No quality control
Bad writers
Constant events
Shitty gimmicks

It went wrong the moment they announced Civil War 2.
It went wronger the moment they revealed the post-CW2 teaser images.

DELET THIS

CRAWLING IN MY SKIN

Pandering to people who don't buy comics and shitting on people who do

>Leave Marvel to me

Constant HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO vs HERO bullshit. Just fucking stop.

Sweden

Yes!

I'll never understand why Marvel thought people with disposable income weren't the audience they want.

still hilarious how that chart is laid out like it's trying to trick people who just glance at it

I was thinking the same thing, is pretty confusing at first glance

Neverending Heroes Vs. Heroes events
Blatant coasting off of MCU's successes
Ineffectual editorial
Tenured writers with easily bruised social media presence
Placing WAY too much emphasis on pre-order incentives and variant covers

They probably knew what they were doing with that setup.

That is a TERRIBLE graph...

It's not like they couldn't fix the graph. I think they just didn't want it to look bad for Marvel.

what does Divide We Stand even mean anyway

hahaha holy shit
modern Disney was a mistake, hope I live long enough to see the company I loved so much burn in hell

Why do we need two threads about a poll from early last year?

Some sort of play on "United we stand, divided we fall"

I mean, why are they divided. CWII was resolved pretty nonchalantly.

Because the Champions decided to leave on their own.

Honestly it still doesn't make sense, I think they assumed the Marvel Universe would be divided and it sure as hell doesn't look that way.

Disney shills need their comeupence hammered home

I'm actually surprised that no one on Sup Forums talks about the newest marvel event that got announced. Not a single thread about it

And yeah, it's that Captain America event hinted by Spencer

Alonso was a mistake.
Quesada's and his buddies have been at the helm for too long.

the final result was even more hilarious

No. 64.9% 3378
Maybe. 23.3% 1214
Yes! 11.8% 616

...

A poll on an internet platform of jaded comic readers, that already had the "pleasure" of a few Now!s and Rebirths and NuSomethings. Who didn't see that coming!°?

Why do people think Disney has anything to do with the comics?

It's sad that Marvel will continue to do that. You're exactly right. DC on the other hand has rubbish quality movies so their comics would have to be better I reckon in order to make up the difference.

I personally thought it was a tie in for Captain America: Civil War. So casual fans could buy a few comics from the movie...which most wouldn't do anyway but Marvel is desperate.

Who could be the next Marvel's EIC? Someone that could attract the talent back?
