Just watched this masterpiece.
Please tell me for once Sup Forums likes this pure KINO movie for once.

They hate everything good made after the 2010's
>You're special user
The majority declared it GOAT
I am among that number, the best film I've seen in a decade
This will be remembered in like 12 years as one of the decade defining movies. If you have not watched this in theaters you will surly regret it.
Sup Forums hasn't been able to discuss it yet because all the tourists plebs praising it (like you) haven't gone home
It's like TFA all over again
Have to say I thought it was the best I've watched this year
You haven't seen enough films then
imagine being this guy
Derivative trash.
the only people complaining about it are to poor to see it or are to afraid to go alone
I fucking hate to say this but it was KINO as fuck.
Easily in my top 10 movies of all time.
It's the most Sup Forumscore movie since Drive
Ofc there will be contrarians
best movie ive seen in theaters this year defintely, probably for a few years
>"keyknow"
It's the perfect confluence of stereotypical nerdy plebshit, it's the average Sup Forums poster, relatively new to the site, who goes to all the big boards on the site and shits them all up equally with his narrow knowledge and experience with various artistic mediums. He knows mainstream video games, he knows mainstream movies, he knows mainstream cartoons (especially those from the 90s and early 00s), and he knows only the biggest comic book characters. And he feels marginalized by society because of how much of a shut in he is, so he'll have the most shallow Sup Forums opinions and tastes. He'll prattle on endlessly about cucks and interracial porn, but he isn't informed or even cares about international political issues and happenings. It's just a slight veneer of memeracism and mememisogyny and the rejection of anything that could be considered "degenerate."
And the cross poster signals all of this to his other cross posters with the word "kino." It's like those hobo chalk signs. You slap it on a thread so other cross posters know it's safe to come out of the woodwork.
It was Kino with a few issues. Shame we don't and will continually not get movies like this more often
I fucking love this shot
maybe you've seen too many
the flash back during that scene was really unnecessary it's unfortunate it was included
So why did he decide to help Deckerd
This. It's like BrBa S5 all over again. A bunch of easily impressed plebs proclaiming it's a masterpiece, and then defensively and aggressively attacking anything that dares perturb their safe space.
It's a low point for even this board.
>dares perturb their safe space
it's so obvious kiddo just go back
it made me feel again
I haven't felt anything since watching the new ghostbusters
You weren't here for Drive were you? You saw some ebic caps, thought "hey i can use these and emulate it no problem" right?
youtube.com
You see Drive was hated by everyone when it came out save for critics and Sup Forums posters because it wasn't muh FF with ryan gosling. This trash is being praised by everyone but Sup Forums posters
its pic related all over again
>sequel which comes out many years after the original
>thought of as a cashgrab at first but turns out to be the best movie of the year once its released
>is even better than the original
>must be seen in cinema and is an incredible experience no one should miss
>beautiful visuals and sound
>almost everyone on Sup Forums loves it
> t. Roger Ebert
She was real dammit.
Also that japanese dressing was fucking HOT
everything i like will be dead to me in at least 2 years after every enjoyable moment is getting meme spammed to death on here, youtube, and reddit till its a normie braindead one liner right on everybodys nose so i might as well hate it now and never have to say goodbye
>see what /fa/ posts in their "what are you wearing today" threads
>see what /ck/ posts in their "lunch, /ck/. you?" threads
>9 out of 10 /diy/ projects are "lol I glued this bottle cap to a stick, how do I copper plate it to make a spoon?"
>this is what Sup Forums considers kino
Wow, so nobody on this entire website knows what they're talking about huh?
I want your top 10 movies
It's not as great as the original, but it's still really, really good.
It's literally better
Most Sup Forums like it, barring you and few other autists.
Last 2-3 days were something pathetic, watch pointless "b-but it sucks" thread started, threadcrapping, re-posting the same inane bullshit after being BTFO the day before.
ranch dressing?
>tfw born too early for faithful unconditional holowaifus
tell us more about how reddit feels
Pretty much this, I have never seen a movie with that great of a reception among my cinema loving friends. I think the last time we all agreed on something was like 15 years ago and because we were teens coming out of The Return of the King.
Definitely a must watch in theaters for the cinematography alone. Though I wouldn't recommend it for normies.
Critics praised br2049
normies hated it, see the box office numbers
and the only people on Sup Forums who hated it are redditors trying to blend in to the contrarian culture that's developed on this board
I wouldn't go that far. The original practically defined an entire genre.
Unless we're talking about the theatrical versions of the original. 2049 is better than those.
When it comes out on Blu-ray, I think that's when it'll really gain traction
This is a fair answer IMHO
>normies hated it, see the box office numbers
Correction: normies didn't hate it. They didn't even bother to go see it.
Lack of interest =/= hate.
One criticism I have is Luv's knife fighting. You don't lead with the blade hand, you lead with the off hand, then stab or slash after you get a hold of your opponent; even though it looks vicious and totally fucking cool to swing at the air, nobody does that in real knife fighting.
Do you have proof you're "Sup Forums"? You say normies, reddit and stuff like "the most Sup Forumscore movie since Drive" yet you don't even know how Drive went for this board. The last true film to be quote quote "the most Sup Forumscore movie since Drive" was Under the Skin and Spring Breakers/Pain & Gain before it
>People here actually saying this wont be a fucking classic
>Japanese
Are you retarded
...
You know what would have been a better twist. If Luv was actually the secret child
I will finally buy a 4K Blu-ray player for this.
>complaining about stylized fighting in cinema
>Do you have proof you're "Sup Forums"?
Jesus christ I cringe thinking about what your life probably is
but that's fucking stupid, user
HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHY DO PEOPLE NOT WATCH AND LIKE THIS CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE
fair enough, but remember that in her case she punches so hard that is difficult to tell what is the off-hand
Like Mad Max FR or Interstellar or Gravity or It Follows or John Wick 1 or any of the other garbage since Baneposting got big that plebs go on about being ""classics""(for a few months until the next piece of hype culture piece of media comes out)?
She actually did it right to stab him when he locked down her arm, just normally you don't have blades in both hands.
It was so good they shouldn't make another sequel.
Despite the positive reception by critics Hollywood is driven by profit. And just like the original Blade Runner, 2049 is a box office flop that will gain cult status over the coming decade. The only way they make another sequel in less than thirty years is if they scrap everything that made 2049 great, bring in JJ Abrams and give it the capeshit treatment.
>he can't because he wasn't
Thats what I thought. Stay in your general until you've got your Sup Forums "fill" then go home
I was hoping for that too, despite it not making any sense.
But I unironically feel this way
You fucking douchebags can't just like something without telling everybody how much you like it in the most obnoxious ways possible till everything great about the source material is stripped out of context and memed to death in your favorite Discords because you don't have real friends to talk to
"Kino Bladerunner" "Is it Kino Sup Forums" "Is this the most Sup Forums kino of all time" thread every hour
oops i mean 4U Le Running in the 90s Synthwave Punished Snake ;_; RULES OF NATURE face
>Believing Hollywood will still exist in 30 years
Here's why you're wrong: I didn't go to see any of those. Same for TFA and Rogue One. Still haven't seen them. I am planning to go back and see 2049 a second time.
I can definitely see It Follows being a horror classic. Granted horror movies of the 10's are mostly garbage so it doesn't say much.
Mad Max FR would definitely be a classic. Gravity could be a classic but it's so dependent on the IMAX experience that it's pretty bad anywhere else
china dress my friend, china dress.
t. has seen all of them.
add some drive and sam hyde to the post and ill consider upvoting it
Well three more days til BR 2049's china release day.
Hopefully that region can help pick up the slack.
it is japanese though
Big dog confirmed
weak b8
Normies liked Fury Road way more than they liked 2049
Qipao is not Japanese
OK, you can take a look at this before watching - full CamRip: festyy.com
No m8, don't poison people eyes with that shite.
Let them experience themselves on the big screen.
I watched it in 2D should i watch it in 3D?
No, there's no need to watch this movie in 3D
No. 2D IMAX
>my fedora obscures the sun
Dude, the fact that you are missing how pathetic is to talk about "true Sup Forums" tells everything about the sad state of your person.
This really went above your head and you are here, on a Punjabi Carpetshitting board, telling me "AH GOTCHA".
Consider retirement
Has any director, save maybe Nolan, managed to capture the heart of the video game playing fedorian as well as Villenueve.
It's like Mt. Dew in cinematic form. How does he do it?
>this lack of self consciousness
people discussed BR2049 for day. Is douches like you that have to create generals just to shit on it, or come and threadcrap.
And not even for le epic troll - you genuinely believe that is you fucking moral duty or something.
Is unbelievable how fucking delusional you are.
Sup Forums isn't contrarian . It's that critics are hacks
However this time Sup Forums and critics agree
>on a X board memeuip
Yup this guy isn't Sup Forums. Another tourist trying to be in with us. Hopefully people will wake up to your shilling and disgusting revisionist act for Drive
For me is the same. Is amazing how much you fedoras compare capeshit and SW to this.
People are impressed because was nothing of this shit.
guys I legit only saw barely over half the film before having to leave
even still it's my favorite movie of all time right above the original and first matrix and tropic thunder
same i hated that biut still kino
You are beyond salvation.
They do not understand the movie.
did your friends in real life enjoy the movie
>on a X board memeuip
this is a meme I have seen in at least other 6 boards. The guy above saying that you are the reddit could be right.
I loved it. Saw it twice. I never knew how to answer "favorite movie" until now.
Fucking hell. I want to watch it again but got a busy as fuck week. And next week they'll probably axe it
>are to afraid to go alone
Literally why? The screenings are almost empty at this point anyway.
The "nerdy" ones yes. The others did not care.
Parad
Wut? I just saw it a few days ago and I do not remember any flashback during the scene.
How do Nexus 9 work?? Theyre meant to obey correct? Then why didnt she just tell
k to fuck her since she clearly wanted his dick
and why didnt she just tell Luv to go away and not to kill her
THIS
How is it bait? The scene was incredible we didn't need Sapper or the resistance leaders voice appearing and taking us out of it
...
>Enemy
>Prisoners
>Sicario
>Arrival
>Blade Runner 2049
All during the 2010s
How the literal fuck dies he maintain these vast amounts of kino?
This.
The new generation of /tv is not so much different than plebbit.
They are easily fooled by dishonest film making becasue all they have seen so far is some shitty romantic comedies and capeshit.
It's like anything thats a little deeper than a puddle of water is ocean to them.
Let the dust settle first, but probably by then this film will be completely forgotten.
He makes movies for middlebrow viewers who like to tip their film buff hats and be tricked into feeling like they're somehow more discerning viewer, appreciating the medium on a level beyond the plebs, but it's normiecore schlock all the same. His movies are Nolan level hand-holding trash, Villeneuve just hasn't gotten to the point where his name has become unfashionable yet.
