What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?
Action Comics (New 52) vol. 8: Truth
For the Man Who Has Everything
Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
All-Star Superman
Based user, in that order?
Pretty much, the first three cover the early years.
Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? and All-Star Superman should be read later because they're enhanced by a deeper understanding of Superman.
The rest of the in-between ones are just various good stories and the order doesn't matter.
Oh, and Superman/Batman is a really great one for both characters.
Not in that order. Too many origins.
Stick to the Johns run (Secret Origin, Last Son, Superman: Brainiac, Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes) for the "core" Supes, and read Kingdom Come, Red Son, FtMWhE, WHttMoT, Secret Identity for the "What IFs".
Then read All-Star Superman and Superman: Beyond.
...
If you want to read the current on-going it'd be Lois and Clark, DC Universe Rebirth, Superman Rebirth then the numbered issues in order.
Top left, go right from there.

>yfw it all makes sense
Where did you get this list?
Shit like this is why I'm interested
This plus
Peace on Earth
Then Secret Identity when you start getting into elseworlds
Where would one get a similar set of these for Young Justice, Teen Titans, Batman, etc;
>New 52
>New 52
Eww.
Thanks
>all that golden age
>supersons
>grounded
>all that new 52
nope
The trash bin
OP here, what's wrong with new 52?
Superman has been shit for the past 30 years. Just read Supreme by Alan Moore instead. It was a post crisis Superman relaunch done right. Also get those silver age reprints if you can.
>Golden age
>Bad
Casual detected. It's much better than more than half the shit in there, especially the ones written by Jurgens and Azzarello.
>It's much better than more than half the shit in there
that doesn't make it good
These plus the rest of the Geoff Johns run.
Alan Moore's stories as well.
Fuck Moore. The last Superman story I wrote of his was complete hack shit "How do I give Superman all Superman's friends an ending they deserve? Oh I'll just kill them all"
