Was this a good film or not?

Was this a good film or not?

It's really good and I feel like it's a product of it's time.

yeah it was quite dank

I liked it.

Lip my stockings user

Yes, yes it was.

It's a great film.

I don't think it was.
I like Bill, I like Japan. It was hard to make something with these 2 that I wouldn't like, but somehow they did.

It's my favorite movie.

It's pretty good like all of Sophia Coppola's films, surprisingly.

great for women, but men can't understand it

>ABLOO ABLOO I HAVE TO SPEND 2 WEEKS IN THE BEST CITY ON THE PLANET

No. Its bad

/thread

If you're not sheltered/autistic then yes, it's fucking excellent. It's one of those rare movies where you only get out as much as you take in.

There's an old saying
>if you have to ask you will never understand
That's you. Sad

It's Lebowski for non-alcoholics.

>ABLOOO MELANCHOLY IS SAD ABLOOOO
It's not sad retardo, it's melancholic and comfy.

Aaahhhhhh, I'm stocking rick!

I really disliked it, and I get shit on everytime I mention it.

Yes.

It includes Scarjo at her prime and Bill Murray is really good.

>ith comfee

Rich American problems: The Movie

genuinely can't tell if it was romantic love or something else

am i autistic

if it wasn't, why did ScaJo get flustered that Bill banged that old bag?

...

I watched it recently. Loved it. Bill Murray is so fucking good in this.

it's good if you accept that the characters are basically bad people

the best film ever made

no sarcasm. it's perfect

garbage movie with paper thin characters

I couldn't connect with the characters of the movie. However, but the documentary about making the movie is solid gold, and it made me appreciate it.

Bad for not being happy with their lives?

Stop being a basic bitch.

the 2017 HBO remake is best
with the numale mustache wax seller and his imaginary waifu

That scene where they are running through the arcade machines at night is the best scene in any film ever

KINO

>BEST CITY ON THE PLANET
t. eternal virgin weeb

Because she was projecting her husband onto Bill.

Bill Murray's character isn't actually 'real'

he is a hallucination of Scarjo's projection of an ideal romantic partner

or just humans like everyone else.

WE DID IT AGAIN xD

It's my favorite film, no joke.

it actually is
or would be
if not for all the fugly people

insulting racist bullshit

>we white people are the only "real" people in this country. asians are just weird entities we have to wade through xD.

the difficulties of integrating into foreign cultures is not racism.

They're relationship would have been based on that time and place. Eventually the real world would have to be addressed.

I still would try though.

>i didn't get it

They're right. Asians are soulless bug people.

black blue green?

I love Japan aesthetics as much as anyone but it was boring as fuck.

Not enough explosions or quips?

>It's not sad, it's this literal synonym of sad

I'm gonna punch you in the dick, daddy

A lack of appreciation for subtlety is the hallmark of a plebeian.

More like not enough anything

Yeah, as someone who has been to Japan, amazingly it's quite realistic. The Japanese are not quite like us westerners, it's changing and many do act more western, but overall its a very....erm...unusual society. One I like though.

The film isn't a Japanese documentary, it's a romance/connection film, but it's damn good.

Have you been to the best city on the planet? I have, and at times it can be fucking lonely when you're on your own and nobody wants to talk to you because they're too shy and don't wanna mess up their engrish. You literally start looking for white faces...well not fucking Americans, arrogant cunts.

>I AM NOT AMERICAN DID YOU HEAR ME I'M NOT AMERICAN
no one cares

What an awful response. Why did you waste your time typing it out?

>hey everyone look at me i'm a 10/10 jewess with enough money and time to travel to other countries
>feel bad for meee!

One of the worst movies I've seen. Bored rich normalfags are not interesting, and the ending is actively insulting to the audience.

I thought I was the only person who felt this way.

>oh no i'm a bored richfag stuck in a hotel what a drama
MUH AIRPLANE MELANCHOLY

To be desu anything can be tedious MO matter what your wealth or situation is.

Pretty good movie that captures the essence of the relationships.

Tell me Sup Forums what did he say to she in the last scene?

It doesn't matter.

Then why are you on Sup Forums?

>Tell me Sup Forums what did he say to she in the last scene?
Black metal ist krieeeeeeg

Correct, because nothing in the movie matters (other than the time you're wasting by watching it).

To respond to your stupid questions.
I enjoy the movie. Time enjoyed is time well spent.

Coppola's dream style is a great pleb filter

How did you not get engaged with their relationship?
Lost in Translation has to be one of my all-time favorites

Its a non-boring movie about being bored. Great stuff

Privileged malaise is such a boring fucking concept and all of this cunt's movies reek of it. That being said, I like the cinematography a lot.

I mean the point is that you're not supposed to know, but what he ACTUALLY said is actually on the internet, though I warn you it's pretty dissapointing, so I just rationalize that it's not canon.
I wouldn't read it if I were you.

t. triggered proletariat

Thats a funny way to refer to Vienna.

>no one will ever believe you

this

>Next time we meet, you'll piss in my mouth

melancholy is the happiness of being sad

idk op what did you think?
