When I gave it a shot myself I was too bored to continue one arc in. It took the camaraderie of a storytime for me to read the whole thing. There's something lacking in Reed's delivery, I dunno.
Still, I can respect how much he knew & cared about such a relatively obscure character. And some of the later arcs are genuinely memorable. That's ore than can be said for THE ENTIRE SECOND HALF of KSD.
