WHERES A WAY

WUHTISH

WHERE THERE'S A WHIP

fucking hell thanks for reminding me this shit exists

what was there excuse for glossing over the scouring of the shire?

Congratulations on fucking up the most braindead simple lyrics known to mam and goblin alike, fucking hell

Animation budget.

[Distant bongos]

Glenn Yarbrough was such a perfect match for the soundtrack. Pure unadulterated childhood nostalgia.

Don't get me wrong I fucking love the cartoon Hobbit and LotR, but RotK feels like a huge step down in quality

But if there's no whip?

I don't think LotR was Rankin/Bass, or it had a different team of animators at least. That one for me is the odd man out of the animated movies. You're right though that RotK didn't have the same level of detail as the original Hobbit.

maybe its one of those super creative genius memes like chilly and sea bass that are only for the most sophisticated of people on this board

Anyone else get lost in the kino that is gollums voice actor from the animated movies. His appearances on David letterman were gold

Neat. I will have to look for those appearances.

supriseingly catchy song

>no "wheres there is a whip there is a way" line in the movies

I think the '77 hobbit isn't great, but the songs are execllent.

I wish that the put some of the songs in LotR in the movies, even though most people would have hated it.

At least the Tinuviel song, I think Viggo wouldn't have been half bad. His Out of the Great Sea in RotK gives me goosebumps.

Best song, IMO:

LotR was made by Ralph Bakshi who is famous for making adult animated films in the 70s through the early 90s. The film LotR is most similiar to in style was Bakshi's Fire and Ice. The plot for LotR was confusing because they squished the first two books into a short animated film. But the soundtrack is kino.

>warbling folk singing
>perfect
No.

Then there's no way.

Others think Ol'Whipper, Lord of the Lash, has it easy but no one understand how hard it is to whip all day while marching. It is exhausting but neccessary work and you are hated for it by the other goblins.
