IP's that deserve a Sup Forums adaptation

Pic related

>I want to fug Saphira

I want a Godzilla cartoon that's actually allowed to use the other monsters, and possibly other elements from the films like the different alien races.

Eragon is a shit.

I remember loving these books as a kid then later realizing it was basically a series of bad fanfic.

FĂrnen beat you to it m8

>implying she doesn't secretly crave human seed

This IP doesn't deserve anything but to be buried and forgotten for ever.

Or just an anime

>Implying she would stoop so low as to mate with a Two-Legs Round-ears

...

>Implying a human penis could ever be big and flame-resistant enough.

I ain't saying dragon vaginas shoot fire, but I ain't gonna rule out the possibility.

In the hands of a competent writing crew, you can adapt the franchise into a really cool action cartoon.

there hasn't been a Godzilla anime?
that seems like it should have one years ago

I thought the books were so-so, but I was blown away when the movie made them worse.

Like, they literally didn't say one of the main characters names the entire movie. He just showed up and said "I'm going with you" and nobody objected.

You'd think.
Godzilla mangas exist though.

I still have no idea what this is about outside of SMF porn.

But that can be said about almost any franchise.

its Warframe

Like most fantasy books?

Elves would probably come off as a bit less completely insufferable since you'd actually have visuals to back up the constant claims of otherworldly beauty and perfection. Not sure if it would be enough to offset the constant overbearing smugness and hypocrisy though.

...

Since you gave an IP with dragons, I'll do the same.

I'd love to see this.

You do know that a Godzilla anime movie is in production, right?

it's Still in beta

Maybe it's like mares. They're designed to take horsedick, but it doesn't stop humans from sticking theirs inside.

Are there any sexy dragons in these books?

I haven't read them in a while but I think so, I also remember dragon incest.

Sweet.

Fucking obligatory

...

Can only work as an anime.

Criminy, what a read.
I'd almost love to see a complete adaptation of this series just to see all of this in motion.

I really dont care

Ill take anything

keeping with that theme
I didn't think they were too good though, I think I stopped after the 3rd when they kill off the mc

Those books are shit man

I swear im not into Warhammer but the fucking art is amazing

Only this character would work for Catoons

next movie is an anime

The movie sucked, I was so dissapointed. I liked the books, but I don't think it needs a cartoon. A comic I can see, but it does it's best alone and as a book.

Aren't the books just medieval copypastes of the good Star Wars trilogy but with dragons instead of lightsabers?

That guy genuinely doesn't know what he's talking about
other the then ending being dissapointing

I have the Vs. Space Godzilla manga downloaded although I don't remember where from.
Confirmed:

It would be called

Vlad,Vladd, and Vladovsky

Then explain the cyborg.

Fucking when? I will never stop waiting.

I'm an oldfag and I remember when Eragon was the Internet's punching bag in terms of terrible books to make fun of. There were entire websites dedicated to dissecting that book and how shitty of a person Paolini was.

Then Twilight came out, and even later Fifty Shades of Grey, and suddenly Eragon didn't look that bad.

It not a cyborg/robot at all, just made of metal and powered by magic

>Implying the book didn't talk about spells to change physical apperances
>implying Eragon couldn't change his dick with magic to be big enough to pleasure saphira

Actually finish the damn trilogy this time

its getting a second film isn't it?

Eragon is a bad fantasy novel.
Twilight is a bad romance novel.
Fifty Shades of Gray is a bad erotic novel.

All we're missing is science fiction and comedy. No, wait; the litany of post-apocalyptic dystopian coming-of-age young-adult series probably count under science fiction.

Hunger Games?

So basically Ed, Edd, and Eddy but in the Stalker universe? I'd watch it.

Hunger Games or that Divergent series are definitely scifi
HG isn't that bad tho, Mockingjay was just a shit end

Divergent?

Don't forget the rape-furries and the war crimes.

>cute sisters of battle doing cute things
I can dig it. With a comedic side story of a sister of battle mistakenly made into a Dreadnought

This is boring as fuck.

Discworld.

All of it.

One season, one book - 26 episodes each.

Put some ATLA animators and character designers and combine them with Venture Bros crew.

What you guys think?

Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, Uglies, The Giver... There are plenty out there. The genre became more and more popular after HG and Divergent's movies, but obviously the films have begun to wear their welcome. Too bad your local B&N will be flooded with those titles for years, just like how they're STILL flooded with supernatural romance novels in the wake of Twilight.

ANY FUCKING TIME. 13 FUCKIN ISLANDS. DO IT YOU BASTARDS. MAKE IT ALREADY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Blanc's shit does not count. With the cgi now this would be kickass.

The Giver is way older than all the others you listed.

Because the movies fucking suck! And should never have been live action, or movies.

Wait a minute.
Aren't Divergent, Hunger GAmes, and Maze Runner all connected? and if not
How come?

I was going to say the same thing
>one of these things is not like the others

This

I read the first one years ago since it was at my school's library.
they actually kill the mc from the first book off?

The first two books were pretty good, polar bears and dragons and all that.

Then the author lost his shit and the series went completely insane.

>Aren't Divergent, Hunger GAmes, and Maze Runner all connected
No, other then falling into the same popular genre

It'll never happen, but I'd kill to see this. Although live-action would work, in all honesty. I was just thinking about these books earlier today for some reason.

Also, The Book of Dust fucking when? It's been fucking years since Pullman announced it.

DISCWORLD

NOW WE ARE TALKING.

True, but it did have a movie recently in the wake of Hunger Games and Divergent. You may not remember it because it was kind of a box office failure.

All I know is that it had my 3DPD waifu, Taylor Swift. She played The Giver's daughter, Rosemary. And then she died.

They're all disconnected and in separate universes. You'd think that Lionsgate would have tried to connect Hunger Games and Divergent together, but I guess they didn't think about how it would print money.

This.
I'm honestly surprised it HASN'T happened yet. Aren't they still writing Warriors books?

He gets better.

but we already have several animated Star Wars adaptations

I think they kill him in the third and then
bring him back with the ability to turn into a polar bear
what I gathered from wikipedia

This shit would make a great cartoon series. >Mostly girls for that GURL POWA bullshit. >Multicultural (white girl, irish girl, black girl, eastern dude)
>badass magic but its all stuff that would be easy to animate
>great characterization

...

>26 episodes per book

Jesus, is each episode 5 minutes long? Discworld books aren't that dense.

Maybe 6 to 8, depending on the length of episodes, I would say.

>Discworld
My nigga. Rest on peace Terry Pratchett

...

Pictured: Eragon, Fragon, Gragon, and Hragon.

This shit right here. Literally perfect for a cartoon adaptation.

I should find these somewhere and read them all, it's been ages.

You'd watch it, you'd sit through every terrible pun, if it was an accurate adaptation.

Too many books
but I liked the ones I read
also reminded me a lot of the guardians of ga'hoole series

God fucking damn it.

He dies in the third one, then comes back in the forth after getting his soul merged with Ingavar, and also becomes a dragon kind of.

I think Hercules' animated series kinda covered a lot of this.

Is this series any good?

Put some filler in the middle just for keks.

Like a beach episode.

Or we could go for 12 episodes for season, like Korra.

Apparently it's getting one soon, but I'm not sure if they'll go through it.

Why is it that most Sup Forums material would work better as anime rather than a cartoon?

holy hell

>Literally Florida
Of all the real world places to base your fantasy map on.

I feel like the first book is a lot better than the two that came after, but I'd be interested to see it animated.

From this thread? Which ones?

...

anime covers more genres then most popular cartoons
generally speaking

That ending left me feeling very hollow. Palloni is a hack.
Did get me to read better fantasy authors though and the series started strong.

Nigga those have WAAAY too many adult jokes to be a kids show.

>Tit for tat

It's basically "What if everyone had Dragons during the Napoleonic Wars."
The first couple are bitching, but I haven't read the entire series yet.
