I agree with a lot of their opinions and I like them generally ,but it seems like they have very specific tastes when it comes to genres of movies that are near and dear to them and that can affect the way they view movies.

1. Superhero movies. They prefer Marvel to DC because Marvel is fun and lighthearted which is what they think a superhero movie should be like (they cited the original Christopher Reeves Superman as how superhero movies should be). Again that's fine but it usually just leads to them shitting on anything DC (like BvS) because it's too "dark and edgy"

2. Horror movies are pretty big with them but they seem fairly particular about what are good and bad horror movies. I disagreed with their IT review on the basis that they emphasized that it was for the lowest common denominator and that the jump scares nearly ruined the movie, when I thought they were actually worked in quite well and overall the movie blended together a lot of different tones in a very cohesive and enjoyable way, along with being very detail oriented and creative. It seems like if something has a familiar trope in it that they don't like, they're pretty willing to just toss the whole thing out the window.

That said I still really like their reviews, they're not fucking annoying like pretty much every other YouTube movie reviewer (like Chris Stuckmann), they put effort into their videos, they have good ideas about technical details of movies, they're funny, and I usually agree with most of what they have to say.

I mean they have the kind of humor that I have so I enjoy their videos. I wouldn't say I "love" them though.

it's not hard to see reasons to dislike the DC movieverse. from 'not muh superman' to studio fucking with the films in order to maximize profits, hiring interesting filmmakers like Ayer and then just ruining their work. not to mention trying to take itself too seriously for what it is (though now they're backing down from that because Deadpool and Guardians made al lthe money)

That didn't have Jay in it, but AIDSMoby was not completely terrible and didn't ruin the episode. Overall that Christmas episode and the early Wheel episodes with the best combo are my favourite episodes.

I do like them alot. Watching the evolution of Jay from ugly to handsome and Mike's handsome to fatfuck has been entertaining as well. I also get the feeling that Jesse wanted Jays cock in a couple episodes.
