Who here /jigsaw/? Sequel when?

the existence of this movie brings back some 2004-2008 memories.

Scary Movie 3

How was it? Is the new killer following John's ideologies or are they more or so a Hoffman 2.0 where they kill to hide their tracks?

Anything that's sci-fi horror
Its either hit or miss wich is unfortunate, pandorum had a great fucking idea but they just made the movie bad.
Recommend me some if you can.

It's hard to say. Without spoiling the movie we don't really have a full understanding of how the new killer(s) want to spin the legacy, the sequel has a lot to elaborate on, if we get a sequel. I will say the killer(s) definitively do things John would never ever do.

>Laurie Strode alive again
Will this film redeem the franchise from the terrible Resurrection film?

If you dont say The Thing then just leave

The Ring 2002 American version.

The best horror films are in the category of mystery horror.

Jason X is kino.

...

this desu, noroi is good too. i love the investigative stuff

i watched hellraiser recently and it's really trash? like super dumb lol any actually good gorey movies?

I'm hoping it will with john carpenter back in some capacity
I still would jamie lee

i know right, like, totally? you should totally like check out paranormal activity because it is like so scary!

I really respect the Halloween Franchise for just saying "Fuck it, nothing after 2 counts anymore" for the second time

Yeah. And getting Danny McBride to write it and dude weed lmao director to direct it is such a great idea. Poor Mickey.

why is that door so wide?

youtube.com/watch?v=F0EDHRvfsLg&t
are we ever gonna get a halloween movie that comfy again?

Watched this beaut last night. A little disappointing that Babs didn't get naked but hey, someone else got their tit chewed off so you gotta take what you can get.

they had to wheel in Arnold strapped to the armchair, throwing desperate rage tantrums. That shit takes some space.

H3 reboot when

I binged the second season of Channel Zero today and it was okay.
Started out very strong (loved the part where they go through the rooms) and ended in the most lame way possible. I don't regret watching it, though.
Season 3 looks nice, we'll see.

No thanks. Mostly because they would cast John Boyega for the main character

I don't get these movies. They're not creepy or that interesting.

wait, the whole season is out? I liked the first two episodes.

>I don't get these movies. They're not creepy or that interesting.

That's because you are the creep.

Good point. Back to masturbating.

Final episode came out yesterday.

How did such a hot actress like Janet Leigh give birth to JLC?

I haven't watched the second one, but the first was a little creepy at certain points. One of them being him in the wolf mask blocking the door, the slow reveal spooked me.

I think if he gets creepier and more unhinged in each movie (its going to be a trilogy) it could be a good series.

Anyone here familiar with Stan Against Evil?

Jeffrey Combs is supposed to star in the new season, and I'm a huge fan of the guy, but not sure if this series is worth the hassle.

From the trailers it seems like a low rent Ash Vs Evil Dead

omg it was soooooooo bad
out-of-sync dubbing (it's an italian movie afterall), abysmal acting (I'm pretty sure most of the actors are also porn actors), hilarious 'horror' scenes (the infamous snail killing is the best..), awful 1980s clothes, etc.

The Thing >obviously

I like Event Horizon too.

First season was pretty bad, but also only six episodes. Stan is just Dr.Cox if he were a republican rather than a liberal, which is to say that a fraction of his insults are more directed. The finale episode was pretty good, but it doesn't make full use of its cast.

I'd say watch the first and last episode of the first season, and then check out season two. Jeffrey Combs can save a lot of things, and I think that Stan Against Evil not going up against Ash this season might also help its chances.

It does some decent cheese though, and if you liked the actress who voiced Korra (or disliked Korra in general) she gets her shit pushed in a lot as the new sheriff of the town.

RE is comfy, but you probably already watched it.

Horror/Comedy Kino

Man, having two sisters who can't support horror stuff sucks. Even pic related was too much for them.
I just want to have a horror night with my siblings.

Try The Greasy Strangler.

Pro a ly the thing.

No dumb cunt strong womyn meme and the niggers werent that bad. Kurt Russell just wanted to get drunk in his shack wtf

Sleepaway camp

>What's your favorite scary movie
Kwaidan is my favorite.

Also, what movies rely more on a sense of dread and terror? I want some slow burns.

>I want some slow burns.

Check out The Fly and Hobo with a shotgun. Not exactly typical horror flicks but well worth watching if you can stumach them

I seen this, loved it

How is Onibaba? I was checking that one out

Do retards here actually think this movie is a "slow burn"? It's a tight 90 minutes and I can't recall one dull scene.

I doubt it, horror is shit tier genre and it needs to be original and well executed to be decent, but since you can re-hash the same shit over and over again to get millions of shills from normies who will watch any new shit horrod flick theres almost no point for originality/good movies

august underground trilogy is kino

>How is Onibaba?
Idk tbqh, It's on my watchlist tho. The Devil's Candy is slow af, nothing happens for the first 30min, but it gives you this "something terribly wrong is happening" feeling the whole time.

Are there any good disturbing found footage movies?

Noroi freaked me right the fuck out

Man Bites Dog, Cannibal Holocaust, the list goes on.

I really recommend watching the newish X-Mas/Horror film called "Better Watch Out".

One of my new modern favorites. Check it out without spoiling anything.

Megan is missing

What would you recommend for a bunch of 11 year olds to watch on a Halloween night?
Gremlins and Goosebumps maybe?

saving it for, you know, Christmas. Not really in the mood for a Christmas movies during Halloween. I've heard great things though.

Go on then, user

>it gives you this "something terribly wrong is happening" feeling the whole time.
Oooh this sounds like my shit.

Antichrist

It's had mixed reviews, but it's one of my favorite movies I've seen this year.
The music and art is right up my alley though so I'm a bit biased.

you're the retard, my man.

I want to share a short script with you guys. I finally got my shit together to film it this winter, but it's been sitting on my computer so long that I can't really tell what's good or bad about it anymore. Everyone I show it to is too nice, I need some tough feedback before we film it. This is a big deal for me, I might not get another chance if this doesn't turn out well.

The dream is to do a horror anthology series like Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt, with new original stories. This story will be half of our "pilot" episode to pitch that concept. So don't hold back, it needs to be good.

>How is Onibaba?
It's good, but can't even really be considered a horror by today's standard. Nevertheless, it is a great film.

...

Does the twist at the end of Saw 1 hold up today? I remember seeing it for the first time years ago, and even though I saw it coming I still really liked it. I watched it again recently and think it still is pretty good.

Thoughts?

The first film though, is still pretty good.

ree

my favorite is A Nightmare on Elm Street. I'm tempted to give the title to other movies, like The Exorcist or The Shining, but the one I really enjoy rewatching is the original Nightmare and Nightmare 3.

The thing that scared/disturbed me the most was probably the series finale of the original Twin Peaks tho

Landis gets shat on here, but American Werewolf in London is fucking perfect

Watch Noroi. Lake Mungo, maybe

carnival of souls is mandatory classic horror kino

Exhibit A

anybody that recommends lake mungo should be banned.

Eh, I thought it was pretty weak myself, but I can see some people liking it
