He always plays lonely, brooding autists that we can self-insert as
Always good to see a fellow autist find success.
He's only good at being a robot, like us.
He's like what we would be like if we were handsome, successful, and charismatic.
he's the most famous autist in contemporary times
I'm not gay but Goose is qt to be honest...
just look at him
Watch drive, he plays the type of autist every loser on here dreams of being
CAN'T NOOSE THE GOOSE
It's a meme
HE'S A FUCKING LEAF!
I remember him from Breaker High and that's all I'll ever see him as.
man, that movie was so fucking special in theaters with the speakers cranked. I wish I could go back. it was easily more aesthetic than BR2049 and that's saying a lot.
>tfw still put on the Drive OST and go on night drives
Autistic and cringy as that may be it feels so fucking good.
He's a good actor that chooses interesting roles, and seems to be an all-around good guy in real life. He's just very difficult to dislike.
He's getting a meme renaissance on Sup Forums right now because everyone's seeing "Blade Runner," and it's one of the best performances of his career
>tfw they will soon stop showing BR2049 in the theaters
>tfw I will never be able to see it on the big screen again
Blade Runner 2049 was better than the original
kys oldfags
Redditors invaded the place when Drive came out.
>it's one of the best performances of his career
Not really.
0/10
because he's literally me
By itself, honestly I'd never listen to this songs... but damn were they ever used perfectly:

might as well go again and not regret it like I do with only seeing Drive once.
>0/10
Not an argument.
>Plays a number of autistic roles, enough to make anons identify
>Still gets qts, giving everyone hope
>Looks as good as most of Sup Forums would actually like to look
>On that topic, looks good, clean but with enough rebel material to look manly, literally the perfect man
What's not to like?
No homo
>might as well go again and not regret it like I do with only seeing Drive once.
I already went twice. Second viewing was absolute comfy kino experience.
>I've never seen a Ryan Gosling movie. Why is he so liked here?
Watch Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, or Blue Valentine, and you won't have to ask. He's good, reminds me a lot of De Niro when De Niro still gave a shit
He's a real human bean...
and a real hero
just like me
>reminds me a lot of De Niro when De Niro still gave a shit
Goose can't act though, it's all just presence and autistic screeching... please don't ever make that comparison ever again. That was just terrible.
>My hands are a little dirty
>So am I
what did he mean by this?
I'm not a big fan of the "silent tough guy" schtick he's been doing the last few years. But in his earlier stuff and his more comedic roles, he shows he can definitely act. De Niro is a fair comparison
Vocal range and genuine facial expressions are two big things that divide actors and the big wedge between them two. You'd get laughed at if you ever make that comparison in person, just letting you know.
Stepping in here to say I'm laughing at you and we aren't even in person. How autistic do you have to be to think that "I'll tell him people would laugh at him if said the thing that doesn't agree with me!" would make you sound superior? neck ur self
>Vocal range and genuine facial expressions are two big things that divide actors
De Niro's been criticized for a lack of range and autistic behavior, too. He also chose to play pathetic characters who had spastic fits of angry violence. There's a lot of similarities to what Gosling's doing now, and to me Gosling's always been very convincing when he has a good script to work with. De Niro's great, but you're just putting him on a pedestal because he's a generation older. It's not off-base to compare the two of them
