Last time I am ever taking advice from Sup Forums as to what's "Kino"
Boring ass show, no blood, no action. Guy catches his girl cheating, never confronts her and just lets her cuck him.
They only small boring ass small town crimes. They should have at least used flashbacks as the serial killers they talked to recounted their stories. No character development outside Holden growing slightly more douchey each episode.
For anyone considering watching this show, skip it and see "the OA" instead
The Daredevil and other Defenders shows might be more up your alley.
Hunter Davis
The worst part was the fact they show an interesting serial killer at large during the cold-opens and NEVER do anything with him
Anthony Lee
>DC Pajeet likes this cuck show Huh.
Austin Clark
I never even watched it. You want action and blood watch something else faggot
Jayden Richardson
>For anyone considering watching this show, skip it and see "the OA" instead I'm with you OP youtube.com/watch?v=vlRNnC7GupQ
Carter Gomez
>boring >no blood >no action >boring ass
Jackson Lopez
I fucking hate how Holden's partners take issue with his methods towards the end of the season, and act like their opinion counts at all when they're just infecting the project with the same bureaucratic bullshit that almost prevented it from existing in the first place.
Holden Ford IS the project. It was his fucking concept, so why does Bill Tench - who initially opposed the idea - get to tell him what he can and can't do?
And don't get me started on that dyke professor.
Ayden Wilson
>The worst part was the fact they show an interesting serial killer at large during the cold-opens and NEVER do anything with him That is the BTK killer and have you ever heard of future seasons, fucktard? This show is based in fact and they could not have BTK killing people at that time period, dumbfuck.
Kayden Lopez
So Holden's a sociopath, right?
The point of his character arc is for us, the audience, to slowly come to terms with the fact that he's a crazy or at least as antisocial as the subjects he studies. Am I misinterpreting this?
Joseph Sullivan
>he fell for le kino meme
Charles Diaz
Wow the feels guy finally lightened up!
Brandon Evans
Nah, you've got the gist of it.
I like the idea, but it was pretty hamfisted.
Tench's adopted son being a little psycho is being handled well though.
Jace Foster
I'm not your dumbfuck, fuckface
Josiah Garcia
but the response to it has been overwhelmingly negative
Oliver Martin
I initially thought that they were just making the child out to be autistic, but the photo was the turning point.
Samuel Martinez
I wouldn't say Bill is injecting bureaucracy, he's just more old school. Spot on about that cunt though.
Jaxon Young
To be honest, Holden is kind of disturbing. He doesn't seem to be affected by the events at all, unlike Bill. Anyone else think he may secretly be a sociopath?
Grayson Richardson
he's autistic
Michael Murphy
What kind of sociopath has a panic attack? He's not sociopathic he's just obsessive.
Isaiah King
>advice from Sup Forums as to what's "Kino
"Kino" means gay. Once you understand that, Sup Forums will make much more sense.
Jonathan Mitchell
There's no way he's a sociopath. He's shown empathy for others on multiple occasions. That said, they'll probably do something where he's walking the line, so to speak.
Jeremiah Bell
ok show. there were many missed opportunities. holden is a moron, his gf would make a better agent than him.
Jackson Hernandez
OP got ants in their tuna. got their bird fanned.
Anthony Reed
I hate how this kind of profiling shit is portrayed as anything but absolute pseudoscience.
Kayden Anderson
>t. psychopath in denial
Joshua Miller
>see "the OA" instead
Drop the tell and you'll get way more bites, rookie.
Luis Campbell
Tench is a detective who knows how to detect and how to liason with the rest of law enforcement.
The woman is a rubber stamp and there to put their hunches into professional medical-speak.
Tench should whine less about the psychology/morality aspects, and the woman should stay out of everything.
Connor Ramirez
Completely?
At least I didn't get that at all.
Dominic Gutierrez
This show is far more accurate. It's never presented as a science - just an investigative technique (that was already in use, but extrapolated to fit more puzzling crimes, like serial killing - where the motivations and relationships between victim and perp are harder to fathom).
But the basic concept is straight forward - profiling. What's amusing is that people think it's neat when applied to serial murders, but lose their shit when it's applied to other crimes.
Nathaniel Lee
Considering that Holden is patterned on John Douglas, who wrote the book at the show is based on, I don't think he's supposed to be a sociopath.
He is clearly shown to be getting too involved, too personally invested in his studies. Maybe going a bit too deep into attempting to internalize the serial killer mindset, but I doubt you'll see him struggling with impulses to kill anyone.
Jose Watson
When I saw the photo I was convinced he was gonna grow up to be the guy in the cold opens, then I heard about the BTK killer
Mason Lee
I think there were only so much flash backs because they want that eerie feeling when the criminal is telling their stories. I think they focused on how the criminals tell their stories as if it was normal. it gives a creepier vibe in my option.
OA was more about how the main character is the catalyst for the character arc of the others while in mindhunter it was the opposite, it was holden who is being influence by his environment
