I only saw the first two pictures and now I'm sad inside

isnt that just a regular tumblr meet up?
there are plenty of wierd ass genders and a colouring book

Please no.
Not again.

I love these but is not because the "oh so relatable" but because I feel so sorry for that magenta blob

Stop posting photos of yourself.

This is why I still don't have a voicemail.

More like Sup Forums, /trash/ and /mlp/ meet up.

oh no

>having sex like that

I usually can't stand the typical lolrelatable stuff but I like these for some reason.

Every other lolrelatable comic is "lol I'm an adult but I function like a middleschooler"

Webcomic Name uses lolrelatable conflicts that people of any age and creed can face.

woah

fuck this gay earth

When will she get back to comics that aren't RUNNING GAG?

...

These are by the same artists from webcomic name?

God damn it, I laughed.

Post edits

All of these are pretty funny, got any more?

If this were Sup Forums I'd say
>spoonfeeding
but since this is Sup Forums I got your back famlam

webcomicname.com

>couple of people saying this is funny
>it's just the exact same jokes from a million other blog comics except its layered in a thick bog of post modern irony where the author doesn't even attempt to try at a style, the only way to make these more utterly neutral is to make them bathroom stick figures
>a couple are even stealth first world feminist issues

I mean, look, I'm not a stiff, I get that the juxtaposition of it being totally dry and matter of fact with these overly done jokes is kinda funny in and of itself but

Man these are expressly shitty on purpose, they are the kind of thing you'd see as a shitpost of a person making an intentionally shitty comic

But they're not really grotesque or interesting enough to actually be entertaining in and of itself, it depends on your knowledge of other derivative blog comics to get the joke.

I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking, but there are already so many comics that skirt the line between the author trying to be weird and post modern and also finding ways to not try at all both in art and writing, so many infantilized simplifications of life in things aimed at adults, where not trying is somehow seen as subversive instead of just fucking boring and lazy...

Is it just me or is this kinda humor just getting really stale and dated?

THIS IS A BLUE BOARD! SPOILER THAT SHIT!

The ironic stale samey jokes are ironically becoming stale samey jokes.

This

Abstract and surreal absurdist memes that double as chaos glyohs are the new hotness, more bang for your shitposting buck. They're driving post modernism out of business as we enter the brave new world of post reality

You could say the same thing about memes
is not funny because "oh so relatable" but because its a stale joke

It's making fun of a lot of the dime a dozen relatable comics most of the time.

Are you talking about OP?

I chuckled a little and I don't know why. I guess comedy is subjective.

youtube.com/watch?v=kkDMz2ml0gw

Eh, I didn't even pull a feminist message from it.

I seen it first and thought "Ha, yea that is true sometimes our imagination of none drawn characters can be one thing, and the adaption can completely turn our worlds upside down."

I only thought about feminism when I read your post.

Maybe they're doing it deliberately to kill off the trend of whiny blog comics.

Just give it time, normalfags are always behind the times but they burn out on the content much faster than we do. It was not too long ago that suicidal jokes were popular in the mainstream before dying out. They'll soon move onto whatever the hell this site is raving about now.

...

THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL

>Anti-humor is kinda funny
>Anti-humor is shitpost tier
>Anti-humor only works as anti-humor
I don't think I have seen a post that used so many words to say pretty much nothing in quite a few years.

Oh fuck off, people have been doing anti humor for fucking years, shit like space ghost coast to coast existed ten fucking years ago, the difference is that there was a modicum of effort in presentation. This is literally "I'm not trying at all, aren't I clever and hip?" Tier

it's like one step removed from jerkcity
if you're not into it you're not into it

...

Maybe you should post some frog memes.

Memes are always funny, and keep getting funnier the more you post them.

You put way too much thought and anger into silly internet comics, holy fuck.

Well, this seems familiar.

This thread needs more Big Dick Problems.

If it helps, apparently RF2015 caused so many problems that the con organizers couldn't get hotel space again for the next year, eventually leading to RF2016 being cancelled entirely.

Who was it for you, Sup Forums?
That cute girl who smiled at me as we passed each other on the way to class. Somehow never saw her again.
Well fuck if I can spoil thing but who cares I'm tired.
(Spoiler here) of living (spoiler)

No fuck you, theres an obscene amount of indie comics that go for this style of utter nonchalantess, utter minimalism that borders on parody, and writing that just goes for this esoteric bullshit and it's so fucking annoying to see people who have the opportunity, the privilege of making art as their livelihood or have the time to make it as their hobby, to make work of such utter passionless noise pollution. It's wasteful, it's insulting to everyone's time, and paradoxically this drivel often has the sheer vanity to call itself a higher art than the base commercial drivel, when really it's lower than the intentionally degenerate. The degenerate at least has the express vision of being offensive, this work is inherently inoffensive, and that's what's so bothersome about it. It adds nothing yet takes such space, it is the artistic equivalent of your obnoxious self important neet family member who doesn't harm your family directly, but drains at your social wellness and resources. It's like a parasite that feels entitled to your blood.

It is the art of the pathetic.

The same "artist", yes.

She uses the webcomicname art style in the past, it just wasn't all 'oh no' as the punchline.

Thanks Sup Forums

and
Fucking had me in tears.

i agree.

i unironically enjoy most of these jokes despite the staleness and the inability to relate to most of them. maybe the nonchalance of it all makes it feel subversive in my mind or i just want to pretend to be a normalfag. and this is from somebody who hates memes.

really, the best thing you can do is to become the change you want to see. i mean, the authors of these comics are pretty shit at art too, surely you could create something better.

So she thinks she is in the top percentile of intelligence?

...

rmyt

This one's pretty good, I think I'll plagarize it.

All I've got is a candy bar

Thanks for putting into words what was bothering me too.

Ok, this one's pretty good.

Didn't she flip out over all these edits?

Actually no. She did the complete opposite and ignored them

Nah, I think she just brushed them off,

They genderbent the MC into a sexy chick? What's not to like?

These are pretty bad but at least better than boring loli/waifu shit you see on Sup Forums everyday.

it's about ethics in videogame

>shit like space ghost coast to coast existed ten fucking years ago
lets just gloss over this easily shit-talkable bull shit and skip right to:
>modicum of effort in presentation
Lets be honest, Space Ghost Coast to Coast(as your own example) was only ever intended to be a cheap/lazy re-utilization of per-existing characters and assets By comparison, it seems like every individual panel of this comic is drawn uniquely with individual characters .

This one is good

To this day, I still regret not striking up a conversation with the Asian girl on the bus playing Majora's Mask on a 3DS with a broken thumbstick.

doing something ironically is still doing it

Fixed.

Jesus Christ, it's like peering into my soul. ;_;

Porn of the pink blob when?

yeah, fuck thinking about things and discussing things, my dude
i like it the most when webcomic guy goes 'oh no' hehe

Unfortunately the "Oh No" comics person is a bit of an sjw, pic related.
I wouldn't mind, but it comes through in her comics

Ambiguous. So silly it comes off as a parody of the notion of "manspreading".

I considered this, but I don't think it's a parody.
I think if it were intended to be a joke, the manspreading would be in the second panel, as per the artist's usual formula.

Something like would fit the formula better if it were meant to be a joke:
1) I want to sit down on this train
2) *manspreading*
3) oh no

As a person who despises SJWs, everything is better with humor. That being said, her comics are hardly offensive from what I'm seeing, and the one you posted is humorous. Many other artists and authors don't use subtlety in their approach to political and social issues unlike from what I'm seeing of this author.

I went on the tumblr (red flag) and read all of them earlier. A few comics seem to attempt no joke whatsoever, just go:
1+2) "something I don't like"
3)"oh no"

Case in point, pic attached.

I actually really like these comics, but I find that a few of them do seem to suggest the artist is either an SJW or trying to pander to the abundance of them on Tumblr.

But it DOES fit that formula. Point 1 is spread over the first two panels, and Points 2 and 3 are compressed into the third panel.

This could be construed as an SJW-type comic, but it's nowhere near as preachy as most such comics tend to be or become.

I think this is more about people on the internet wanting to know if the author of the comic is a girl or a boy. Whenever somebody gets popular, if their gender isn't apparent, people tend to badger. But it really doesn't matter, like why do people need to know?

>it's nowhere near as preachy

This is what I'm trying to get at myself. I don't think that the artist is being very pushy as more extreme SJWs always are, and I appreciate that.

I was trying to say that it is clear that the artist is an SJW and that you can see that in certain aspects of her work, not that her work is ruined by SJW-dom.

The problem with SJW comics isn't the point they're making, its that the authors are so self-righteous and they're not looking for a laugh, they are looking for clapping and an applause for standing up for such a controversial topic that's been done to death by better people than them

But isn't an SJW somebody who pushes it way too much and is obnoxious about it? You can just say she's a leftist or a liberal instead.

No, she made a twitter saying " hey they are editing my stuff" and never talked about it again.

Unlike Sup Forums she doesn't seem to get triggered easily.

that's internet SJW's, the original SJW's are all right. it's the same with any fandom or movement where it gets millions of hangers-on that don't actually understand what they're siding with and decide to reinforce points they don't understand by getting even preachier, as if volume can substitute subtance

I didn't really consider this, but actually I don't think it applies here. If you look at all the comics, it becomes pretty apparent that the artist is a woman (I won't go into gender identity).

I chose to use SJW because I felt that the specific issues she addresses are those that SJWs often address, moreso than liberals or leftists. Granted she seems to be more of an SJW-lite than a full-blown warrior.

Fair.

I think this is another example of the artist reflected in her medium, although to a lesser degree than the other ones I posted

She said she was reporting them and everyone else should too.

I feel as though the people who make these comics have never been in these situations but read about them online.

This one was posted Nov 10th 2016, shortly after Trump's victory.

And you do it for posts on an imageboard. Welcome to the club.

I hate reading books because at first I imagine how something looks but then later there is written that this thing looks completely different than I've imagined

Oh no.
