America isn't automating shit, it's just destroying it's economy.
Actual economic production in the USA has been stagnating, THAT'S why living standards have declined.
Living standards are increasing in countries that have more economic freedom than USA.

Also automation only benefits workers in a deflationary free market as prices fall.
