Not sure about this eternal battle with lucifer deal is, I'm assuming you mean the end of Season 5 where Sam gets into the cage with Lucifer and Michael.

The kid is a nephilim, a child of angel and human, only it's archangel, and it's Lucy's.

Crowley died to perform some spell, Castiel died because Lucifer killed him, but it's generally accepted he will come back.

i think with losing his mom, losing cas and god basically telling them (dean and sam) that it's their job to take care of the world (before leaving chuck left he told dean that the world is in good hands the world has sam and dean), dean is overwhelmed and as a coping mechanism reverted emotionally to season 1 dean where everything was simpler (you hunt and kill monsters and no weight of the world on your shoulders) and he's holding onto that to avoid emotionally spiraling into abject despair.

do you mean that place where his/lucifer's/asmodeus' throne is? it's not in hell. it's a building (a warehouse, i think) on earth that he uses as a palace. the brothers discovered it and went there. i think that was the ep when they went there to go after amara who was with "uncle" crowley at the time.
