Developments Sept. 14 >In first 48 hours, ceasefire in Syria violated 60 times, mostly by U.S-backed "rebels" Ahrar al-Sham, US State dept. says they are not designated as terror group >Russia kills 250 ISIS terrorists near Palmyra >Rebels open fire on humanitarian highway in Aleppo >Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says 21 rebel leaders reject ceasefire in Syria >Israel denies Syrian army downed its jets, while tacitly admitting it's continuing to provide air support for jihadists
I mean seriously though. Weren't they right from the presidential palace back then?

FSA rebels BEG their greatest ally Israel for military support against the Syrian Army in South Syria - youtu.be/KUNQ5UzX8cw Mike Morell (former deputy director of the CIA), who recently endorsed Hillary Clinton, says he wants to "covertly" kill Russians and Iranians in Syria, "scare Assad" by going after his presidential guard, bomb his offices in the middle of the night, and destroy his presidential aircraft and helicopters - youtu.be/-Ivt2NmbyGg youtu.be/Oa3B5Jq8UVE

So are these boards in Russian or English?
I can't speak vodka. Also is it only Russians? I can't imagine anyone outside of Russia or the Russian Diaspora speaking vodka.

Where are these forums? Could I use Google Translator and get by? Is it a .ru site? I'm afraid of those because of Russia's policy of not punishing people who hack targets outside of Russia.

That is still quite scary how close the rebels got. I think the Colorado guy said something about /wm/ before

Which of the links is a good enough tldr; to understand the gist of the conflict?
I literally have no idea why the war is happening, why there's Russian/US involvement, or anything really.
So where is the US now? They obviously aren't supporting Assad, but they also aren't supporting the remnants of the FSA right?
Ryan Harris
It's hard to say if they stopped supporting FSA, I would say they didn't. And even if they did, all their allies in the region still are and without US saying a thing.
Easton Long
Yes they are, and the FSA has close ties to Al-Nusra (the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda).
In other words: the United States (+ NATO members and Gulf states) are funding, arming and training jihadists to overthrow the Assad government.

Says a lot about the US media when Americans themselves don't even know what their government and military are doing in the Middle East.
Jace Ward
I was just joking about geography but you are right. Most Americans don't know or care about what the government is doing in the Middle East. For the most part they only care about the money wasted and when sand people retaliate. The quality of life is too high and the average IQ is too low
Forget the airstrikes. Look at the effects of Russia on the culture in Syria.

>there are no ideological problems with JFS
So how come IF-factions are accepted as moderates and are in peace negotions while al-Nusra are baddies. And not only that, al-Nusra and IS don't have ideological problems either so IS is basically part of Syrian Opposition then

It was a joke about them asking for "proofs"

that was when Assad shut off the internet and then massacred all the rebels on the airport highway
ALEPPO, SYRIA (11:05 A.M.) - The Turkish Army is preparing for their 3rd phase of "Operation Euphrates Shield," which will include pushing south towards the Islamic State's main stronghold in east Aleppo.
Based on local reports, the Turkish Army, backed by a number of rebel groups, will push south of Al-Ra'i towards Al-Bab's northern perimeter.
However, before they make the first push to Al-Bab, the Turkish Army and their rebel groups will have to expand east in order to build a buffer-zone around Al-Ra'i.
Once a buffer-zone is created, the Turkish Armed Forces and rebels will launch their assault from two different axes.
Turkey's push for Al-Bab will cause a major issue for the Kurdish-led "People's Protection Units" because they will no longer be able to connect their Rojava pockets; this could ultimately lead to war between them.

People in Turkey have nationalistic feelings and think continually dream about genocide, destruction and slaughter of Kurds

CIA is supposedly still arming FSA
Pentagon was backing SDF, but less actively now that Turkey stumbled into Syria and stopped the main route of kurdish expansion. Some news of offensives in the east but nothing significant yet
If this is true and Al-Bab is the next target for Turkey/FSA, it is going to be a big test for Turkey. This whole operation is not just to stop kurds, it is also to prove that the Turkish army is still strong and capable after the post-coup purge. Ultimately ISIS probably can't militarily stop Turks from taking Al-Bab, but if the Turks start taking a lot of casualties from this war, public opinion in Turkey may shift against it and they may be forced to stop.
Hudson Gomez
I had a turkish neighbour who praised Gulen as benefactor of Turkey, and how Erdogan and Gulen will carry Turkey into the islamic future together.
Now he is everyday swearing at Gulen and claims Erdogan will clean this stain from Turkey's history.
Levi Rodriguez
Turks living somewhere else are not really turks or have any clue about the country. German turks just eat up the propaganda they see in state tv and then go on and drive around in their bmw with a turkey flag in the backwindow.
Jack Powell
>Russia kills 250 ISIS terrorists near Palmyra
That's a huge number, the attack was probably a major offensive.
Brody Scott
germanfag knows the truth generally the abroad turks are regular plebs so dont expect from them a decent ideas, they are useless plebs with low level education
Nathan Thompson
Other way around. CIA has been doing work for the k*rds. Pentagon has been backing FSA and "moderate rebels" (of which at least one group is a straight up Mossad-comprised unit)
Jaxson Morgan
>if the Turks start taking a lot of casualties from this war, public opinion in Turkey may shift against it and they may be forced to stop. no this will make rage us more. there will be support for even bigger intervention. turks may be most militarist nation in the world.

No one knows, I don't think Obama knows what to do anymore, I think he is just letting Putin fix the problem while pretending to aid the "moderates" in order to make his Sunni and Israeli allies less angry.

SyrianArmy prepares for large-scale offensive in northern Hama
Let's be honest. Obama is not doing shit and is more concerned about Hilary getting elected than with Syria.
Kerry is circlejerking Lavrov in order to make Russians start some agreement(everything is better than openly loosing a proxy war).
While Pentagon general faggots are still saying their Rhetoric of ebil russians, and are supporting opposition and kurds(everything is better than assad)
Kikes were rubbing their hands, until SAA shot their warplane, and Turks are trying to clean up Kurds while pretending that they are not sided in Syrias civil war.
Saudi is getting ass blasted with Houthis hunting association, and Jordan is still pentagons/CIA base for Terrorist training.
