Bump for best girl

youtu.be/YYV5Uyk7Qr8
Cant stop listening to joi's ost

What scene did everybody miss when they had to piss?
I pissed right after he found the horse and got back middle of the next scene.

...

Denis' career is dead. Stick a fork in it.

>sitting in the cafe in the rain trying to drink your coffee while a group of skinjob prostitutes mock and tease you about your refusal to use their services

>Joi's love was artificial, but it was real
>she was the person she was because of K's input
>K realizes this in the giantess scene and that's why he decides you are what you do, in this case human by being human
Is this analysis correct?

Saw it today. Should have ended with K on the stairs. It was his story. Other than that, kino.

You little bitch. I held my piss through the whole thing

CELLS

The two close companions to K and Wallace are named Joi and Luv which are also two of the “fruits of the Spirit” found in the Biblical book of Galatians. There’s a passing, unexplained reference to something called “Galatians syndrome” in the film. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,” the verse in Galatians reads, and then continues, importantly: “Against such things there is no law.”

It really is a shame that American audiences will never appreciate, let alone grasp, how deeply layered this film is.

Anyone got screencaps of Joi's specs? I think it was shown before she was transferred to the emanator

I've lost some of my empathy for the human race

the part where he goes to the genetics lab and looks at the matching DNA with Joi

can we just talk about how kino the music was in this movie?

I already saw it twice. Didn't go to pee in either one.

I think you're right. All Jois were programed the same but not all Jois were his Joi.

...

>bladders so degenerated you can't hold in your piss during a movie.

Downright embarassing

then you were being distracted by your bladder instead of appreciating the kino, its a fair trade off.

Yeah I'm sure he'll be fine

>french subs
Why

link?

What the fuck was his problem?

Best girl coming in

>he decides you are what you do

Yes, which is why he decides to help Deckard and the resistance even though he realized that there was no higher meaning to his existence.

WITHIN CELLS INTERLINKED WITHIN CELLS INTERLINKED WITHIN CELLS INTERLINKED

I didn't drink anything for at least an hour before the movie as I was aware of its length.

Another user mentioned that Josef K (Joe K) is a character from a Kafka story (The Trial) where the character is sliced open "like a dog." K is treated and referenced like a dog throughout the film. It's overwhelming how much shit is in that movie. Even the Cells, Interlinked, and book in K's apartment apparently has some deeper meaning.

Eh, it was fine but there were too many LOUD BOOMING DEEP BASS hans zimmer moments

>mfw didn't feel the need to pee
I was destined to experience kinografiquê greatness

I really like how K shows his robotic combat training in the few action scenes they throw in, like when he's getting surrounded by the hobos in the junkyard, or when he just busts through the wall when he gets caught with Deckard. It's a way of distancing itself from the original, where Deckard is kind of a fuck up, and it's a simple reminder to the audience that the world has gotten that much more brutal

What was that all about when she shed a tear?

blind

Before anyone asks about bees, watch this
youtube.com/watch?v=S75OKnM_BKU

she was perfect.

i was hungover as fuck when i saw it so i was kinda dehydrated and didnt have to pee the entire time

...

Fuck me, that stings.
I don't know why I got it in my head that it was going to be a big opening. Bias, I guess.

I watched the film in the front row only distracted by the bladderlets getting up to piss.

How many times have you seen this movie now lads? Been twice myself, will probably go a third time at some point.

Even in the future 2d is better than 3D

she doesn't like seeing fellow replicants die at the hand of their creator

truly kafkaesque

Anyone else get massively turned on by Luv's dominatrix vibes?

People don't live from good reviews, not to mention that's discouraging for creators and studios to try new things.

Seen it twice and didn't leave for a piss break in either viewing. I usually have to piss a lot too, but made sure i had a pee right before the movie and didn't drink anything during.

I think about it like this...If you have a girlfriend who has an identical twin and we kill your girlfriend, most people would understand that despite her twin being identical replacing your girlfriend with her twin would not make her the same as the girl that was just killed. The experiences you guys shared, the memories you made, etc. would be lost forever. You could only tell her twin about them and build new memories and experiences, but they would never be exactly the same.

Yes but it would have been better if Hans worked in this theme from the original: youtube.com/watch?v=JAwo7DPUFUM

The second trailer for BR2049 uses Johan Johansson's version of it. Shame Denis didn't keep him on.

dude
angels
lmao

>love kills joy
K I N O
I
N
O

>Should have ended with K on the stairs
This
It kind of pissed me off a little that it ended with Deckard, who was a bit of an asshole for letting K there dying alone
Couldn't he wait a few minutes before going inside?

GIV LOV AND JOI GFs NOW!

I'm definitely not one of those people, if I can't pause a movie I'm not gonna take a piss.

Twice
will most likely have to watch "it" next Tuesday as I am taking a girl to the movies and she wants to watch It.

he didn't realize that K was dying

She's too psychotic and sadistic for me

I... I think I want the prostitute skinjob

his problem was he wasn't developed enough so he could be a proper antagonist

I can hold my piss for a very long time, I didn't ever pee when at the theater

It should have shown Deckard go inside and then cut back to K outside.

>Fifty Shades Darker
>$46m

Do people unironically watch those movies?

This parched throat master race

Could have chosen worse desu. It is pretty damn good.

I get the sense she would do anything if someone made her feel special.

damn those guys got torn to shreds by Luv's missiles

So actual robots and thinking machines exist in this world now. Why aren't those used to hunt down replicants? You don't have to go full retard and make a terminator, but something like the robot on K's spinner could easily deal with skinjobs. Hell, why haven't they replaced replicants entirely?

Women

>Hope cucks joy, love kills joy
Whoa
What is Ripley's beef with joy?

good to hear, I might be the last person not to have watched "It" yet.

I haven't either, looks really stupid

K didn't die.

Haven't been keeping up with all the threads last couple of days. Is there consensus on whether the wooden horse was just a horse? Saw some speculation that it was originally carved as a unicorn (for obvious reasons) and the horn broke off at some point.

Twice so far. I plan to go again soon. I also plan to introduce my only friend to BR, we'll watch the first then we'll go see 2049. I don't think I'll ever get tired of that movie.

Motherfucker, how did I not pick up on this? These threads have been something else, all these minor details have massive purpose. Honestly the film was complete 100 percent kino, not even memeing.

we'll see

My whole torso feels warm whenever I saw her, I even had a hard time breathing during one of her scenes

A bigger question is, why aren't more people empathetic towards replicants?

We live in a world where people try to protect fish and insects, where they form attachments to fictional characters, to icons and mascots, and even to inanimate objects.

In reality I don't think replicants would ever have any trouble getting basic human rights.

Is the film worth seeing in Imax?

Yeah I'm pretty sure he died

No clue, but nothing in this movie seems to be an accident so I'm sure there was a reason a horse was chosen.

Twice as well. I teared up the second time when K died

>yfw Luv showed up in her tight pants near the end

They should have reversed the order of the las scenes. It was important to show the girl under the fake snow. But it should have ended with K. They really fucked up the ending.

They should have killed Harrison ford too

He knew he was way off his baseline and had become unstable and needed to be retired

It was a sheep

since to most they are highly useful but dangerous machines. They let people avoid the work they don't have to do now.

Lol, how naive. Blade Runner is actually an optimistic look at how replicants would be treated. I think in reality they would be way more abused. The human race in general is oretty selfish and despicable

That would be lovely, but I think he did.
:(

>shows his wounds
>lies down and stops moving
>Tears in the Rain starts playing
hell be fine

the robotics isn't there yet to make all-purpose slave robots that are as effective and resilient as replicants. It is easier to just copy and modify nature than it is to make a whole new robotics-based androids

I thought it was a bull.

It's better in Dolby Cinema

Dolby > IMAX >>>>>>>>D/Regular screen

apparently they're planning another sequel with Ford going to another country.

He was just taking a snooze. It was an homage to Drive

Yeah, the music is to make sure people understand that he died.

ok user if you wake up tomorrow and your boss with a 100% serious face says that he has fired you and replaced you with a cockroach with a mini keyboard and a top hat how would you feel exactly.

Agree.
It says a lot about a sequel when the audience is rooting for the new protagonist instead of the original one.
