>Best Girl dies
OFFICIALLY WORST TIMELINE

Rooting for Whiterose now.

S2E1

>first season is bernie-tier "fuck corporations" nonsense
>naturally an economic illiterate like him gets btfo in the primaries
>first post-election season immediately pivots into anti-trump drivel

s1e1

this is your brain on r/thedonald

I still like it cause it's at least somewhat different than other shows and the plot is interesting

>if I call it donald it is not true/will go away

the pol fallacy

this episode was great.

This is already shaping up to be the best season

This.

And this. Love the scenes between Price and Whiterose, and always great to see Christa back. But fuck them for what happened to you-know-who. At least next week Best Boy returns

>t. commiecuck berniebro from /leftypol
go listen to chapotraphouse ad jerk off to cuck porn

start of this season wasn't as strong as s2

Seriously it's full throttle out of the gate, especially compared to season 2.

Season 2 was such a slow burn. The first episode of s3 worried me a bit but this episode game me way more hope. One thing this show does well is keep me interested constantly.

Spamming Sup Forums buzzwords doesn't make you any less of a redditor.

>Why would someone call me buzzwords if I called him buzzwords first?

again, they always bring up cuckoldry for some curious reason...

>Elliot's new coworker
chuckled heartily

Anonymous masks are getting weird.

holy shit, that scene was too good. The musical choices on this show is god tier

if you paid attention on the train it's literally some dyed hair pierced SJW freak, mamoud in blankets there, Elliot, and a fat 'female' darky

this is how they display a random segment of society

...

>implying it wasn't dead on arrival

so what's wrong? I see it everyday while going to work

The show didn't just jump the shark it lept over the moon when the edgy MC drove poor innocent bill to suicide through intense heckling

Jesus, who the fuck is in charge of the sound mixing?

last.fm/user/Leferhex

>suicide
what? I have a feeling he'll be back as a colder, harder person due to his experience with Elliot

S1E1 00:00:00

>Where are they going with this plotline? She must be really important in the end game or something for this meandering
>oh

i wonder if there will be complaints about fridging her to prop up Tyrell's storyline.
Also I don't recall, but did Tyrell express any concern for her/his son in the season finale? If the FBI are hiding what happened to her, maybe Tyrell won't know next episode.

Nope, I'm pretty sure Tyrell was too focused on Phase 2. It was S02's red herring before they closed that off.

Yeah that's what I figured, pretty fucked up how her story ended up. But damn it was so fucking ballsy of her to do that and think she could control the situation with her idiot boytoy. I always liked that she was ride or die with Tyrell, but I'll be a bit disappointed if Tyrell doesn't find out about her fate next week.

>REEEEEEEEE THEY MENTIONED TRUMP AND I THINK IT WAS IN A DEROGATORY WAY BUT IM NOT REALLY SURE BECAUSE IM AN AUTISTIC SPAZZ REEEEEEEEE EVEN THOUGH HE LITERALLY SAYS YOU CAN'T BLAME EVERYTHING ON PEOPLE LIKE TRUMP REEEEEEEE

BITCOIN

if you didnt know she was going to die when the driver made a shady look and stopped the car in a dark alley, you really havent seen film or television in your life, ever.

Not him, but I think it's because we're so used to seeing her be able to outwit every obstacle she's faced. But yeah, in hindsight, a scorned lover and publicly admitting to that guy that he was duped was not going to end well.

>brazenly talking about illegal currency
inb4 v%

season one, episode where he gets pushed down by tyler durden

>illegal
huh?

I have to agree, somewhat. It laid back the whole anti-trump nonsense, but also seemed to pivot to a new arc of continuity. I feel this season we're going to be seeing a lot more of both sides, the underbelly undermining by Elliot and co. and the political struggle of the world elites. I got a very promising dynamic from this episode, so I have some hope yet.

The researchers are pretty good. Darlene compromised Elliot's monitor which is why no rootkit was detected and why they were able to capture screenshots regardless of what was running on the monitor (eg. kali linux live usb). Sauce:

Sam Esmail has confirmed there's no time travel in the show since from a writing standpoint it basically lets them throw out all the rules.

I think there's something important being hinted at about Krista and her home office. Also, there's obviously some connection between the particle accelerator at E-Corp's Washington Township power plant and the power outages but I don't have any solid theories.

>no timetravel
it does feel too obvious with Whiterose and her obsession with time and being able to convert Angela so quickly with the thought of "undoing" everything.

I wonder if there really is more to their plan than it screaming "time travel"

Shit wait, maybe not time travel but alternate universes?

I think WR is just a master manipulator, and whatever fluff he sold to Angela about "undoing everything" was just carefully calculated bullshit.

Dude, it's basically Fight Club, but with hackers.

If going by Alternate Universe/Timeline, what if Elliot had told Krista about his fall, just not this one?

Also, fuck I could have sworn he told her this story since she was the one who was contacted after his fall at the boardwalk.

...

Are they trying to push the college liberal agenda which states that's it's okay to force a women to wear the Hijab.

Look up "The Dis-orientation Manual"

Tyler Wellick

>the moment darlene says get woke dude
Episode was great. Better than ep1.

be glad you don't know

So does Mr.Robot fuck?

What the hell they spent so much time on the Tyrell wife subplot last season. Was that all for nothing? What did it all lead up to? Did the actress just decide to bail out or something?

She's hot

if they do kill off dom which they will she is trying to launch a film career then yes it will at least be better than season 2

She'll become another one of Elliot's alter egos.

I think they are leaning towards more towards the theme of Interstellar in that they will be able to ascend to new dimensions of existence.

That scene was nice but I wanna see Rami Malek try to pull off a Christian Slater impersonation for a full scene, just to see what the other characters are seeing when Mr. Robot takes over. Probably easier said than done though.

Why is the picture quality of this show so fucking soft to the point it looks like I'm watching a YIFY encode?

Compression artifacts are always more visible in dark areas, and the show has extremely dim lighting in most scenes.

They need to use a better camera and stop making the backgrounds so fucking soft. It's ridiculous. It looks even worse when you watch it on cable. Even the Bluray rips from Season 2 looked like shit because of their filming style and choice of camera. They need to learn from Better Call Saul, which does dark scenes very well.

Mr. Robot always looks fucking flat, dull, and overcast. Fuck this pisses me off.

Look at this shit. Why doesn't it pop? Why does everything have to be so dull? Why is her face not completely clear? Why is everything looking like somebody turned the gamma too high?

They know what they're doing. I don't think anybody really believes South Dakota looks like that.

They don't know shit. Everything looks like shit.

Imagine if this wasn't a cap from the 1080p Amazon rip and you were watching it on your shitty cable provider. It would look worse than a YIFY. This shit is just dull, terrible to look at.

Really enjoyed this episode after what was a pretty meh opener just there to set things up. There is most definitely more to be explored about what 'elliot' is doing at E corp. Opening was tip top with music included. The choices for mrs. tyrell feel a little redundant but I guess it will be time to shift focus onto tyrell himself, which the next episode promo seemed to show. It's nice to see they're giving slater time to properly act also. The ending and the episode itself reminded me of why I enjoy this show. WR and E corp head boiled down into some nice succinct tense scenes. Also got a good laugh at WR trying to convince me angela looks anything but like a goblin.

>hurr durr let's not get a good camera and lets just turn up the brightness so everything is grey and dull

r/thedonald are pro-jew, moron. and reddit is AIDS.

aaa

Muh bookeh

desu, I stopped watching the second I realised I was just watching Fight Club, which was probably the second episode at most

I think it's meant to contrast the scene where he kissed her in Season 1. It was in the same place with the same background but it had warmer colors (also they were both sitting on the bench instead of Elliot standing).

There's also some visual glitches that seem to be intentional. Like if you watch the scene where Krista tells Elliot to focus on her voice or whatever as she draws out Mr Robot then you will notice that for a split second she becomes pixelated (this occurs at other points as well). There's some ARG stuff that reference simulations and parallel universes.

That combined with their excellent use of mise en scène makes me think that they do know what they're doing and it's intentional.

I've been wondering about that shit too. I think parallel universes are definitely going to come up, though in what way I have no idea.

About Krista, I thought that was strange too. Also, the way that Darlene reacted to Elliot bringing up the snowman.

I've been playing around with the idea that Mr. Robot is an alternate universe version of Elliot. Furthermore, whiterose switching between male/female and being super concerned with time could be due to some similar arrangement.

The show is pretty redpilled about the whole battle for the digital currency monopoly.

It sounds distant for now, but it will definitely be happening in the next decade.

Darlene is gonna die.

i still get a boner when i think about his shrink searching for anal sex porn.

There's a few pieces on the board that haven't been touched on yet.

>Leon met up with Mobley and Trenton, possibly on behalf of the dark army.
>Santiago (Dom's boss) was hinted at working for the dark army.
>Someone is making new F-Society videos through the old vimeo account.

>redpilled
I can't tell if you're being ironic by using brainletspeak.

Either way, it's too soon to tell where they sit on that. After all, the way that blockchain works essentially relies on consensus (with regard to computational power). It's possible to distort the truth in a blockchain by controlling enough of the computational power out there. There's a sort of built-in assumption that such a thing could never happen but it is definitely not impossible. Especially if you control your own E-Coin you could probably do it (though even with bitcoin it would be possible if you controlled a huge enough mining pool or could somehow perform the computations much faster).

Another interesting thing to note is that all of the data is encrypted, not deleted. Now, while blockchain and encryption use different forms of encryption we may still see some interesting attacks or technological innovations introduced to subvert one or the other. It could just be me but E-Coin definitely feels like a Chekhov's gun in the series right now (the encrypted data is arguably a resolved plotline from a writing perspective).

Interesting.... is this why bitcoin survives? Not enough computational power to take it down? I heard that the alphabet agencies actually allow bitcoin to exist because if it's on the internet it is easier to track hacked illegal e-currency transactions rather than tracking them down in real space.

No, there's a ton of computing power and there are some huge mining pools out there but no single mining pool controls the majority of the computing power. Moreover, even if one did they all claim to be acting to maintain trust in bitcoin.

This was actually a decent episode. Sometimes watching this shit pays off

>You can pinpoint the second this show jumped the shark.
Yeah S01E01 about 15mins in.
It's a garbage show

>I've been wondering about that shit too. I think parallel universes are definitely going to come up, though in what way I have no idea.
I hope all sci-fi stuff is just Elliot psychosis.

>elliot uses linux mint

lol no

yes, start of season 2.

You're blind. That was just his cover. When his sister left, he switched to Kali Linux.

What's crazy to me is that Esmail originally planned for this to be a feature length movie and the it was later turned into a 5 season TV series with the same overall plot (he plans to finish it even if the ratings suck).

With all this convoluted/complicated stuff happening in the plot I can't even imagine how he planned to do it in a movie. Even if you cut out a bunch of stuff and focus on the main plot it's still too much to pull off in a movie without rushing through.

Nah, he booted into Kali Linux (from a USB key) because he wanted to test his system for rootkits. Of course he didn't see one since Darlene compromised his monitor's firmware and not his computer.

he booted into Kali Linux from a liveusb, to avoid using his Mint install.

Seems you are the blind one.

lol this

he booted into kali, mint is still his main every day os when he isn't hacking.

>It's absolute derivative shit but I still watch it and shitpost about it on Sup Forums

Is it possible that we're being deceived into thinking that we're seeing events from the perspective of a single timeline but we're actually jumping back and forth in a way that won't be revealed until the season finale?

It's not like there is anything good on TV anyway.

ok, lemme rework it
>TV is absolute shit, I still watch it and shitpost on Sup Forums about it anyway

Was wondering if that was this season's twist, definitely. Something just really seemed off about the Krista scene. Maybe we're to keep an eye out on things that seem slightly off that we should recognize having watched the series so far.

Yeah, this times 1000.
