Agreed, I reckon it's even true of relatively recent history, the Holocauster comes to mind.

I think it's their best, tightest concept album and one of my overall favorites. Everybody talks about Cruelty, but there's zero filler on Godspeed and it's wonderfully theatrical. I've actually been writing a D&D adventure loosely based on Honey & Sulphur. The atmosphere is so perfect for a horror fantasy.

That said, I have really enjoyed Hammer Of The Witches and Cryptoriana. I think Paul ran out of songs after Godspeed and hit a hard wall creatively. There's maybe a couple truly good songs between Darkly and Manticore. The new guys have a fresh take and clearly love the band and what they can do with it. Yours Immortally was their best album opener in a decade.

She and some of her friends posted on Sup Forums a lot and she was recognizable because she often showed up in the photographs taken at such conventions, and would post anecdotes and her own artwork. She got extra attention because her murder was named "THE MANGA CASE" by the police (which the media gladly copied), and the police and the media both attempted to blame manga and the wapanese community for her death ("DID ASIAN SEX COMICS CAUSE A GROUP OF SHY TEENAGERS TO MURDER A GIRL SO THEY COULD BECOME JUST LIKE THEIR FAVORITE CHARACTERS?"), but it didn't quite take off like blaming D&D, heavy metal, or video games did.
You can find her old posts on Dutch anime forums and half of it is about how she loves bishounen and how's she's definitely not gay for liking and drawing yuri
