of her VA. It's because of her connection with the bitch Sheena. Winter designed by her, and meant to be voiced by her. But then Monty died and RT kicked Sheena out. They had to change Winter, and then add Whitley instead.
Colton Taylor
Because Winter was going to be Sheena's character and RT wants to cut as many ties with her as possible.

Holy crud. That's a thing? Jesus, user. I never would have noticed that. That's impressive, kudos to you. That seems plausible. Especially since they can't be explained by science to well.
>Perhaps that's the true origin of the Faunus, and why their genetics are so bizarre; they evolved from people with such a talent for animal transformation their animal traits blended with their human forms. Over the years the magic technique was lost but the animal parts remained
I could see it. Heck. My theory for the Faunus origin was that they were once animals with aura, like Zwei or something, that somehow got "uplifted" through some combination of Dust, human aura, and magic. Hence the compatibility, and similarity, with humans against all logic. But definitely was thinking along the same line of magic being involved.
Wyatt Ramirez
Why do people keep saying Sun will die?
Basically, everyone finds the point of aide characters should mainly be used to develop team RWBY instead of being theor own characters thus their deaths is neccessary for the main characters to become "better" instead of normal character development.
Anthony Campbell
They've already cut those ties. The only time I've ever heard Sheena's name crop up in connection to RWBY has been this general. Literally nowhere else discusses her And even if she helped design Winter, she's clearly such a different character now Sheena would be quite literally laughed out of the court room
Joseph Adams

Ignore them. It's the same idiots who keep saying that Miles hates Blake and writes her badly because Arryn left him.
>Why do people keep saying Sun will die?
He's the only character in RWBY's age group as of right now that didn't get a new outfit. They aren't even bothering to properly animate his weapon.
Bentley Russell
This is the Schnee estate we're talking about. Every square inch of the place is probably covered in security measures and guards.

Logan Russell
So what are the chances of Ruby actually developing?
Also what exactly is the point of JNR at this point. They ars still usless and so far have no ties to the actual plot.
Benjamin Reyes
>Ghira >Giving something to someone he doesn't like and doesn't want around.
I thought people were saying Sun was going to die because he didn't get new clothes? Because its not like RT went to the trouble of making a new model for him in Maya or anything >I never would have noticed that Its a little hard to see, but if you look on his head, there's something flapping in the breeze that's too long too and smooth to be a feather. For me, it depends on if she has a talk with Jaune about what she saw him do in the forest. Has talked to anyone about seeing Pyrrha die?

Frankly, as much as I love the gun chucks, they were far too complicated for their own good.
