can someone link me to a non-meme discussion of this film from the archive? I just watched it last night and this thread is already more successful than mine was

That movie was absolute garbage and anyone who says otherwise is just afraid of being called a pleb.
You need to bait discussion. What did you think about the film? What's the deal with the spiders? I don't think they represent women desu.
>You need to bait discussion
maybe I should make a post with the pregnant wife nude in it. that was hot as fuck
>What's the deal with the spiders? I don't think they represent women desu
why is that?
>What did you think about the film?
I was too much of a brainlet to understand anything about the movie so all I know is what people have said online. That being said, I loved the movie technically and thought the color and composition was astounding. I wish I didn't interpret things so literally, I'm such a STEMfag :(
Denis Villenueve should make a monster movie about giant spiders, just this shot alone is fucking amazing
What city is that, by the way?
>CN tower
>what city?
The greatest city in North America, Toronto
who is this girl? she's very cute
kek
I thought the spiders represented commitment or monogamy in a way. They represented the woman's internal drive to tie a man down.
Evangelion movie directed by villenueve when?
hurp
It really really is. I found it much scarier than even the room sized tarantula tho.
The question is, how do you make it scarier than it already is? It's a fucked up abomination roaming amongst an unassuming city. That's already top tier creepy
please
I think the spiders represent the anxiety of the main character. He gets distressed by sex and commitment and starts sperging out with his "double". But the movie has a lot of interpretations.
It's not even the best city in the Greater Toronto Area
t. someone who lives in Toronto
I agree, but still doesn't explain the big spider roaming the city. Unless the city itself is a "woman", trapping everyone inside.
ENEMY WAS A MONSTER MOVIE
THE MONSTERS ARE WOMEN
WHAT A TWIST
BASED DENNY DOES IT AGAIN
you're a big spider
Same thing happened to me when I watched it a week or two ago.
THE BIG SPIDER IS HIS MOTHER WITH HER GIANT TENDRILS LOOMING OVER EVERYTHING
THE ROOM SIZE SPIDER IS HIS WIFE TRAPPING HIM WITH A BABBY
HE RIDES A MOTORCYCLE BECAUSE WOMEN DONT RIDE MOTORCYCLES AND WHEN THEY DO THEY DIE ATTEMPTING BASIC STUNTS ON THE DEADPOOL2 SET
Why does it look like a giant prison?
wtf i hate women now
You can interpret that as his wife/family trapping him in that city and making him settle down there.
>now
DENIS PLS
AND MIGHT AS WELL CALL IT SEXIST RUNNER 2049
