He's not that good of an actor. I always thought he was great on Buffy and Angel, but seeing her randomly in other things really showed he's kind of one-note.
He's best as the snarky-sidekick wiseguy roles, but he's too old for that kind of thing after Buffy and Angel.
Plus, I think he's a little too in love with cons and fan fucking than serious acting work. But hey, you can make major money doing those things, so more power to him.

I would assume not. My guess is that on the other side of those monsters there was Buffy and her team fighting to reach Angel. All Angel and co. had to do was hold them off until the scoobies fought through. They would have met somewhere in the middle and said something funny. There is none.
