According to the writers, this was supposed to happen

>According to the writers, this was supposed to happen

How different would the show have been if they had gone through with this idea?

Yo that's a great citation you got there.

>According to the writers, this was supposed to happen
Source?

Aaron Ehasz has gone on record saying this is what he wanted multiple times.

Literally 2 sec google search found this.

Cept Bryke where against it so it was never "supposed to happen"

That and they even said it on the show itself during the splash text.

>The two people who have opinions that matter was against it
Was this supposed to help you?

...you posted hearsay from a Zutara blog.

Not that I doubt that one of ATLA's writers might have supported the ship, but you really should be pickier about your sources.

In any case, it was never going to happen without a 4th season, since there hadn't been enough build up to justify the abrupt ending to her arc with Aang.

Zuko joined the group too late for there to be any meaningful romantic development, but their chemistry, platonic or otherwise was one of the highlights of the end of season 3.

If they had more episodes it could've been interesting, but only if Aang and Katara never got together. Fuck love triangles.

Do you REALLY believe that there is a source?

There is no source on that.

There's a difference between what a worker wants and what the bosses have planned.

I think if ATLA just got one more season, it could've happened.

I never claimed that it was 'supposed to happen' only that the head writer was in support of this ship. It's pretty clear when you watch the episodes written by him and his wife.

Stop being facetious.

I'm not OP user.

>aang gets cucked
lets not

A vague bit of splash text likely written by an unpaid intern during a marathon full of vague and often incorrect splash text

>According to the writers, this was supposed to happen

Well maybe Aang gets with someone else then

Sweet Jesus

Good god my sides what the fuck

The sexual tension would be unreal.

>FemZuko captures Aang at the North Pole
>Ties him up
>Forced to cuddle for warmth

10/10

Good times

Actually. This shit makes sense.

If they wanted Zutara, they shouldn't have shipped Kataang early on. I'm most def a Zutaran, but the shipbait between Katara and Aang got the gears rolling as early as the mutual blush in like the first episode.

>tfw so little stuff with male main hero / female archvillain.

The only other thing that immediately comes to mind is Daffy and Martian Queen.

That and also M. Night Shyamalan confirmed that some of the writers were supporting this ship

Daredevil and Elektra and Typhoid Mary.

Fuck live action.

>also M. Night Shyamalan
Stopped reading there.

Had there been a 4th season and their "relationship" been fleshed out more.. It would have been a more believable love story that the audience could have actually given a shit about.

I'm honestly just cut Azula hasn't been redeemed yet. She was kind of redeemedish in smoke and shadow according to Wikipedia, but I've never found a link to the comics online.

>resorting to M. Night Shamalamadingdong

If the creators had intended this to happen, there would have been some mention of it in LOK.

Tenzin left Lin for Pema, so it's not like the writers are against main characters changing partners.

This is way better than OP.

OP can fuck herself.

Requesting more.

stop being a bitch

readcomiconline.to should have it if you're still looking for it.

You do realize you're on Sup Forumsmblr

>Elektra
She's more of a Catwoman type that walks the line between love interest and baddie. Can't speak for Typhoid Mary though.

>Cept Bryke where against it
source?

Kataang has been their intended endgame from the start of the series, they've said so a million times.

>they've said so a million times.
The other writers seem to say otherwise.
