I don't get it.
Also what is some essential Jake Gyllenhaal kino?
I don't get it
Darko
October Sky
Zodiac
Source Code
End Of Watch
Bubble Boy
Prisoners
Everest
Nocturnal Animals
>not mentioning Night Crawler
>implying Night Crawler isn't essential Jake Gyllenhaal kino
plz lurk more before posting here, mkaaay thanks!
sorry must have confused that with something else
You didnt get it because the movie made no sense nor did it attempt to make sense.
definitely NOT everest
>obvious visual metaphors are confusing
3rd Denis film I've seen after Sicario and Blade Runner 2049.
Going to watch Incendies and Prisoners in the next few days.
I liked Enemy a lot t b h.
>polytechnique
The spiders represent women.
I really liked it too.
I only watched it because of the webm. I can't imagine seeing that shit in theaters.
yow.
anyway, I watched Ememy again and thought it was actually pretty legit. Jakey is the best actor of our age, provided he doesn't get swept up in this whole Winesteen thing.
Im 20 minutes in cant remember the last time i was so bored.
At least it isnt nails on a chalkboard terrible like Brawl in Cell Block 99.
The spider is a metaphor for his infidelity, the other Jake is his dark side a la Fight Club.
This movie is Fight Club with everything good and masculine removed. It's the plot of Fight Club plagiarized by uncomprehending betas.
What webm?
Space spiders are cloning people, what's so complicated?
probably of the final scene
Hurr durr i want to fuck every girl i see but feel guilty ;_;
movie was really bad, like a meandering parody of Cronenberg and Lynch without what makes the originals good
Brokeback Mountain
Incendies is pure fucking kino. Powerful as fuck. And major feels in one scene. My favorite dennis v. Movie so far
yeah. the final scene
where his wife turns into a spider
captcha: eesh, Broome Road??
ESSENTIAL Jake-Core
Donnie Darko
Jarhead
Zodiac
Prisoners
Enemy
Nightcrawler
Nocturnal Animals
its about a dude who cheats on his wife. whats so confusing about that?
This. It's about two characters caught, trapped and consumed by women like an insect in a spider web. The visual metaphors couldn't be more in your face.
Nocturnal Animals is probably the best film he's been in yet. Underrated as fuck. It's not really Gyllenhaal-kino though, since Shannon and Taylor-Johnson steals the show.
>no End of Watch
>no Brokeback
Really?
is he Jewish irl?
I enjoyed Prisoners a lot. Love me some Huge Jackedman.
