Which of these men would the audience accept for Bond?

If you can only pick one James Bond out of these two men, who would you pick and why?

I'd pick Idris Elba

Why? We are trying to move away from anything too politically correct at this point.

Cavill. The other guy would only work for an old, near retirement Bond.

>old near retirement bond
>implying that wouldn't be kino

They've done the old Bond bit already.

>older out of shape dude
>sculpted by the gods but balding
Cavill is still the better choice by far

You mean Skyfall and Spectre?

cavill because he's too much of a cliché to not be cast as bond

neither.

Its time for an american bond

you mean framfall and sphincter

I always hate this kind of shit because people always say famous guy X should be bond. Bond should be played by someone who isn't already well known, maybe someone semi-known who will then have their career made by the role. It's more refreshing that way and it will need to be if they expect audiences to keep coming back for years on end.

It's time to bring him back

>Implying Tom Hardy isn't the best choice

Dude is officially done. Hasnt done a movie in ages

His voice over in the From Russia With Love video game was hilariously terrible.

got you f-am

Tamron Egerton

Least you didn't say Idris.

>relative unknown
>marvel movie bad guy

Cavill isn't a Chad, he can't play a smooth charmer. He's a introverted pseudo-nerd in the body of Chad.

No matter how you end up looking, if you spend the formative years of your life playing WoW, your social development will be irrevocably fucked for life

>master of the dark arts
>first thing he does when he gets free from his white master is commit crime
>crime is stealing

how did they get away with this

this kino was only 5 years ago

its a meme you fucking autist

Cavill
The other guy is too, doctor who-y

Firth isn't a bad choice. Its just the boring safe choice in my opinion.

Who cares? Where's my Man from UNCLE sequel?

>Guy Ritchie sequel
good luck on that one. Im still waiting on The Real RocknRolla

Ian Fleming wrote Bond as having quit at the end of The Man With The Golden Gun - retired to Station J (Jamaica) with Mary Goodknight, his old secretary from MI6. In the previous three books he'd been poisoned, presumed drowned, lost his memory, brainwashed by the Russians into killing M, and had just had enough after dealing with Scaramanga.

Colin Firth would be great as that (finally) beaten and broken Bond.

Channing Tatum
