Jean? Please let's not go Identity Crisis with this.

The end

That they are divorced means that it already didn't happen.

That's a weirdly nice fratbro for a comic about a nerd.

>I did. On the internet

Jesus. What was the point of the speech bubble

He wants to push their beds together. I've seen this porn

so will you read JLA?

Only thing holding me back right now is the inclusion of batman and lobo.

>Adam Cray

He was the Atom in Suicide Squad

This approach of originals being mentor figures to their legacies has been working out nicely.

Douchey fratboys are boring as fuck. How many cardboard cutout bullies does the realm of fiction need, really? It's actually rather refreshing to see a jock who acts like a civilized person as opposed to a retarded barbarian.

Back in Ostrander's run? The guy that was a fake Atom to lure out the killers of the real Atom who was pretending to be dead and was actually disguised as one of the killers?

>The next Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Could you please not?

The one and only.

Wait, so these are one shots that all are followed up in JLA?

That was kinda nice
I liked it

Thank you OP

oh hey there Ray

Nono identity crisis happened cause they were divorced and she wanted him back.

Him being divorced jump-started her being a villain again.

I thought they were married and she did it cause she wasn't getting enough attention. And I'm not rereading it to find out who's right.

Hopefully this does well. I'm getting this one and the Ray's

yeah

there's some 'writerly' speech tics in here that I hope don't continue--shit that sounds all nice and thematically compelling but no one would ever actually say

Ray and Jean got divorced way back pre-Crisis; Identity Crisis was her wanting to get him back.

Always wished Adam didn't slip into limbo. We think he'll be important, or is it just an Easter egg?

Anyone got link to this?

Nah they got divorced way back in the Sword of the Atom days.

I never been the biggest Atom reader so idk all the details, but I'd guess from writer to writer they would always be on again off again (what with ongoing capes it is always boring to just have a stable relationship with nothing new going on)

awesome

Great first issue.

Solid issue
And the cover had me worried they'd mess it up.

Bump for more to read.

This was fun actually, looking forward to the rest.

When is the JLA title starting? I haven't been following JL vs. SS, when is it gonna be over?

pretty good

She went on to become Eclipso and started the Day of Something where she caused Spectre to decide to kill all magic leading up to Infinite Crisis right? Then punished by what?

Day of Vengeance. She was punished by being placed in orbit of the sun so she will never be exposed to darkness again.

-ㅠ-

>they didn't just reuse the same panel three times
Effort? In my funny books?

>Based Orlando
>Ivan fucking Reis on art

Hell yeah I'm gonna read it.

She ever escape? Or the Eclipso mantle pass to someone else?

>I-it's the same guys, even though it isn't besides using similar camera position and body language
>It's not like the subtle and the obvious character acting in those 3 panels matter
God I fucking hate Benis. Fuck him because he created a generation of retards like you.

Oh shut up, you know about half the artists out there now would have left it the same panel and called it a day. If all you can do is call other people retards and criticize "generations" like they're one big blob of analogous people, you shouldn't bother posting.

When do other one shots come out?

I'm pretty sure there's one each week from now on (for example, next week is Vixen) and then the week after the last one is the first issue of JLA itself.

>, you know about half the artists out there now would have left it the same panel
But this one didn't yet you continued anyway to make this a strawman for your venting. So yes, you're a fucking retard.

Eclipso did move to a new host, and she died at some point cause she comes back as a Black Lantern,
So it happened sometime during Countdown I'm guessing, since I never read it.

Probably died when Eclipso moved to a new host and she was left as a normal human in space.

Well Eclipso isn't like a demon that possesses you.
It is a spirit that possess you through your contact of a black gem.
So it'd either would have to have multiple black gems to work through or somehow manipulate things so she loses the gem.

Again idk how either of thoughs went down cause I never read countdown (which is where I assume it happened)

This is Manlet sjw propaganda!

Which Countdown? Countdown to Infinite Crisis I read and she didn't die or was in it, she was still busy with the whole Day of Vengeance wrapping up.
Countdown to Final Crisis was after Blackest Night.

Guys, I might be misunderstanding but you're both complimenting the artist for not using the same panel three times and unironically making effort, correct? Some of your posts might not have been clearly worded, in no small part because of sarcasm that might not have been detected but I think you're both on the same side.

>You're the first person who knows
I guess Superbro and Batman aren't people.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson isn't THAT amazing. He just studies space. He didn't invent anything...did he?

Are you unfamiliar with flashbacks? Did you not notice the progression of time occurring in the comic?

Yeah I'm in the the wrong here, I misinterpreted his comment.
Sorry user.

If you aren't inclined to assume all fratbros are assholes, there are pretty great friends that can be discovered in some of them.

He's like the meme scientist name media throws around.

I am. I just seem to recall that story being set right as Ray was just beginning with the tech.

I think it is used in a manner that he is the media face of science similar to how Bill Nye used to be. At least that's the interpretation I use. In this context it means Ray would be the guy everyone wanted to talk to about science.

Okay, I guess that makes since. This woman probably isn't versed in the world of modern scientific figures.

This is where Rebirth Started.

Countdown to final crisis was before Final Crisis, which was before Blackest Night.

Blackest night was the 2nd to last event of old52.

Hell one of the key items of BN was Batman's corpse, whom fucking dying in Final Crisis was a big thing.

And yeah I meant countdown to final crisis, since countdown to infinite crisis was just a term for all the preludes to infinite crisis and Countdown was the actual title of the comic that is the countdown to final crisis.

Don't worry about the timeline.
Cause you also got to fit in the time Ray spent working for S.H.A.D.E., which I'm sure will never be brought up and therefore will be a permanent problem figuring out the timeline.

Awesome stuff

Weren't the gems all melted down and shot up by Alex Montez?

DC sure is giving Orlando a hefty work load to add to his resume lately.
Is he their new Tynion or is this just because he's going to be writing the new JLA book?

This is from the Universe Rebirth

Deja vu. Was this bit printed elsewhere?

Yeap, in the DC Rebirth #1 special

Really? That's the title? Super Sons?

this was good.

bump

So, will Ray Palmer comeback?

yeah this was good

These are just one shots to introduce some of the new JLA members, not first issues.

fucking around in the Microverse is a good way to keep him busy until DC decides to use him, so maybe

>Countdown shit
Please don't.

Well the oneshots are all related to the new JLA book, of course he'd be the one to write them.

Thought the art team did a good job with a costume that can look goofy in the wrong hands.

Can anyone tell what they're drinking?
