Steven Spielberg is the best director of all time. Let me say why: -He has made so many different movies and all of them executed well. That's why he is the best.
Look at the huge contrast between Shindlet's List and Jurassic Park.
Perhaps there is no other director who pulled out so many unforgetable classics and masterpieces like Spielberg. E.T, Jurassic Park, Private Ryan, Catch me if you can, Indiana Jones, Minority Report,
cant belive he posed like that next to the last tyranosaurus on the planet after killing it. big game hunting is cancer fuck hunters
David Young
he was the best
he is not anymore his new movies are really not great anymore
bridge of spies was alright but not great
Landon Ward
who's what now?
Anthony Stewart
Fah's fit noo?
Joseph Roberts
nah
Christian Sanders
I agree. Can't remember the last time I got excited for a Spielberg movie.
Same with Tom Hanks. He used to be THE guy, if he was in a movie, you knew it was good. Now I just don't care.
David Davis
I enjoyed Bridge of Spies for what it was, which was mainly just Spielberg being sentimental. Not really something I'd rewatch all that much but it's nice to have a movie occasionally where a good guy sticks to his guns and wins against a large force. Set design was on point though.
He's pretty good at making movies about events that never happened
Aiden Harris
Steven Spielberg is the biggest hack of all time. Let me say why:: -He makes the same mediocre movie over and over again, all of them generic redditflicks That's why he is the worst.
Look at how similar ET is to Super 8
Perhaps there is no other director who pulled out so many shitty flicks and hogwash out of their ass as Spielberg. E.T, Jurassic Park, Private Ryan, Catch me if you can, Indiana Jones, Minority Report,
Bentley Diaz
>avatar >titanic yeah
Michael Kelly
0/10
Gavin Murphy
ET, Jaws, Close Encounters, and Raiders were great, though.
Liam Murphy
I've never seen AI.
Is it worth a watch?
John Flores
Super 8 was his worst movie.
Levi Bailey
I dunno man- I just watched Indianna Jones and The Crystal Skull last night...
Nathaniel Phillips
He belongs on a list of greatest film makers of all time. But his recent stuff just isn't very good. That Ready Player One movie looks it's gonna flop.
Matthew Ward
It's a weird as fuck film for who was behind it. I recommend it as at least a one time watch. Jude Law is great as a sex-bot.
Tyler Foster
not really
jude law carries it as far as it gets
Mason Cox
>make some thrillers that rely heavily on special effects, make some Oscarbait, copypaste old pulp serials >half of your filmography are bombs like 1941, Always, or War Horse >try to cash in on nostalgia and cheap emotions >have absolutely no flavor or style to anything he does He's really everything that is wrong with cinema. Take Jurassic Park- that only succeeded thanks to groundbreaking CGi. He directed Lost World with the same CGI that was no longer groundbreaking and it fared poorly.
Bentley Miller
>ET Hey kids look at this cute alien >Jaws Carried by the actors >Close Encounters Carried by Richard Dreyfuss >Raiders Its great because that genre is great. America was starving for some old serial action movies, Spielberg just realized it would be a popular formula.
Colton Hernandez
>implying big Jim isn't the greatest director of all time
Jonathan Jones
from a direction point of view tintin was a masterpiece probably one of the best animations.
Elijah Bennett
I bet he's the pedophile Corey Feldman was referring to. Spielberg was a writer on The Goonies
Zachary Hughes
Most of his movies are Daddy issues at heart, never a good sign.
