How is he not dead from cancer, if he's been perpetually sun burnt for the last 20 years?

How is he not dead from cancer, if he's been perpetually sun burnt for the last 20 years?

he probably had cancer, but Steven cured it without realizing

Superior Murdercock Genes

After a while of constantly being sun burnt, you just naturally take on the color. It's called tanning, and not everyone tans brown.

Rose cried during sex and her healing tears saved him.

It's not sunburn. Observe Greg in Lion 3: Straight to Video and Three Gems and a Baby - normal complexion before Steven's born, perpetual pink burn lines after.

When Steven was born, Rose went up like a small supernova and permanently turned all of Greg's exposed skin pink.

>Rose went supernova after dying

Yeah, but it's repeatedly stated by the creators whenever they are ask how Rose died "Is she dead?", quite smugly, so I reckon there's going to be a further twist on that plot facet. Other than being part of steven of course.

I would've hedged a bet on Rose's personality living on within Greg, and him actually being aware of it to some extent, but that'd have made Pearl's wet dream/nightmare on Rose/Greg some very early foreshadowing.

>Rose could come back in the future

This is going to play out like Luna coming back in Cassern Sins, isn't it?

I didn't say Rose died. I said when Steven was born, she emitted a blinding flash of light and radiation which turned Greg pink.

DUDE I LITERALLY JUST STARTED THAT COME ON

Ah. Fair enough. I suppose it'd make for some pretty sweet imagery, and would definitely be thematic to the show.

She also killed three people in the process.

What happened with that?

Luna came back and everyone was excited. Then it turned out that she was a massive cunt, and, as I recall, wound up being the Final Boss.

Collateral damage. It happens in war.

Gems exploding are not collateral damage from war user.

Rose coming back and turning out to be an asshole would be soul-crushing. Do you think Sugar has the nerve to do it?

Did you watch Greg the Babysitter? She's a carefree idiot who's first response when the situation escapes her grasp is violence. She just has a fetish for gems achieving their full potential, growing, and changing like organic life does. Also I guess being pathetic sacks of shit, like organic life does.

...

Yep, everything we've seen of her points to her being the biggest fucking idiot in the show.

She's a big, goofy, lovable idiot.

That murdered at least one person. And imprisoned one of her closest friends.

porn when

"big, goofy idiots" are not functional people in real life and are often bullied and marginalized exactly for those very traits as they are seen as plain idiots.

But they aren't, they're big, goofy and lovable!

But if she were truly an idiot, could she have led her rebellion so successfully?

Calling it, Rose is going to be an asshole and Stephen is going to have to, at the very least, correct her, if not actually defeat her.

See, I figure Rose knew this about herself. So she changed in the most drastic way she could. The fact that Steven would stand against her is fine, as long as he surpasses her.

I could see her going full psycho about it though. "Most Humans want their children to surpass them Steven. Show Mommy what you can do!"

And then Rose dies with a smile on her face and Steven needs so, so much therapy.

>so, so much therapy
why? he would just have killed someone who was already dead to begin with ;^)=

Skin cancer is one of the least dangerous cancers out there

You obviously don't live in Australia.

>halfway through the fight, Rose feels like Steven isn't trying hard enough
>she becomes disappointed with him
>SHE starts actually trying
>she actually nearly kills Steven, all the while taunting him about what a disappointment he is

I suppose if we are going the anime route:
>Rose doesn't stop trying to kill him, but is getting frustrated, she is sure he's stronger then this!
>Suddenly it clicks: Love. Empathy. A big chunk of what she wanted from a human hybrid in the first place.
>A gem is strong for themselves, but a human...
>Attacks Connie, who does her best but she is not ready for this and suddenly Rose has her Sword back.
>Before she can complete her swing she's punched so hard she almost poofs.
>Steven is PISSED.
>Rose laughs like a lunatic, real fight begins.

Well I mean SU is basically an anime already.

>Cassern Sins
do people hated or liked that show anyways?
i remember it being mostly crap but i have some fond memories on it for some reason, maybe the saint seiya feel idk.

I loved it, actually. I like the standalone episodes more than the overarching plot. It was a gorgeous show and the music was beautiful.

Radiation poisoning from the gems

to be fair that would likely just cause skin cancer

which is often the most mild and easy to remove form of cancer

despite what evolutionists will try to sell you, it takes a lot longer than that to die of skin cancer. til long after your genes have already passed or not passed

Rose was an asshole the first time around. Fucking hippie walking around in a wedding dress having sex with dolphins and lions for 2000 years.
