British comic book series called Commando (Korkeajännitys in Finnish) has war stories from American civil war to Vietnam, but mostly they are about world wars. Commando is mostly grounded on reality and has stories from many factions, but occasionally there may be curse, wonder weapons or fictional top secret missions.

The Russian? Nah, wouldn't mind it though.

There's nothing Sup Forums about his post, he is making a valid question that can be extended to murrikans too. The truth is that no soldier is a hero if he isnt fighting off an invasion. The moment a soldier is outside the boarders of his country he is not longer a hero, he may be doing something good for his people but it's not longer heroic

But this is a comics thread. So shut up or post examples of what OP requests.
