Personally, I told him church, because at least there's a lower chance of being a thot(multiple partners, materialistic, psychologically broken) and at least they believe in something bigger than themselves/see patriarchal hierarchy. He's pretty atheist, so I recommended an Episcopal church, as they all are anyway.

Age isn't always the determinate factor in quality or taste, I've had young scotch that was better than the older versions from the same distillery and vice versa.
Age will determine the price though.
