Best episode this season. Was laughing all the way through. Has South Park returned to kino?
Best episode this season. Was laughing all the way through. Has South Park returned to kino?
I'm just glad they are doing dumb shit again
Every SP thread:
1. It's good
2. It's been never good
3. It stopped being good since (insert season here)
4. SJW
5. Cuck
I've only seen the first four episodes of the new season but each one's been progressively better than the last,so I'm feeling optimistic
So I'm not crazy and this episode was about Weinstein, right?
>anything over season 20 should be euthanised
>Has South Park returned to kino?
No. It seems to be heading that way though
Are they still doing season long arcs or is it episodic again?
still doing season long arcs
Episodes are contained stories but with some continuity between them. Kinda like the early episodes of season 18
best seaon in years. Hope they have a Christmas episode
this to be honest. the new game is 10x times better than the last 3 seasons because of the random shit happening, not the slice-of-life bullshit
> YFW world of warcraft episode was GOAT
so chip is weinstein, witches are generally just hollywood people?
Im not sure if the satire was weak or im just dumb. Either way, it wasnt as surface level as its been recently(le DRUMPF xD, le ES JAY DOUBLE YOUS xD), i dont really understand the episode. Pretty fun time though, reminds me of earlier seasons and watching the show as a teen while not understanding anything.
Even as a robot KHV, the cartman heidi arc was also pretty nice, they have been dragging down the series so far in my opinion
it was about muslims and isis
It can be or it can’t be that’s what’s good about these types of episodes. It won’t ever age
so what was the witches doing a witch hunt on witches in reference to? id understand if it was hollywood people outing others for fame/protection, but not sure what it could mean in relation to muslims. I guess this is the downside of completely ignoring murifat news, its harder to understand southpark episodes
This episode is when south park started to decline in quality
>so what was the witches doing a witch hunt on witches in reference to
the #metoo campaign and people/guys selling each other out
You guys are dum. Witches = White nationalists
Just because some white nationalists in charletsville are bad doesn't mean all are
there were some goof people marching
President is head witch/ nationalist
big if true
Congrats, you're as boringly centrist and unopinionated as Matt and trey, good job, pat on the back 4 u
literally the beginning of the end for south park and probably the birth of the big bang theory
This, the most memorable episodes for me have always been slice of life general good times(casa bonita, awesomo, scott tenorman, warcraft)
Im not sure the base hatred featured here for anything satiric or political is justified though, pol seem to be just as defensive and reactionary then the people they call out for being 'snowflakes'.
The satiric episodes themselves arent even that bad, the massive douche vs giant turd episode, fishsticks, etc are all great in their own way. Especially when they target vast groups of people and human traits more then segments(giant douche vs massive turd focusing on mass democracy and general stupidity)
maybe this episode in itself is great because instead of targeting a single group, it satorises a common human. You guys have came up with so many possible bases for the witch hunt reference, that maybe they are just using it in general.
>Witches = White nationalists
Witches were muslims
>witch kills a shit ton of people and kidnaps children
>NOT ALL WITCHES!!!!!!!2121211!!@!
>okay but this witch is a problem and it's an active problem that we want to deal with.
>AHHH YOURE JUST WITCHPHOBIC
You just proved this guys point
>are you saying walking around in the woods dressed as hansel and gretel means we deserve being kidnapped
you have to be a total mong to think this was about muslims
I don't see white nationalists going "it's not all white nationalists ;'("
I'm not even denying the idea that it is the concept of self victimization itself, but it without a doubt mirrors every terrorist attack since 2013
>are you saying walking around in the city at night dressed in very skimpy clothing means we deserved to be raped?
only muslims rape groups of women
I’d rather just take it at face value. You can find meanings in everything if you look hard enough
It’s kind of like how American Dad stared as DUDE REPUBLICANS DUDE POLITICS LOL! And after they dropped that in season 2 it became a really great show
>it's about muh victimized Muslims
>it's about muh victimized white nationalists
>it's about Harvey Weinstein
It's probably just about collectivising groups of people in general. Yeah not all Muslims are bad, not all white nationalists are bad, not everyone in Hollywood is a sexual predator. That's why this episode was good, you can kind of insert your own message into it. The message is don't blame the entirety of any given group for the actions of some members. Best episode in a while. The message wasn't too preachy, it's something most people can get behind and it didn't feel hamfisted. The story was stupid and over the top and was very classic South Park
Hi Trey
YOU'RE NOT BLAMING THE VICTIM ARE YOU?!
i agree that it's the best of the season but that isn't saying much. hopefully they can get the momentum going now to fix the show
the fact this post needs to be said, you guys are all dumb as fuck holy shit
muslims dont do that either
#notallmen
what was the significance of the President killing the bad witch with a laser?
and what was in the bag that made Heidi take so long to come out?
>it's a fucking American mutt looks down on a European actually affected poorly by both regimes and LARPs as a Nazi episode
It was telling us that people going after Weinstein are forgetting that we have given the nuclear codes to Trump. Just imagine what misuse of power that abuser has in his hands, way more than what Weinstein ever did have.
To humanise Trump; the creators were humanizing him a lot in that episode by letting him come into his own with his power in office, kind of like how he has with Rocketman.
it works with both because Trump used to hang around Hollywood circles too but the end of the episode makes it more of a Charlotesvile situation, my guess is that it's a mush between the two, if they chose limit both their White supremacist and Weinstein episode to this then its good.
yeah but makes no sense because Trump was never a muslim.
They've gone from Trump Derangement Syndrome to portraying Garrison sympathetically as a put upon President that finds it difficult to follow through but wants to.
What did Matt and Trey mean by this?
>claims to have true power
>can call on the militry to kill for him
>cant get anything else he wants done
just like real life
It's mostly the Sup Forums posters
I love how you hysterical left wingers think trump literally has a button that he can press at any given time, to nuke any country he wants. The President doesn't have that much power calm your tits. If the US was going to nuke another country do you really think it would just be a process as simple as one dude pressing a button?
it's not a button, it's a phone and some codes.
stop fetishising race you fucking faggoty excuse of a human being
kill yourself and bring all the other cunts like you with you
yeah no it's not that simple m8
actually it is.
en.wikipedia.org
You're a fucking idiot
They are making South Park great again.
They already did in 2003
watch the episode "cancelled" the first episode of season 7
Oh boy, it's on Wikipedia so it must be true to this day. Surely in our advanced times we still rely on decades old protocol for something like a nuclear strike. I bet you could just Google the real codes too.
Was literally just a fun, silly gag about witch "pursuit thingies". South Park is so much better when the setup is simple, stupid and indirectly satirical– the heavily political stuff and continuous series arc weighs on the show a lot. is right, this episode will definitely stick out as one of the better ones this series (and potentially from earlier series too) simply because it doesn't pretend like there's something more going on than ripping the shit out of herd/group mentality
>what was the significance of the President killing the bad witch with a laser?
I don't think there's more to it than what Garrison said. They had to wrap the episode and kill the witch.
>and what was in the bag that made Heidi take so long to come out?
Nothing. The bag wasn't the problem, Heidi was the problem. It was the same as when she has to get ready to go somewhere, she takes ages.
Why is nobody talking about the funny part of the episode showing Heidi being an unconsiderate bitch (she knows what annoys Cartman but won't do any effort) and Cartman breaking as usual but STILL not breaking up with her, even looking strangely patient in the end.
Also Cartman outing Kyle for never having a gf
that is because cartman Needs Heidi and he knows it
to be fair, not one says all muslims. Feminist do say all men.
Was Cartman staring down Heidi a Shining reference
They broke up once, then he threatened to kill himself.
Heidi's voice makes me feel funny.
genuinely made me laugh - first time in a long time i have laughed out loud at southpark
they seem to finally get that being a completely news headline political show is just plain boring right now.
that victim blaming part - "sorry folks" to the audience
says it all really
>Breaking news. Topic discussed yields varrying opinions and some shit posting.
What would we do without you, user?
But Kyle has had several gfs no?
>the neurotic home school girl
>that black girl
>Also Cartman outing Kyle for never having a gf
Kyle almost had one but Cartman ruined his chances by telling her that he and Kyle were fuckbuddies.
OH WOW YOU THINK WE'RE STILL USING THIS DUSTY OLD CONSTITUTION JUST BECAUSE IT SAYS SO ON WIKIPEDIA? THAT THING IS LIKE A HUNDRED YEARS OLD!
what the hell are you talking about retard, he's saying that the episode's conflicts and plot were fairly similar to the charlottesville incident. can you fucking read? he wasn't even talking about himself.
It's mostly like season 18 with a bit of season 19 style continuity, there's no overarching storyline like in season 20 but rather small things that carry over, such as Heidi and Cartman still being together, the Marshes kitchen wall being renovated, Mr Garrison being president or Stans grandpa living in a retirement home instead of with the family.
The technology hasn't been modernized in ages. The US still has nuclear command consoles that work with giant floppy disks.
>fell for the ubishit meme and actively supporting them
For shame.
You're not alone.
more than that he's talking as if the protocol has changed.
whether its the ICBM bunkers or the subs or the planes (all as old as built in the 60s) they still rely on a protocol that is simply, the president orders a nuclear strike, the order is authenticated to be from the president, they strike.
his big claim is that at some point they added more oversight and never bothered to tell anyone.
Trump can literally nuke anyone he wants and the only thing that would stop it is if someone broke command.
>the neurotic home school girl
They never get into a relationship because she turns into a slut the moment she learns about love.
>that black girl
Kyle and Nichole went on half a date at a stadium and then she got back together with Token.
that's literally every thread on Sup Forums retard
Why is Heidi so perfect?
>check Sup Forums SP thread
>they're literally frothing at the mouth because they think this is about Trump
man I thought you guys were kidding
There's one thread with two posts, and neither of them are "frothing at the mouth". Why lie?
Cartman was actually in the right this time, except the whole leaving her for the witch part
anti-Sup Forumsposters are worse than Sup Forumsposters
She's smart and funny
This, Cartman isn't capable to understand when his complains are acceptable or not. He's capable to overeact over some very petty stuff but won't make a bigger deal over something really fucked up since everything is equal to him.
I couldn't even tell when they were trying to be funny, it was shit and you're shit
SOUTH PARK REDEEMED BOYS, KINO IS BACK ON THE MENU 5/5
I just didn't get any of the past 3 episodes and the only reason I liked the one with Zuckerberg was because it was outlandish as fuck and I like kung fu movie dubs.
I like your schtyle
What's with all these far jokes thought.
They have never been this excessive in the show. I feel like a retard just watching this shit.
Why is Eric such a bastard to Heidi?
This was a great episode until Mr. Garrison showed up and ended the conflict with a Deus ex Machina.
No, I'm not a triggered Sup Forumstard. Trey went back on his promise not to do any Trump jokes this season. There are plenty of other sources of humor that wouldn't involve Mr. Garrison.
He's autistic, it shows earlier in the season when he couldn't stand being around her but wanted to kill himself when they broke up
>4/5 good episodes so far
I can't even remember the last time a season of this show had that many good episodes. Definitely not the ones after Season 12.
The "witch" who went rogue was this guy.
thedailybeast.com
>tfw last season was a ruse to make the following seasons feel great in comparison
>If you don't like her than break up with her, Heidi is a nice girl!
>You wouldn't know what it's like because you've never had a girlfriend Kyle
This season is going to end with Kyle cucking Cartman you just fucking know it
It's always been good, but they typically only have one genuinely great episode per season.
>You were supposed to get rid of all the immigrants, how's that going?
I kicked 6 out maybe
>And you were talking about a wall, how's that going?
Alright, did you just call me to talk shit and ruin my halloween?
Best joke in the episode along with "witch pursuit"
I miss Kenny.
Well you got Mysterion
Kenny was in last week's episode.
