My collegue has family in Damas who are pro Assad. Everytime a female coworker bring her freedom fighter bullshit he just destroys her so much that they are stuck in a bug mode. And since he has family there she can't bring the shitty argument that he doesn't know anything.
Feels good to have based assad sympthatizer.

Basically everyone is backing one faction, in a logical manner
Turkey uses northern rebels to counter Kurds Russia backs Syria Gulfshits back jihadist shitstains
The only confusing faction is America who are backing and/or communicating with every single faction, make contradictory statements, back retarded jihadists, claim to have leverage over rebel groups while they actually cant get anything done and rebels often claim "America is an enemy of the revolution" on social media, Americanbacked Kurds fight americanbacked rebels, americanfriendly Turks with americanbacked rebels btfo americanbacked kurds
Clusterfuck
Jacob Ortiz
I'm 100% sure that they traveled all the way from Menbiç to Al Rai to take control of FSA from TAF to capture Al Bab.

Jaysh Al-Islam rains missiles on civilians in government-controlled Damascus
DAMASCUS, SYRIA (12:20 P.M.) - The Islamist rebels of Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam) fired several rockets and artillery shells towards government-controlled Damascus on Friday, striking residential areas near the densely populated 'Abbasiyeen Square.
Local activists in Damascus reported that a least one projectile rocket struck a crowded residential building in 'Abbasiyeen Square, causing a number of injuries in the process.
This rocket strike coincided with the surprise Jaysh Al-Islam offensive inside the town of Jobar today; this battle is still ongoing at the moment.
Jaysh Al-Islam was expected to adhere to the nationwide ceasefire agreement; however, they have since reneged on all agreements in favor of attacking the government forces.

Just looking at this makes me want to die
Ryan Nelson
Why? the frontlines have been static for a long time now, and theres the recent gains in the west
theres no reason to think Deir will fall anytime soon
Jeremiah Flores
no kurds want much more land and they also want to keep their %50 population in western turkey and feed on neetbucks from turks what i am suggesting is the deportation of kurds into a containment zone and enforcement with turkish military on the borders no more socialist bullshit, they work and pay their bills like everybody else in this federation system, if they don't then they don't eat
Kayden Hall
I don't understand why SAA didn't just bomb the bridge connecting eastward from the start
I remember when ISIS barely controlled a tiny bit near the bridge, sad
Jack Clark
True, but it's rather sad to see them surrounded, and I can only imagine what would happen to the SAA fighters managed to take over and capture some soldiers.
The sooner this shitty war ends the better
Joshua Wood
thats what pkk wants but not kurds want. if we let have their own country,. there will be a migration wave to turkey. we will end up with a divided country and still have a backwards minority.
Grayson James
Don't worry, the Iraqis will come from the east.
Michael Parker
ISIS is the greatest thing to ever happen to the middle east really makes you think
Nicholas Turner
Who remembers?
Gonna dump some throwbacks
Landon Rogers
we're not talking about a separate country, we're talking about a federal system i.e. States like the U.S.
kek, that is not what federation means, either way you would be practically dividing your own country yourself

before I started following the conflict
I do remember when IS & rebels were good allies and buddies, in the early IS days
Syria today, pretty sad to be honest, I'll get some before and after satellite images too, they are always interesting.

SAA about Jobar:
Terrorists in Jobar attempted to attack Syrian Arab Army positions taking advantage of the SAA's compliance with the ceasefire; Perhaps they thought the ceasefire means the army units are not ready, they were wrong to test the Syrian Arab Army's commitment to protect itself and its citizens.
Their attack was foiled, they were dealt sever casualties and the terrorist leading the attack was killed.
Let this be a message to those thinking they can test the seriousness of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces.
Moderate rebels threaten to kill US soldiers in northern Aleppo
The Turkish-backed "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) and their allies threatened to kill the U.S. Army soldiers operating inside the northern Aleppo town of Al-Ra'i on Friday if they do not leave immediately.
Video footage released on Friday showed the "moderate rebels" threatening to kill all of the the US Army personnel in northern Aleppo, calling them "infidels" and "pigs" as they chanted threats.
These threats were issued by the rebels as the US military personnel were leaving Al-Ra'i on Friday.
Other reports from the town indicate that the rebels engaged the US military personnel in a fist fight after threatening them.

Its not confusing if you go from the a priori proposition that the US has a clusterfuck of support on purpose OR that different US entities have different interests and therefore different backings?
Cooper Rogers
Your colleague is based, unfortunately our dear compatriots still eat the shit MSM feed them.
read again they got kicked out by turkey I think turkey is not working with US on ceasefire too simply they can tell groups like Ahrar don't worry about the deal we will help you by logistics regardless they are trying to humiliate US on the ceasefire deal

These soldiers on the ground are Turkish special forces.
