This guy is actually 34?
Holy shit I thought he was like 21 the way he acted.
>the eternal immaturity of millennial men

I got three episodes into Master of None. Literally no different from 90% of single-camera sitcomes about morally bankrupt 30-somethings but I guess because he's an Indian it's supposed to be good?

>I guess because he's an Indian it's supposed to be good?
Yeah, that is actually what makes it good, or at least original. A lot of it is about being Asian and it discusses stuff that isn't really discussed on tv. It doesn't always hit its marks and i think the second season was a lot worse, but it has an original slant on the genre, it is quite funny and stylistically it's ambitious.
He's rich, confident and affable, of course women give him a chance. The girl he falls in love with ends it with him eventually because it's 'just not right'. That part is very realistic. His romance in the second season is more wish furfillment though. The shows strength is that it attempts to be sincere, which is a trend with modern comedy shows, but still enormously rare among tv shows and comedies in general. It's weakness is execution in the first season and it stops attempting to be sincere in the second.

>Love
>Crashing
>Atlanta
>Easy
>Louie
>Better Things
>Insecure
>Bojack
>One Mississippi
>Master of None

If you don't like any of these then you really just have shit taste in comedy and modern content has completely passed you by.

I'M PICKLE RIIIIIIIIICK

There couldn't be a worse post ITT if you tried. The fact that you blatantly don't include Vice Principals, which is hands down the funniest comedy series of that whole grouping, is quite telling to me what kind of person you are.

>Love
>Better Things
>Insecure

Forgot Dear Ypipo and Ricken Mordy there bud

>Love
Apatow garbage. Bad cast. Will not watch.
>Crashing
Fine concept but had two good episodes if I'm being generous
>Atlanta
Might watch this but if it's anything like
>Insecure
It will be trash
>Louie
The best of this list that I've seen but had really terrible 4th and 5th seasons.
>Bojack
Started fine, getting much worse. Can't even finish season 4.
>Master of None
The definition of "boilerplate". Boilerplate laughs, feels, stories (OMG I'm 30+, childish, and childless)
>Better Things
Got halfway through one episode I think. What a dull concept. Single mothers, get excited!

Where's You're the Worst? Where's Vice Principals?

so kinda like porn where good looking white girls would have sex with niggers

>You're the Worst

mah nigga
barely see any love for that show on here. Also Atlanta is actually good unlike half those other pieces of shit he listed. You should check it out.

>barely see any love for that show on here.
Yeah it isn't that great but I think it has two or three good episodes a season that keep me coming back, like the one this past week. Also Zosia Mamet is fucking tall or Aya Cash is really short.

Porn stars are all white trash, bro.

Meawhile, in California:
"Where you from, sweetheart?"
"[A trailer park in] Wisconsin"

Also High Maintenance

It's good, but it's not modern. Sunny, Veep, Curb, all great shows but it's the same thing, they're hammed up, caricatures not real dramatic characters. Modern comedy shows are a rejection of this and so they hit poignant moments better, and the comedy creeps up on you more.

Rick and Morty isn't modern.

Vice Principals had more poignancy in a single, wordless sequence of Lee destroying the model airplanes he built with his late father than the entirety of Insecure.

You're the worst is good, and it attempts to be sincere, infact i think it really aspires to be one of these shows, that has serious emotional pull, sincerity and hits poignant highs, but it threw it all to the wind in favour of cheap traditional laughs. It's basically pantomime, it's funny, but it's too silly and unrealistic to get any real emotional investment. It's never going to make you feel. The same is true for Rick & Morty.

Vice Principals, Veep & Curb are pedigree shows, they aren't fucking around, they're just funny, they don't try to be the modern style.

how can one race produce the ugliest looking humans on the planet. I mean, goddamn!

you're underestimating the power of liberal white women

Quantity > Quality, bro
Structure your social structure to pressure reproduction instead of feelings

Why are racists so sensible?

he wrote a book about bangin chicks and some sociology class at my uni uses it as a textbook. Im not joking

Aziz is the guy that goes to comedy central roasts and scolds the other comedians for being racist /sexist

Dear White people is virtue signalling garbage lacking any artistic merit. You've got no clue grouping it with Atlanta & Insecure.

It goes there (really successfully), and comedy in the past has always gone there, even shows like freinds go there, but that's not it's fundamental nature, and that's not what the comedy is layered on. It doesn't maintain the tone and it's still silly escapism. There's nothing wrong with silly escapism though.

Anyone save that story someone shared on here a while ago about this Poo in Loo taking two girl fans back to his hotel room and creeping them the fuck out?

""""""modern comedy""""""
i like the part where none of it is funny, and its actually just depressing

Master of None season 1 was alright if you overlook the numale themes throughout
but season 2 was the most pretentious out of touch shit Ive ever seen.
One episode was unironically black&white and set in france.
Another episode was from the perspective of a random deaf girl and there was no sound the entire episode

That's what's at the heart of great comedy. I'm not saying all these shows always hit their marks, or that all shows going for feels are sincere (most of the time it's manipulative garbage), but real comedians are highly contemplative and have a dark side that they mine for material. It's a natural evolution of the medium to head towards it. The king of innocuous humour was Seinfeld and carrying on with that kind of funny is derivative and getting to be archaic.

Comedians are the worst. They all need to be shot.

>what is money and fame

Get out Pajeet.

It's just really really not brainlet friendly, nor is it accessible to conservatives who are naturally regressive.

I'm sick of comedians thinking their artists. Louie was faggoty hogwash.

Don't worry, the 'come to the troughs' variety of shows will always be readily available for you.

What?

atlanta is the only one of these shows that isnt complete trash

holy fucking reddit

>It's never going to make you feel.
did you watch the latest episode?

Anyone?

Pure, concentrated Reddit. Fuck off.

Yeah, nothing. There's been so much outlandish nonsense. It's too far gone now to get any emotional response. I'm completely sick of all the characters, none of them are interesting any more and none of the actors are any good. The last feels in that show was when she stalked the family.

>The last feels in that show was when she stalked the family.
Yeah that's probably the best episode of the show. I somewhat respect the show's attempt at satire at least, compared to Insecure and its toothless sendups of Los Angeles racism.

nah, why would i listen to a dumbass lmao

...

If you dont like Louie and master of none's cringe attempts at artistry it means youre a trough eating pig. Fin
