Hey OP I don't really know how to critique so I'm just gonna think about what I would say if I were to travel back in time to meet myself and talk me out of watching some shows, feel free to ask me to go into detail if something is unclear
>Mindhunter
Evens out to average, the main plot is great but it gets dragged down a lot by boring sub-plots that are obviously intended for a different audience than what the show is supposed to be about
>Narcos
You really need to care about the subject matter or else it's just gonna be an average watch that you'll forget basically everything about in like half a year
>Hannibal
Ultimate style over substance, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it also means it's not for everyone; also season 3 was terrible for everyone anyway
>Fargo
Top choice
>Westworld
Worst case of blue balls I have experienced with TV shows: they spent 6 hours hyping stuff up and you expect something big to happen and it does and it's just not that good, completely fizzled for me by the time it reached "I hope you're hyped for the next season!" ending
>Taboo
If the setting does not bother you then it's definitely worth a watch
>Ash vs The Evil Dead
Ultimate shlock, and while there's nothing wrong with that, I don't think anyone who can't get enjoyment out of B-movie texture could have fun with this I had tremendous fun though
>Twin Peaks
Having watched the first two seasons and enjoying them like 5 years ago, I found myself closing the first episode of season 3 midway because I realized I was half an hour in and I could describe everything that happened with maybe two sentences, though I'm probably going to be called a pleb for not liking slow shots of walls
>Mr. Robot
I thought it was tremendously boring and I could not even finish season 2
>Ozark
Too many unlikable characters for me to stomach more than 3 episodes, the main character is definitely not enough to carry the whole show
>The Leftovers
In one word? Melodrama
