I feel like in terms of comedy and quirk, season 3 easily rivals the original, and even outdoes it.
In terms of drama there's a lot less, I'd say Dougie and the statue is one, so is all of Part 18. In terms of surrealist sections, Part 8 is incredible, but I honestly don't know if I find it as effective as I find the surrealism of Season 2 or FWWM.

The dream motif is the most misunderstood concept of season 3, there is a dream but it is nobody's dream. Cooper isn't the dreamer, Laura isn't the dreamer, nobody in the actual show is the dreamer, there's nobody that wakes up and shuts it all down.
