When will the bubble burst?

When will the bubble burst?

Sometime between "you don't want it to" and "never."

As all of hollywood is starting to burn so if netflix goes too all that'll be left is youtube.

Soon

They're already raising prices and with every company creating its own streaming platform, it's on the horizon, I predict 2 years or whenever disneys platform is ready.

When disney releases its streaming company, merges it with apple/itunes video and buys movies anywhere.

So in the next few years

I don't see many people subscribing to more than 2 of these fucking things

my girlfriend is subscribed to like 10 of them. idgi to be honest fampai

what if third parties started tying together a large number of subscriptions to streaming services and brought them all to you for one low price?

>yo dog, we heard you like cable, so we put cable in your cable so you can subscribe to cable while you subscribe to cable

in theory yeah. streaming quality is mostly better than piracy, and makes more sense for 4K.

Most people have prime because it comes free and families or couples tend to share netflix, I know a few parents that have hulu for their kids too, beyond that I hardly hear of any other platforms.

>streaming quality is mostly better than piracy

are you retarded

outside of bluray rips how is it better?

i miss vhs rental stores.

id willingly trade in the loss of quality for mom n pop stores and a lack of hypercapitalist streaming service overlord fuck demons. nick land was right.

It's the social aspect. I'd kill for a place to gather around, rent movies, and discuss kinos with others.

>getting 30 new anime in 2018
If they are all high quality then I can see myself sticking with them. There is no reason for them to try to keep everything when the licenses are just getting more expensive.

Family Video is still around near where I live, I've been in there a few times but its out of the way for me.

Renting VHS was so comfy.

I just cancelled my Netflix. I'm getting Amazon prime because I want my packages quick

>late fees

fuck that shit

I cancelled Netflix. Most of their original programming is garbage. I liked Daredevil season one with dinofrio as kingpin. The next season was trash. Rest of the Marvel spinoffs like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are so god damn bad. Marco Polo was just okay but the whole christcucks boogeyman is/was absurd. Kingdom was meme worthy bad with albert the uther from bebbanburg where he say bebbyburr. Fucking hilariously bad. No point in keeping Netflix nowadays since they don't have the content they used to. All that's left is some SJW progressive shit pajeet films and asian made garbage.

Amazon has some straight up kino though in originals. Man in High Castle is great. HBO shit is generally free so I don't need to pirate or use someone elses account.

Hulu I've been off on subbed but stayed subbed for almost a year now. Original programming is garbage but they get shows right away unlike Netflix.

>returning movies late
wut a noob

I honestly don't get Netflix. My roomate has it and it's trash. Somehow I thought it would be an infinite catalog of tv and movies, but it barely has anything. I can't even watch Seinfeld or the Simpsons for fuck's sake.
It's mostly mediocre stuff, with some netlix originals that are generally terrible. I don't even know why people keep paying for it, I guess normies aren't prone to pirating and Netflix is just convenient to them.

Some time after Disney pulls out.

>girlfriend

out

YouTube you goof tard.

Disney tried that before and went it south

nobody ever fucking hung out at blockbuster and talked about movies.

Maybe not you.

I currently subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, FilmStruck, HBO, Showtime, Starz, and Cinemax, and I still live with my parents so I use their cable. Once I move out, I'll start paying for one of those packages of channels you get through the internet, like PlayStation Vue, or Sling.

Netflix is best one
Fuck the rest.

They're giving pic related a show as Jack Ryan, I wonder who Dwigt gets to be

> Disney
> merging

you do realize the reason they left Netflix is they don't want to merge with anybody ?
