Sigh

You know what's going to happen in this thread

s

It was a different time.

He worked part time at Sneeds.

He Worked and payed

because he works at a nuclear power plant?

I don't know how the meme goes or have any originality so I'm just going to post SNEED FEED CHUCK FUCK LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Enjoy the rest of your simpsons thread

Sneed

They fired him for inappropriate behavior under the previous administration.

Bump

>yurocucks are impressed by this
lol

The Simpson's House (Formerly Chuck's)

>ameripoors believe commenting on anything means people are impressed

In case you didn't notice, his occupation at the powerplant is pretty essential to keeping that whole thing running. He's basically in managemenet position, only he doesn't realize it.

>american houses fly away in the event of 5 kmph winds

The post was specifically about how hard it is to believe an average man could afford something like that. i.e It is impressive

Dumb ass yuro.

>not old enough to see unqualified people get good paying positions

>the average Ameripoor is a bumbling idiot

Thanks for the confirmation

>work as an engineer in a nucleat power plant
>must have a good education and certificates
>be able to buy a home in a suburb of one of the country's worst white city.

>must have a good education and certificates
No

Houses like this in the suburban Midwest go for around $300,000. A mid-level nuclear safety engineer would make $80k at absolute minimum, which is more than enough to afford the monthly payments on a 30 year mortgage even if Marge didn't work and he had three kids.

Also, the 'canon' explanation is that Grandpa Simpson won it on a crooked '50s game show, so don't any of you faggots try to rebut me with Homer's minimum wage pay-stub from the Bear Patrol episode.

Is this what an american middle class house look like irl?

Grandpa helped them buy the house.

It used to be and, if you don't live along the coasts, still is in many cases.

Good save, but then the estate tax, property tax, insurance, etc., no way he can keep up payments on all that on his shown $25k/yr salary

>implying Homer has a degree
>implying Burns would pay a normal wage

>homer simpson
>university degree

U wot

In canon they bought it after they had bart.

The Gods of Animation didn't want to bother with drawing in cramped spaces, and thus they granted him this gift to save them the trouble.

Maybe Springfield is a cheap place.

Learn english you shitbird

He lived next to a nuclear plant?

it really was

In the interest of discussion they showed his paycheck one time and he made like $25,000 a year in 1995. Here's what I remember from the flashback episodes
>Homer started at the nuclear plant just before Bart was born
>Homer bought the house just after that
>house is valued at $120,000 by retards online
>probably less in 1995 money
>Homer was out of debt just before Maggie was born
So he paid off his house in about 10 years and he has no other outstanding debts. I don't know if that's entirely realistic given how much he made but then again it's a cartoon.

Grandpa won a different house on a crooked 50's game show. He sold it to put a down payment on this house for Marge, Homer and Bart when Marge was pregnant with Lisa.

Homer has no qualifications just turned up on the day they opened the plant.

Jesus, it's like this show isn't repeated multiple time a god-damn day in every country in the world.

I swear you have to be wilfully ignorant and/or retarded not to have absorbed these things through painful cultural osmosis.

I fucking hate The Simpsons.

????

>I swear you have to be wilfully ignorant and/or retarded not to have absorbed these things through painful cultural osmosis.

So they force you to watch reruns on TV where you live? I haven't been involuntarily exposed to more than a couple hours - when visiting family - of TV per year for the last 10+ years.

They also paid zero upkeep and zero upgrades to furniture etc.

Anything can happen in between but its going to have Simspons incest porn by the end

Homer probably receives royalties from both his barbershop quartet and grunge band.

sneed

>wooden house blows away in storm

How old are you? It might be generational. In the pre-internet 90s it was shown all day everyday.

I'm 31. I used to watch - and enjoy - reruns of the Simpsons in the 90s to around 2005, which is when I moved out and haven't had regular access to TV in the traditional sense since.

I bet nobody's been shoving Simpsons reruns down your throat either. So why are you complaining?

I wasn't complaining. I was correcting an incorrect comment and suggesting that even someone who doesn't like the Simpsons would know this.

I suppose a better question would be why I would be reading a Simpsons thread, but then I am really really really bored.

I'm 37 I also used to watch it and like it but the over saturation has caused a sincere dislike. In 1990when it came here (slight delay) it was the be all and end all of entertainment.

because he doesn't live in California

because they live in the world's richest country.

homer is pretty much how the rest of the world see americans.

dude it's actually pretty weird that I live in a place where houses were built 150 years ago and they're still standing today

mirror

>no bs
>jus straight facts

what I dont understand is why a fucking nuclear engineer is portrayed as a retard, makes no sense

My dad's from scotland and the boarding school he went to was old as fuck and haunted as shit. Kids would wake up and see the door to their room slowly open with nothing pushing them and then slam shut

>boarding school
>see the door to their room slowly open

Your dad's suppressing some dark memories m8.

One of the few things that didn't reboot after the episode ended in the simpsons is when he manages to gain the safety inspector position in homer's odessy. It was so he could shut up about the plant not being safe.

It would happen in rooms with 6 boys on bunkbeds and theyd all see it open. No one man could rape 6 boys at once, could they?

when the fuck do we ever see that kids play room?

>kids play room?

You have a lot to learn about UK boarding schools. Six? That's fucking child's play, literally.

He bought it before the Jews gained full control over the market

In the Episode where Bart shares a comic book with Milhouse and Martin homers sitting in there and looks out the window to see the treehouse.

that he didnt have at season 1

Humm.. there is one episode where Lisa punch a hole through the wall from her badroom to Homer's bedroom. this is not posible according to this

>closet is under the stairs

I thought that door lead to the basement, wasn't it established that way in an episode?

maybe she punched diagonally at the corner of her room

He is murrican and murrican houses are built of cardboard and plaster

>Also, the 'canon' explanation is that Grandpa Simpson won it on a crooked '50s game show

What? There's an episode where Homer is celebrating because he's finally done paying off the mortgage.

That's a pantry that lines the basement staircase, very common thing in houses built in the 30s/40s

It was the 80s, when this standard was affordable to the wages of someone iwith a job like his.

Not for you anymore.

If 6-12 guys did it at once? Easy.

Rape jokes aside, I'm not saying that's necessarily what happened. Hell, I'm hoping it didn't happen. All I know is that that place wasn't haunted, since there is no such thing as ghosts.
