MOVIE...

HUMANS...

NEVER... UNDERSTAND

>caeser weak
>koba weaker

Apes have top tier banter

The dynamic between Koba and Caeser was so god damn good. It saved Dawn and turned it into a pretty great movie overall.

>War of the Planet of the Apes
>there is no war
>the plot is basically the same as Rise, except at the end of the film the human race gets wiped out

...

cause autists talk up these movies i kinda wanna watch them but theyre the same people who talk up capeshit so i really dont trust them

whats good about the movies? action?

Is this some type of new negro slang?

Yeah. I'm guessing it's them saying "bitch"

very kino

Who /BadApe/ here?

This movie was so good. Best of the year so far for me

>APES TOGETHER STRONG
>literally 99% of the apes are together in that enclosure
>can't do shit

I just want a planetofapes daughterfu! Is that too much to ask!!!

more like APES TOGETHER STRONG AS LONG AS CAESAR'S THERE OTHERWISE THEY'RE FUCKED, am I right

No. The action is fun when its there but the performances by the Apes is insanely good and carries all three movies. You come to care for Caeser at the very least due to Andy's ridiculously talented performance. You see this ape grow from a baby into a man who fights to defend his people into the bitter old man seeking revenge.
They are fun movies with good performances and a lot of nice throwbacks to the original in terms of music and themes.

It's an allegory of world war 2 you insufferable pleb

They're much better when humans aren't as much of the focus anymore, so 2 and 3 are far better than 1.

The cinematography of 2 and 3 are kino as fuck, and the apes look fantastic. In general the acting is solid, and they just do a good job of living up to the hype of standing alongside the original movies.

I believe the whole idea behind these movies is how humanity's problems arent because we're human, but because our intelligence is what makes us so fundamentally flawed, and fucked up. As we evolved, as we learned to speak, and developed politics, we found new ways of fucking each other over and fucking ourselves. You see this progression from the first to the third. In the beginning, the apes have enough intelligence to work together, and overcome humanity. As their politics, and ideals develop however, a divide forms between Koba and Caeser and apes start to splinter off. By the third, war develops between Caeser and the humans that enslave apes.

The movies are flawed for sure, but they're modern kino.

...

so whats the actual thing that would make me like it? its a war movie? like about conquering humanity?

Great leaders help their people overcome their baser nature instead of feeding off it.
Looking at you Drumpf.

that sounds kinda interesting, i think im about sold

Kino moment

me on the right

2>3=1

Sure user.

More a drama and character study on Caeser than anything else. Humanity is usually the ones attacking the Apes.
Like I said the trilogy revolves around him.
Watch the first movie as its the best movie and if you don't like Caeser by the end you won't like the other 2. If you care about him at the end then you should see the rest.

1=3>>.
Not even best bro Koba could save that shit show of a second movie.

Is this supposed to be HANDS UP DONT SHOOT?

Did you even see the movie?

>IN THIS WORLD GONE MAD, WE DONT SPANK THE MONKEY, THE MONKEY SPANKS US!

Its ASL(African Sign Language) for Apes together are strong.

I really like these movies but don't care for most capeshit.

They are just really well-crafted films and never feel like soulless products, unlike most blockbusters. There's actually very little action; it's mostly about the birth of a new intelligent civilization, and how primitive ethics and politics develop within. Things that are philosophical and could easily become heavy-handed and wordy in any other films but are in this case told mostly visually, purely confident in the language of cinema. There's almost no dialogues yet there is a depth and an undeniable mythical, epic quality to Caesar's arc and how it mirrors human society.

The acting is phenomenal. Don't think it's just CGI or a technological gimmick, it's real actors doing an amazing job. Really endearing and memorable characters. The pacing and editing is also really different from usual blockbusters, scenes unfold with long takes and a purpose rather than nonsensical cuts every two seconds. Beautiful photography as well. I'm not claiming they're complete masterpieces either, they have flaws and are still Hollywood blockbusters in some aspects, but they have very noble ambitions and virtues. The first one is a more traditional studio film with human leads and problems inherent to prequel bullshit, but the other two are more confident and ambitious. To give you an idea the main influences on the last one are Outlaw Josey Wales and Bridge on River Kwai. It's not mindless capeshit made by tasteless hacks.

Unironically deserves an Oscar

>cries for an ape that she met a day ago
>doesn't react when her father dies
white girls are the worst, no wonder the world is doomed! how can humans compete??

...

What purpose did it serve to the overall plot though? In terms of showing how Earth turned into a planet of apes, War did pretty much nothing compared to the first two films.

im leaving white women behind and going full moor

FIND THE HALFLING

>To give you an idea the main influences on the last one are Outlaw Josey Wales and Bridge on River Kwai
not to knock the movie, but I'd say Great Escape and Apocalypse Now are bigger influences than either of those

>full moor
So North African Berber and Vandal (Germanic) Caucasians? Both of which white, btw.

Shes Italian Turkish

A P E D

>spicy roach
interesting choice

SNEED
KILL
BANE

this movie was absolute trash
what is with ape movies that make them garbage? skull island was also terrible

Jay is so fucking handsome

...

>her father

Did anything indicate they were related? It's the post apocalypse. Guy was probably some freak holding her hostage, fucking her.

literally a reference to older planet of the apes movies

best ape

>Both of which white, btw.
Lol no you dumb shitskin

my main gripe about this movie is how hackneyed it was for that gorilla to die five minutes later so she could give the flower back to him.

I forget just how amazing the CG was in this movie.

Because it's a real actor performance that is captured. Not CG animation.

People thought that CG would mean the death of human actors when the Final Fantasy shit happened. But the opposite happened. This feels more human than regular human acting.

BLACKED

It's Ceasar

truly one of the greatest moments in all of the trilogy

for this film being the undisputed worst of the reboot it sure had a few moments that were worth paying the ticket for

it was up to par with the rest

CHIIIIZAAAA

KANEDAAAAA

whats up with blondies and black people? why do they feel the need to make them together in every movie?

APES NOT MAN

I was very impressed by the appearance of the apes, especially Caesar.

>ape fetish
