For those who've grown up watching moviestars grow old and transition from being the young main characters to being slotted into dad roles, how do you feel? We kind of saw it in Birdman but it feels like due to this wave of capeshit old dudes kind of get a second life as the villain (as well as the fore-mentioned dad role).
Keaton got to do both in new Spiderman. It was kind of humbling when I saw him as Batman like 30 years ago and now he's driving his adopted daughter and 15yo Spiderman to prom.
I don't think the daughter was adopted, they cast a very dark woman to play his wife, daughter kind of fell in-between, though in reality she was more of a 1/4th white than a half white.
If they ever make the Frank Miller Batman where he's in his 50's or 60's and goes crazy murdering Robin and all the criminals, Keaton can reprise his batman role.
I was hoping Birdman would be the start of the Keatonsance, but it didn't really happen, I guess cuz he lost the oscar.

In the comics Laura's character is named Liz Allan but int he movie her father's last name is Toomes. So is she Liz Toomes or there is not credit for her full name, just like Zendaya's character who is just Michelle.

The fact they didn't mention it implies she was his natural born daughter in the movie. No other reason to hide it unless revealing it would have spoiled the surprise. If she was adopted, they probably would have made a point of mentioning the different last name to throw you off even further.

Yeah. I also believe she was not adopted. Her maother is really dark too. It's weird though that they gave the mixed daughter role to Laura who is not biracial & not to Zendaya who is actually biracial. But seems like Zendaya's role will get even bigger in the future movies. She is their MJ.

Probably that actress originally auditioned for that role but some producer got so hard when he saw her that he decided she should get a bigger role. Not gonna lie, I also had a half chub whenever she was on screen.
