His best and last good movie.

>tfw I watch this every year or so.

Literally his best film.

>Tim Burton used to make kino
>now just puts johnny depp in a silly costume and films his drunken ramblings

underrated... its cooky flawless

also just a bit perterbed it took me so long to ghostbusters 2 eara bill murray tear it up... though glad to have seen plan 9 before this

also that one film where SJP wasnt a donkey

^also forgot to add... the most honest depiction of heroin in cinema .. better than trainspotting and requim IMHO

Ed Wood - 10
Big Eyes - 9
Dark Shadows - 8
Miss Peregrine - 7

>last good movie
What is Big Fish

What is Big Fish, user? Please tell us.

Only movies I liked by him were Peewee, Edward Scissorhand. Never watched Bettlejuice, Ed Wood, or either of his Batman movies, and I have seen most of his other movies and thought they sucked. Are the Batman movies worth a watch?

Yes the Batman movies are worth a watch.
And Ed Wood is fucking amazing.

Tim Burton hasn't made a good film since Mars Attacks

I liked Sleepy Hollow, but I wouldn't recommend it.

ITT : fat goth girls

>a film about films
is ed wood literally the only one of its kind that isn't pretentious and self-indulgent?

Sunset Boulevard

Man I fucking hate Burton/Depp and the thought of any of the films built on that pairing disgusts me so I didn't watch this until like a year ago and its one of my favorite (top 50 or so) films

>le member

fuck off nigger

Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a 10/10 kino

Ed Wood too.

His decline seemed to happen as soon as he made that Planet of the Apes remake.

a masterpiece

remember when Johnny Depp wasn't a pile of shit

Pee Wee's really is 10/10 that Netflix one was hot shit

no

Was it Rango? Or that Gilliam film where he filled in for Ledger?

Rango was good, and the premise of different actors playing the same role in the Gilliam film was interesting.

Speaking of Depp and Gilliam, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas was absolutely brilliant.
But Burton couldn't have pulled that one off the way it was supposed to be.
