>b-but the German economy will collapse after Brexit >British companies will thrive and take on the World
Meanwhile in reality: Germany just took over one of America's largest corporations. They now control food supply across much of the globe. This takeover alone is worth 2.5% of the entire UK GDP lmao!
Is this why Merkel is pushing CETA, TTIP and TiSA so hard?
Landon James
I'm actually surprised the US regulators aren't making more of a stink about this buyout. Apparently a diversified agri-industry is less important than a diversified satellite cable industry.
The FTC and the FCC were ALL OVER Ecostar when they tried to buy DirectTV.
Ayden Adams
Great plan. We poison your food and then we sell you the medicines.
Dominic Powell
Meanwhile in France: HURRRRR MONSANTO ARE CRIMINALS HUUUUR
Logan Martinez
>I'm actually surprised the US regulators aren't making more of a stink about this buyout THis means that enormous lawsuits and investigations about illegal practices of Monsanto incoming. This gold gonna turn into turd. Cant outplay crypto-jew.
Samuel Nguyen
There was a suprising lack of Jewish handrubbing in this deal, tell me Israel has a 51% stake in bayer or something
> Monsanto >the subject of many a blue-pill conspiracy nb
David Myers
Good luck keeping our GMOs out of your supermarkets now bub. Enjoy your autism, diabetus and cancer epidemics.
Jack Wood
I can't wait for the increased dosage of estrogen
Eli Hernandez
Monsanto always spooked me.
What does this all mean?
Christian Long
>our
Not anymore though
Kevin Brown
I mean this literally doesn't change european regulations concerning GMOs. And Bayer isn't stupid enough to try undermining them
Benjamin Jenkins
MONSANTO fits right into the globalists agenda. They make and patent crops. You have to buy them each year at a higher price. Say if you need 2 tons of seed for your fields. If you buy 4 tons and save 2 for next year they will fine the fuck out of you etc..... dirty as fuck company with no competition.
Oliver Bennett
how did they even get a loan almost as large as all their assetts
Gabriel Campbell
This is crazy conspiracy theory talk. They don't poison food. The only downside is crops become so genetically similar, if they happen to have a weakness to a fungus etc it spreads quickly across all plantations. But their seeds bank is massive and contains every genetic variation you can imagine. In an event like that, farmers can easily replace their crops with a new strain.
This kind of European attitude makes me think German control is a good thing. In the UK we have a 10 year debate over whether or not to build a fucking airport runway because of muh pollution and muh greenbelt or something. Fracking has been made ridiculously expensive because the government wants to force companies to pay a compensation to "local communities" and not an inch of new motorways have been built since the 80s because of NIMBYs.
Godspeed Germany.
Daniel Edwards
Look into how many of Obama's appointments have Monsanto ties.
Brandon Gomez
Butthurt remainer detected haha :^)
Jacob Gray
you don't have to buy GM crops though
Bentley Morgan
Holy shit
That user was right
The EU is quite unironically trying to integrate the Middle East into the Union. They're literally trying to restore Roman borders
Chase Scott
>Monsanto >middle east Wait what?
Alexander Martinez
Nice proxy Heinz, try again later please and use a Turk/German flag next time.
Also I'd uninstall Hola if I were you.
Juan Gomez
>They make and patent crops. You have to buy them each year at a higher price. Believe me, it's still cheaper than going through the uncertainty of a new beetle coming in from Madagascar and fucking your entire crop up or a slightly harsher winter. Farmers have a choice of not buying their seeds from Monsanto and yet they prefer to do just that.
Josiah James
Banks are desperate to lend money, with negative interest and bond return, they can't park their money
Kayden Adams
I 100% agree. We have the same shit here, with an airport as well or even worse, with a dam, which would have been useful for all the locals but thanks to muh ecologists (including your "No Borders" fags) they reported or cancelled it, idk.
About the Germans… too bad their immigration policies suck on the other hand.
Nathan Baker
>And Bayer isn't stupid enough to try undermining them This. Bayer is generally trying to maintain an image as respectable company. They won't be trying to undermine those laws any time soon
Oliver Reed
Enjoy your ridiculous surplus of soy beans and corn Europe.
The problem with that line of thinking is that if your field is next to a farm that does use monsanto round-up ready beans the company could sue your balls off. Why? because you may have their beans in your field. Especially if you save some of your harvest for replant. Cases like that kill the yeoman farmer in the US.
Brody Perry
>My government isnt stupid
Wait, did you really just say that?
Josiah Flores
Any countries that manage to dodge the GMO jew will be able to market their products at a premium in the future.
Dominic Walker
>mfw Germany and my region now owns Monsanto
top kek
Eli Ward
No. I said Bayer, a corporation, isn't stupid.
Christian Hill
Verpiss dich du scheiss Pille.
Blake Taylor
good
power back to yurop
american degenerate imperialism will end soon
William Cox
your fucked then NZ is GMO free
Brody Miller
> muh ecologists are awful go spend some time in China or anywhere outside the 1st world really shitty water and air are breddy much the worst thing about shitholes, not crime, not poverty, but just how greasy and tired you are all the time
Jace Rivera
>Enjoy your ridiculous surplus of soy beans and corn Europe. Good. That means the price of ration for beef will drop and the common pleb will be able to afford prime cuts just like in America. No more ASDA "frying steaks" with shoe sole texture.
Henry Lee
>Bayer >government >a company >government SHART
Matthew Fisher
>Germany and my region now owns Monsanto germans only make up a 1/5 of the shareholders
Blake Price
Is it possible that Bayer could be the more humane corporate entity of the two?
Jayden Martinez
>You have to buy them each year at a higher price. No, they could just not buy them and plant their regular crops (ignoring legal fuckery). It's just that the engineered crops produce so much more that the only way you could stay in business is by letting people pay extra for the "NOT GMO I SWEAR" label.
Also the reason they need to buy new seeds every year is because those crops lose their desired properties after a year.
Bentley Myers
>after a year. fuck *after a generation
Anthony Sanchez
They are, in many regards.
Justin Peterson
>go spend some time in China or anywhere outside the 1st world really Germany has a massive amount of industries, motorways and airports everywhere and the air quality there is just fine. Same for the US (apart from LA).
Charles Barnes
Yes of course cutting some damn trees and killing a few ducks or boars would have caused a massive pollution cloud all over our country. Fuck you.
Thomas Long
Many small farms are saying fuck that and are going into business somewhere else. The demand for grass fed meats and locally produced foods is growing steadily.
Chase Martinez
There was an user a couple of months ago who (as he claimed) is a part of a geopolitics-related think tank and explained the end goal of the EU and why exactly are they flooding it with so many refugees.
They're basically trying to get a reason to declare a war of liberation for the Middle East and, considering that it already contains a lot of its citizens inside it, directly "liberate" it by integrating it as a member state. Think about it, not a single country worldwide would object it. It's basically like Bulgaria being in a constant civil war and half of our population being spread inside the EU, pressing EU leaders to finally end the war and "liberate" it.
Moreover, he said that they would want to cultivate those lands and rise their productivity, so he suggested we invest money in EU stocks related specifically to infrastructure, agriculture and electricity.
All the while establishing a unified police force, as requested by the civilians against the refugees.
Think about it, it makes fucking sense. Holy fuck, those kikes are genius
Julian Thompson
yes and Ruhrgebiet is a shithole everyone but chavs and turks avoid > just fine what are regulations
Jose Flores
So now there's going to be aspirin in my corn isn't there?
David Taylor
>grass fed meats m8 why the fuck would you not have grass feed meat america is a huge country for farming
Ian King
>afford prime cuts just like in America Prime cuts that taste like shit.
That also means you'll have plenty of "refugee" feed. Have fuck dealing with that nightmare.
Gabriel Reyes
>Enjoy your ridiculous surplus of soy beans and corn Europe. Knowing our retarded as shit farmers, that could actually become a problem. They already do the same with milk
>produce way too much milk >cry to the government that you need more subsidies >government gives it to them >they just invest it into more milk production >next year >repeat
Christopher Gray
Wasn't Monsanto one of the biggest companies in the world ?
I didn't know Bayer was that big.
Carter Clark
>Ruhrgebiet literally the wealthiest metropolitan area in the world
Oliver Garcia
There's a reason for regulations. >yes and Ruhrgebiet is a shithole everyone but chavs and turks avoid That's because mining got phased out though and that there are no new jobs.
Benjamin Jones
no, BW and Bavaria are the richest regions of Germany alone. And Germany is by far not the richest Euro region
Julian Long
nestle is actually the biggest in the world in terms of ag
Colton Nelson
you cunts are actual bitches for subsidies for milk nz has not had any subsidies or tariffs on our milk for 30 years and because the market has gone down your shitty farmers won't go out of business and my farmers have to suffer even though we have superior farming
Brayden Rivera
not even close. monsanto makes gmo seeds. a lot of overhead and little they can charge since natural seeds are cheap.
also germany last figures they released are 0.4% gdp growth second quarter 2016. and douche bank doesnt have the precious metals they claim to have. so it looks like they are dying
It is more cost effective to feed a large amount of cattle with the corn surplus than dedicate and manage huge swaths of pasture. If you go to the midwest you will see miles of corn, because it is paid for by the government so you know you'll make money off of it.
I know its fucked, and more people are starting to realize that its fucked.
Welcome to American industrial agriculture!
Thomas Watson
Don't blame me, I would have told those retards that I will save them ONCE as to not endanger the food industry but if they fuck it up again it's their own fault.
Juan Hernandez
>I don't understand why angriculture gets subsidised by the government
Its going down since years. Worst Metropolitan region in west germany.
Ian Hill
>because of muh pollution and muh greenbelt or something. Fracking has been made ridiculously expensive
You realise indecision and "green" policies are a hallmark of continental politics?
Especially in Germany, "Die Gruene" are actually a credible influence in their politics, Germans despise nuclear energy and fracking, and the German government has invested ridiculous amounts of money into creating windfarms.
Dylan Price
>because it is paid for by the government so you know you'll make money off of it. holy fuck america you and german are autistic with your farming. NZ all farming subsidies have gone and all tariffs on farming imports have gone as well so that our farmers actually become efficient
Oliver Rodriguez
I was putting blame on the farmers, not on the government. I am fully aware why the government subsidizes agriculture, but at some point you have to ask yourself if it wouldn't be better to let part of that sector die off when all they do with those subsidies is to make the problem even more severe.
Elijah Butler
isn't monsanto part of the MIC?
Dominic Wright
No we're not
Jeremiah Torres
Because Monsanto isn't as big as conspiracy theorists would like you to believe, most farmers don't grow their seeds.
Justin Sanders
>Make
They can use regular old seeds the next year.
But oh what's that, their yield isn't as effective?
Welcome to supply and demand
Landon Brown
I remember reading that a significant part of the problem are the sanctions on Russia. And it's not like the farmers can afford to produce less milk
Hudson Perez
Your twat the UK rich elite will do well out this so will all elite around world.
Europe supports the elite .
Brxit is for the small guy and should be supported.
BUY LOCAL ORGANICALLY GROWN AND RAISED FOOD FROM SMALL FAMILY FARMS
Josiah Harris
We can't do that because companies like Monsanto have infested every part of the government with their influence.
If you try and go around them the'll sue your balls off. Solution? Farmers say fuck it and change over to different methods of production. I'm waiting for my orchard to grow so I can start making cider. Fuck pushing dirt to rent from Monsanto
>i don't know how farming works
Jose Jackson
and where do you buy GMO then in nz
Evan Watson
The problem has existed for a lot longer than the Russian sanctions though. And yet we have been producing more and more milk each year
>And it's not like the farmers can afford to produce less milk They would be running their business at a loss due to the overproduction if it wasn't for the subsidies. They cannot even afford to produce the current amount of milk yet they increase the production again and again. Because producing milk is one of the easier things and they know that the government will just bail them out anyway.
Germany has been doing shit like that since ages, check out "Butterberge" for example.
Michael White
You can't afford "organically grown and raised food from small family farms" user, trust me.
Carson Morales
fuck that I'm not rich
Grayson Thomas
>Europoors will soon be Eurofats and mart sharters too
I hope you enjoy high fructose corn syrup in everything you eat and drink
Carson Walker
Either the family farm runs a big deficit or everything is incredibly expensive
Luke Rodriguez
Literally everything you buy is a GMO
Sebastian Allen
Look my chart there is 18.9% Bayer shares owned in the UK.
Germany is just above 20.6%.
Again your a twat.
This is globalist bussines which benfits the elite
Bentley Carter
give evidence
Carson Cook
the difference is that NZ is small, the US not so much. NZ can easily gamble on stuff fixing itself eventually, if the US crashed its agricultural sector the world would have a gigantic problem.
it's just that politicians take it to the retarded max and would rather overproduce by gigantic margins and burn billions on it than risk even the tiniest increase in prices
Blake Reed
you germans should specialise in what you are good at and that is not milk
Carter Williams
Then dig a garden and learn how to hunt.
Noah Martinez
I am poor as fuck and I buy a large percentage of my diet direct from farms in my area. I drive 30min each week to get raw milk, good meat, eggs, veggies, fruit from a couple of farms and I am POOR. I only have $5000 to my name and I work part-time while pursuing other things that may not or do not pay.
Adrian Carter
But every time we do the world gets mad at us :(
Robert Cook
...
Thomas Edwards
Here is the thing, the undeniable truth.
Yes Germany might be a little cucked right now, however our Economy and our people are the most powerful across the world.
I don't think anyone can compete. Especially once you take into account how small our land is and how little people we actually are.
If we were in charge of - for example - the United States of America we could/would easily produce enough ANYTHING for the rest of the world. We could literally supply the rest of the world.
Fuck I love being German
Eli Jones
If you really were good at that, you wouldn't have lost twice
Alexander Cox
Thank you, I do this as well. I cultivate 1/10th of an acre at my uncle's house and plan on setting up a chicken coop and small greenhouse.
Ian Barnes
Does this mean Monsanto's GM food will now be part of our food source because it's a EU company?
Jaxson Green
but free trade is all about specialization if you followed the nz model and copied us you would rape everyone else's car and chemical industries
Angel Rodriguez
Sorry, going to price chopper is a lot easier
Aiden Wood
I already do user, that's why I know that smallhold farming isn't sustainable nor affordable. You know those farmside stalls were your buying your eggs on the cheap? that's coming straight out of the farmers pocket, he's doing that out of a goodwill.
