How many times have you seen it boys? Going for a third time with my dad on Friday

zero times.
>Villeneuve
>sequel
>scifi
will never pay money to watch any of the above.

Three.
Maybe I will go one more time.I really like the movie and it's visually stunning. I don't have a setup at home, I won't be able to recreate the feeling of seeing it on the big screen

I would actually see it with my dad, but I can't stand theaters, and even if I did, my inability to watch the movie at 2x+ speed and control the playback as I do for all my media ruins it for me.

go to bed cassidy

Considering a third time

2 times. 2nd time was alone in empty theater. Best kino experience desu

I'm going by myself.

0

Good

Same here senpai, I'll probably do it.

Just popped my cherry, will be going again soon.

Going a third time later this week.

I've never been to the theater by myself.

turn up late so you walk in after the trailers/adverts and no one will notice. you go early, sat by yourself and people notice.

Go on a weekday if you’re NEET. Nobody will be there. If you’re not, then catch the earliest time you can in the morning on a weekend.

DON'T LISTEN TO THIS MAN. If you go early and sit at the very back no one will really see you, you'll be in the shadows and they'll be busy looking for their own seat. If you walk in late EVERYONE will be staring at you while you awkwardly look around for a seat and then you have to walk past them on your way to the seat.

Saw it a third time yesterday, thought I'd finally be sick of it. Not at all.

no one else in the cinema which was great and sad at the same time

Still haven't seen it

going down on your mum a third time this week

>looking for a seat
if he is anxious about going alone, hes not going to go to a busy showing. use your brain.

Getting mixed signals here guys.

I would say go as early as possible desu so you’re one of the first people there. Once you’re sat down, the anxiety pretty much vanishes. The people coming in are already trying to find seats so they’re not paying attention to you

No one gives a fuck if you're alone lmao

Seems like the kind of movie you have to sit in comfort and solitude to enjoy, so Im just waiting for a blueray or a good rip of it so I can watch it at home. Its like reading a good book in a busy place to me.

This
No one will care unless there's another alone self aware virgin in the theater

It all comes down to this, but if someone is already anxious about it, this isn’t going to help them

wrong. I purposely sit near them and then whisper among who Im with, to which they laugh; triggering the lonely autist to worry.

Going to see it alone again tomorrow, then with some people on Sunday.

Maybe I've been numbed to it because I go to movies alone all the time due to my weird work schedule, but why is everyone so anxious about it? Literally nobody gives a fuck if you're there alone and anyone who does will, at worst, see the back of your head for two hours before heading home and forgetting you the second they walk through the door.

It's been a long time since I've been watching something in the theater and thought "I'm so happy I'm watching this".

>watch the movie at 2x+ speed and control the playback as I do for all my media
you deserve to die

When I saw it, it was me by myself with 3 other dudes who were also by themselves.

that is fucking disgusting user

This

People go to the bar alone. Why isn't there a stigma for that. People go eat and shop alone. Why no stigma for that? Plus theaters are dark as fuck so why would they care and on top of that why care what others think? You won't see them again?

I can see the polygon article right now. "Blade Runner 2049 panders to lonely manchildren, and thats a problem."

I go alone all the time but I can understand why someone would feel uncomfortable doing it. It’s thought of as being a place to take a date or go with your friends, although idk why.

This is why millennials will eventually kill the theater industry

Thanks. No matter how many times I say it, I always get that reaction, even though I can't imagine how people don't do it.

did you suck each other off

Bar and restaurant alone does have a stigma. I know what you’re saying though

Dad go to bed

does it not completely ruin any kind of emotional, dramatic scene for you when all sound like fucking chipmunks?

No but we all made eye contact while walking out and it was kind of awkward

Yes, but VLC, (the player I use, as the pleb I am) auto-corrects for that, so it just sound like sound is sped up without having the pitch changed.

I don't know what you call those abominations you're describing but you're watching jack shit.

Hm? You should try it. Just look up your favorite scene from your favorite kino on YouTube and increase the playback settings. Unfortunately, you can't finely tune the controls there, (at least without an extension), but with a 25% increase, you can get some idea of what it's lik.

I saw it one time and it was Tuesday at 12:00 and I was the only one there. As you said confy and sad at the same time.

which of you guys are actually cool with your parents like that, that you can watch or talk about 'adult content' together and not feel uncomfortable?

thinking about going for the second time, but it's kind of shitty to go alone

me and my Dad recommend movies to each other all the time. We never watch them together since I moved out like 10 years ago

Ive talked to my dad about porn, I have no idea how it came up but it was something that went on for like 5 minutes and ended with;
>how are they always good looking, after a while youd think it would be like throwing a hotdog down a corridor
>they get alot of practice
>what does that even mean?
>I dont know son, maybe its like a hot bath, where if you sit on it long enough you get use to it...I mean sit in it...
No idea how it came up.

Thinking about going again but it's no longer showing at the IMAX so I know it won't be as great.

That huge Atari logo. I mean, my god, that was a religious experience.

Been twice. Alone both times.

I saw it once and no need to watch again. 2nd time ill watch when good torrent comes out so I can stream to my projector. What's up with you guys watching it so many times, watching at home will be best experience.

3 times always brought at least 2 people with me.
Considering watching it 4th time alone...

3rd and final viewing booked for this evening
Can't wait

this

I don't watch gosling trash

what is the women opinion aout this movie?

Who cares
-the white dude from Mad Men

I'm thinking about it
I have to do things today, but maybe tomorrow while people are at work I'll see it again

Great wojak

>took gf with
>its long and boring, do I need to watch?
>she liked GiTS thou I hated it

...wtf

>lol she broke his weird creepy sex hologram #yougogirl

I'm greedy like a Jew, I watched it once in Cinema, loved every minute on it and can't wait for the blue ray release to watch it again including making of.

Notice how these shills always say they've seen it three times or about to see it for the third time.

>People genuinely enjoying things, no can't possibly be

There was a very similar reaction when Drive came out, I'm willing to to bet you found this place during the election you newfag, you sound exactly like nu-pol

>tfw finally have into the meme and went to see it but bought a ticket to happy death day and snuck into br instead so hackanueve doesn't get a dime out of me
Movie was shit btw

>posts on a meme board
>refuses to watch a meme film

Sounds like reddit is more your speed

Going again Friday. Last time I went with friends, but girlfriend saw it on a different day. This time it's the same friends, but girlfriend comes along. This movie is fantastic.

Some questions:

1) why do people say JOI never loved him?

2) did he die at the end?

3) why did they choose him as the decoy?

1. They\re idiots.
2. Probably.
3. We don't know that they did. It's possible more replicants had the horse figurine memory.

>1) why do people say JOI never loved him?
In most but not all cases it's an emotional response, people don't like the idea that their feelings could be recreated artificially and what that implies. Which is that there is no "soul" or higher consciousness, and feelings/ emotions really are just instinct intellectualised. Even though we don't know that and it's just in the context of the film, we have no idea if when we eventually try to recreated emotion it will be the same.
>2) did he die at the end?
Yes
>3) why did they choose him as the decoy?
Not sure, the film implies that other people had the memory too but doesn't outright state it.

my mom's kind of a prude and my dad sexually abused someone when he was younger so talking about "adult" things with him is inherently uncomfortable.

varied, much like the male opinion

Just imagine how extra-hard this film would have bombed without all the fanbois seeing it six times.

Saw it once. I'm not in the habit of going to the theaters twice unless for social reasons. But I really loved the movie. The more I think of it I think the script is the best thing about it. Some of the visual style is amazing but I was not a fan of some of Villeneuve's choices like making the rooftops of the city look like Baghdad. I get why he did it but I also thought it looked unimpressive.

Just once.
My eardrums can't handle that soundrack on imax.
Also I want to watch it without any thot talking and laughing near me.

Once. I can only sit through films of immeasurable length once. Like the director's cut of Watchmen. ONCE.

I think I'm gonna go again later today. I just can't get it out of my head.

>afraid to go to the cinema alone
What the actual fuck, I'm a fat 21 year old cripple beta virgin and I do not comprehend this concept, how is going to see a film alone a bad thing? Is that an American thing?

Everyones dad sexually abused someone user, i mean...your here
After all

Might see it for a third time next week. It that or Geostorm, and it depends on the reviews for geostorm

Im wondering if Villeneuve or Ridley Scotts PR team is trying to push more people to see it

I think they might shoot for a trilogy
comic book
or some sort of on going series.

Saw it for the first time, alone. Good thing too because
I cried.

>had a good bud
>used to watch and discuss good flicks and animus together
>he found a gf
>he basically stopped contacting me
>it's fine, he knows what's good for him, if he's having more fun doing things with his gf, so be it
>yesterday he wrote and said that he went to see Blade Runner with his gf
>didn't even watch the original beforehand
>man wtf that was such a dumb and boring movie, I didn't understand anything
I had no idea women could make a man into a fucking retard in such a short time. Don't fall for the vagina Jew, boys.

What's it like being dumb?

4 times. Might see it again this week.

thats why we stick with AI-fus

Probably going to go see it a third time this afternoon. First time I went was absolute comfy. Not many people in the kinoplex. Second time I went the entire row behind me was drunk Staceys and Chads. Totally ruined the experience.

or LUV-bots

No wonder you don't understand.

Explain then

>tfw you can't enjoy this kino because of the no singles policy at your local kinoplex

They should at least make an exception for this one..

Nice, i'm stealing this

For normal people, going alone is embarrassing and pathetic, since it attests that the person has no social skills.
If you're already at rock bottom, there's no need to feel bad for going alone anymore.

I've gone to the cinema alone twice (including yesterday to watch Blade Runner) and I'd actually recommend it. I'm not even that autistic but it's obviously the superior choice.
>no annoying people next to you talking / looking at phone
>more space for legroom
>never miss kino because you can't find someone to go with
when you go alone you notice how many other people are there alone and if you honestly think that random strangers will judge you then I don't know what to tell you. Though it's probably worth noting that I went yesterday at 2pm so there were probably a disproportionate number of autists/loners in there.

Why did the film turn into a horror movie when Harrison Ford appeared?

I went third time today. That was probably the last time because no more IMAX viewing and there is no point in going to the regular one after that experience.
I don't know how you guys get an empty theatre. I went today on the earliest one (11:30 though) and still there was like 20 people there.
